The room was a little too small and had no chairs. The food wasn't very delicious. The showers and toilets were as they should be.

Nice dining room and very good location. However, communal bathrooms.

Rude and not exactly great. Smells were not to be held and the rooms were well. Of the size but good. But should accept a youth hostel for teenagers who are awake even longer and vllt are even louder times.

All overall quite old. Staff is nice, décor also OK, but no own toilets and I have been there 3 days not yet experienced that to be cleaned. Food ok, partly good, but can also be really bad. The location is great, the hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Mobile data is a nice thing, good reception. Quite noisy at night, but mix Oropax well.

The staff is very nice but the hostel itself is very very hard to find by the house number!

The rooms are haunted by the fact that doors and windows open themselves inexplicablely…
Besides, the food does not go at all because it is not fresh and if you do not come to eat you will be crapped together.

Very small single rooms, okayene food and mostly nice staff. But is only an emergency alternative if nothing else is free.

Stayed in a four-bed room, with shared toilets and showers for the whole floor. So a typical hostel.

Unfortunately, there is no private toilet and shower in the room, only communal toilets and showers. The beds only have lats as rust and from that you get real back pain. However, the rooms are quite large and clean. Breakfast was good, dinner could have been a little better. Because of the beds and the bathroom facilities, I give 2 out of 5 stars.

As a Student, you are excluded here, as you don't get any Care at all for the same Price as Private Individuals. The first 2 Floors were full of Students, so a Friend and I got a Room for Private Citizens on the third Floor. This one is isolated from the other Floors and has lockable Showers, not the way below. All other negative reviews relate to the first two Floors (A + B) and the positive reviews to the upper (C). And even though I was on the good Floor I find it ridiculous the Student, just because they are students to be treated worse and in doing even pay the same Price. Although we were in the upper Rooms, the Man at the Front desk didn't even want to give us the Password for The Room Wi-Fi for money. But the Food is the same Bag food for everyone.

Centrally located, simple Rooms, very clean and cheap, bathroom and TOILET in the Hallway. Specializing In Craftsmen and Students. Also suitable for Backpack tourists. Recommended.

Great location close to square and shopping. Breakfast is wonderful and filling. Facility is clean and well managed. I would give it a 9.

The location, right in the center of Trier, is perfect for a quick city tour. The service is friendly and the room lacks nothing. Would recommend it to friends.

The hostel is located right in the center of Trier. The staff is very friendly and helpful and there is a safe place to lock your bicycle. Also the breakfast is very good. I would recommend staying here if you are cycling along the Mosel river.

We get back our money! According to the rules of the house, we can leave the bin 10 at the hostel, on the day of the reception was, however, only up to 7 PM. Money is gone!

In the context of a Latin travel, I have visited this hostel. The experiences I made with the youth hostel were bad. The food was a disgrace and the Standard of the rooms and the General facility is better. The toilets and shower rooms, one would have expected Better for the money, because they were just dirty and old. Towels and soap were never replenished or renewed. A renovation would be appropriate here. In addition, one could not perceive the food as a positive. At Breakfast there was a charred bun and dinner was also inedible. A further point is that the beds and mattresses were dirty and partially hair. The beds were not very stable. The polystyrene existing ceiling was dirty and old. From the reception staff, I don't want to talk at all: they were just rude. The only Positive that could be said, is the direct location in the city. All-in-One: Never again!

All good up to the room and on some days even dinner. Under my bed is a woman. In the corners cobwebs. The pre-washed bed linen is dirty. But in the morning the food goes. At least it's something!

The hostel is at a low standard. The rooms could be better, the toilets are disgusting. The food is acceptable, free Wi-Fi hardly works. The Desk does not react or hardly any noise complaints.

