We spent a weekend at this hotel and were very disappointed.
Rooms:
The "penthouse" had nothing of a penthouse, but was a regular room (hardly bigger than a normal room and with continuous glass frontage to the balcony, which unfortunately were not equipped with curtains to the privacy). The establishment has come in the years, the grout in the bathroom mouldy, the walls had put cracks and the overall impression is that the hotel has been renovated years ago and is now resting. It meets most "Wanted and failed".
Location:
Very beautiful location directly at the Maar! TOP!
Cleanliness:
In our room we found very many animal hairs. The Hotel Manager just let us know that you would have no influence on when guests bring with their pets, dogs are allowed anyway.
Service:
Although we were seen entering the hotel, we had to wait about 15 minutes before the men at the bar counter had finished his cleaning and cleaning up and could devote us. The breakfast service we had to run after literally to get our place allocated by you. The service in the restaurant was far from satisfactory. Both waiters and owners showed rather apathetic to their guests.
The described hotel sauna turned out as a hardware store basement sauna, which is already crowded with 4 people. The garden is available to cool down. Here one is eye in eye with the restaurant visitors! Good appetite!
Price-performance ratio:
For a 3 star superior Hotel we expected much more. To make a good impression at the guest, more takes than to meet the point checklist of 3S-Kategorie of the DEHOGA list.
Breakfast:
Desinteressiertes staff. Little selection (especially bread, …) and to mostly the cheapest of the cheap. Must be saved probably here
Restaurant:
Our booking package included a 3-course meal. We received advance no info about the process and the meal to clarify any intolerances/allergies/vegetarian etc. The dishes were served without comment, the operation several times dropped cutlery and the appearance was more than amateurish. Attempted the cuisine a painting Haute to Miss cuisine, but unfortunately you can eat better in the most bourgeois ret aura NTS.
TOP location! Everything else leaves much to wishes!