Highly recommended! Everything is very clean, even the toilets. In the toilet room in the basement, even personal hygiene products for women are free available. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
There is a large bike stand in the yard. The breakfast is simple, but decent. You can get even lactose-free milk and yogurt and vegetarian Ausfstriche. Quality of coffee still needs to be improved. What has some difficulties: Wi-Fi is only found in the reception area.
Our double room had a closet, because you could shut off and sink.
All in all: simply unbeatable for the price!

Although the food is good and the public areas clean, however the rooms and showers no more than acceptable. It's still yet to recommend, however the school staff is very unfriendly and biased, what worsens the overall impression so far that this facility is not recommended, despite the good location and free Wi-Fi.
A few examples:
(1) unfriendly staff: on one of the beds, a sticker pasted on the day of departure. The lady that checked the room, believed to know that this is two times two centimeters wide not there was sticker three days earlier when cleaning and ordered to remove it within less than two minutes.
(2) dirty showers: showers the water five minutes expired before another ten minutes.

A good hostel for little money. Even if everything else is full, you will find here a place to sleep. The twin rooms are simply but tastefully decorated. The faucet or The direction of the sink in the room could be overhauled times. The staff is mostly friendly and obliging, the 24-hour reception. The breakfast is simple. Not the best but rich. At night, it can be even louder, is just a hostel. Very good deals for cyclists! And Nice rules of etiquette on the Klos :)

The location is awesome but. 3 minutes up to the McDonald's and in the city.

The NightWatchman is the worst staff I know. I would imagine the ladies in the kitchen preparing the meal. Hair were eating and it was inedible. We've been eating better in the city to eat as the food. The rooms were dirty and the geranzt. Never again.

I have stayed in the wars Berger Hof is a 2-bed room and there was nothing to complain about. The bathroom is in the hallway, as it says in the description. Wi-Fi is in the reception area, there is also Seating. The Breakfast was rolls, juice, coffee, tea, cereal, sausage and cheese ok.

I visited this hostel last year with my Latin class. Unfortunately, there were many inconveniences, to lead the, the, the I would not recommend this hostel more. 1. The staff was very unfriendly towards the students. 2. The rooms were in very poor condition (mattress Yellow were demolished, curtain goods, window lever was broken)

3. No clean rooms (hair and food scraps under the bed)

4. The showers didn't look appealing (Anywhere black Pflecken and lime)

5. At the Breakfast there were often hard and dry bun. Also, the sausage is not often looked appetizing. However, one must say that the hostel is located exactly in the center of the city. Therefore, you can reach all the sights quickly and to feet

But I would not want to live there again in this hostel, because much of it is in poor condition and it is not a nice atmosphere for fun.

Reminds of an era gone by, nice stay in peacefulness.

I would not go with teenagers although the rooms are ok yet no own bath room, the night watchman is the worst human being ever loose and would sleep the young people also loose out there. A hostel should be well jugendfreundlich, would rather spend a few more euros for what sensible.

I can't say anything about the prices, but the level of accommodation was somewhere between a typical city hostel and a "youth hostel". The doors don't block the noise, the showers can only be adjusted between too cold and too hot. And the reception is closed before 10 and on Sundays. But the staff is reasonably friendly and the location is great.

We were there school, there is of course not so demanding, but right at the beginning when some in the justice sat on the chairs they were made to really toxic, that they should sit on the ground if at all.
Okay, these things happen (hopefully not often), but what I then met in my room was just E-KEL stick!
The ceiling was accidentally broken through with Brown stripes, which was at one point slatted frame, bed linen was sometimes dirty and under the bed was an angeschi * ene underpants and a sausage bit of. As I kindly asked if they want to remove this it drove me only stupid.
It was only in the night. One could hardly sleep because it was just too noisy. Instead of that the night watchman donates peace it was then even louder.
To the food: it is acceptable and tastes relatively in order.
My personal favorite point is still that we've got Wi-Fi free. I think this statement enough.
I personally would probably don't like to stay in this hostel. If I should visit again to Trier for some reason, I'll find something else.
