5 stars +, we were really very enthusiastic about the hotel: everything was right, from the reception, to the bar to the departure : all very friendly and accommodating. The room thoroughly clean and spacious. We can recommend it unrestrictedly.

Was there for a week to a seminar and must say that there everything is super organized. The food was delicious and fresh. The location is really great for me, right on the motorway driveway and at the stadium of Bochum. Only a small shortcoming is the parking situation there.

Good hotel and nice service. A point deduction for what I consider to be a weak breakfast. Slightly loveless and visually weak, coffee and cups to pick up yourself. Rooms are completely adequate and clean. The location to Starlight top.

Good value for money with an optimal location. For 50€ Spent the night with very tasty and varied breakfast here a week for business. Due to the direct location on the A40 (although no noise nuisance) you are quickly there and away. The rooms are adequate and well equipped. The surrounding area also makes many paths possible on foot.

the Name made a mockery of what was served.
had ordered asparagus with small Wiener Schnitzel. The potatoes were pre-cooked and tasted accordingly, have never eaten such firm asparagus, do not think that "crisp" should be the right consistency. The waiter, on the other hand, was very courteous and polite as you can hardly experience it nowadays.

Very good value ratio. Friendly welcome. Good food with very good service. Rooms excellent. What bothers me personally is the bathtub instead of a reasonable shower. It always gets kind of wet. But this is only a slight cloudiness.

A good hotel. The beds were good, the room large enough. We were three and got an extra bed in the room. Breakfast was good too, personally I was missing a little fish, but that is taste proof, so there is the full score. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The stay, the room and the hotel restaurant were good. Breakfast was only OK. I had to go personally to the service staff, as neither hand signals nor shouts were perceived. Otherwise I was so happy.

Were only one night since we watched Starlight Express but only to recommend! The proximity is simply unbeatable. After Starlight, we still have a bagging or Another beer and then off to bed. Price value is different. When we came into the room, it didn't smell fresh, probably also came from the duvet. The staff has brought a fresh one on request. Rooms are otherwise ok. Complimentary water, coffee and tea in the room.
Breakfast is enough, but for 4 stars there could be more cheese. Unfortunately we had used the fruit, which was not fresh. My oranges were spoiled. I also indicated to the staff.
I think there is free parking good, but the gaps are small. There is also a lack of a pedestrian walk way out of the hotel grounds.
Overall, it makes a good impression, but I don't think 4 stars are worth it. Nevertheless, I can recommend it further.

Great hotel in Bochum, recommended.

1 night with breakfast we had booked. Rooms very clean, beds were very pleasant and not as well located as it is in many other hotels. The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast. Very simple. 1 type of cheese, Mettwurst, ham, etc. No salads. Little Variety.

Nice, professional and very busy staff. You can easily get the ordered room, in our case a smoking room, which is a big problem in other hotels. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Snacks, drinks and bath articles can be obtained at the reception. The breakfast is versatile and was delicious. By the way, the restaurant is also highly recommended. The fillet steaks and the wine were delicious. We were completely satisfied and would love to come back.

Were there for one night as we visited Starlight Express.
The food in the restaurant was not exactly cheap but delicious.
The rooms are great.
Only the distribution of smokers and non-smokers — rooms are unfavorable.
If you get out of the elevator, you first walk past the smoking rooms before you come to the non-smoking rooms.
Conversely, it might be better because the windows are at the end of the flight.

For a visit to the Starlight certainly the best choice — it is only a few steps from the hotel to the theatre. However, on Saturday also more than well filled — for the restaurant of the hotel obviously too high a requirement. Therefore: appear in time or even reserve space…

Everything nicely clean and tidy. Telekom Hotspot with good speed is Free. However, the prices in the restaurant are salted. For both drinks and food. The railing in the stairwell would be a little bit of colour.

Good location, clean and practical. Perfect for visiting Starlight Express aince it is next to the theater.

Be careful if you stay here I had items of jewellery stolen from my room. They were not left out, my belongings were gone through. I don't know what is worse the loss or the thought of someone having gone though my belongings. The loss was reported once I arrived home and realised they had been stolen and that I hadn't just left them at home as I thought at the time. The hotel won't do anything because they say I didn't report it at the time. I guess this means they aren't even investigating so please please be careful I won't want this to happen to anyone else.

I have stayed in this hotel many times over past 3 years as my son is in Starlight express, my experience has been consistent, warm friendly multi lingual staff, lovely rooms, relaxing and lots of options in restaurant would definitely recommend.

Good hotel, good sleep. Good breakfast. Open 24 hours. Close to theatre and other hotels.

Zimmer sind angenehm ausgestattet, das Frühstück ist üppig. Manchmal scheint das Bar/Restaurant-Personal überfordert, allerdings gibt es keine Probleme diesbezüglich. WLAN ist überall kostenfrei verfügbar.

Accommodation for visiting Starlight Express
Super friendly service, clean rooms,

We stayed at this hotel as we have looked at the Starlight Expreß. Since we had booked a super arrangement from the hotel, we were perfectly satisfied with everything. Especially the friendliness of the staff s is especially nice to assess. Breakfast was supper! The Hall of the Starlight Expreß is right next door. We paid 9 euro for a taxi to the city ride (one way).

Wir wollten schnell was essen, da wir zur vorstellung sollten. Kellner sehr nett, nobles Restaurant, tolles Essen, guter Preis!

All Super! You have the stadium and the musical Starlight Express on the doorstep. Just super!

We spent only one night there. But it was very nice. The staff was friendly, the rooms clean and nicely decorated and the food was very good. The beds could have been somewhat soft for lightweights. The connection to Starlight Express was super.

In the Starlight Express, we have lingering hotel with 9 people on Easter weekend at the Ramada. Representative for my group we were Sercvice, support at the on logon point, as well as restaurant with rooms and completely satisfied and can give a positive recommendation without any problems. Our special thank you to Mrs. Deva Turhan entire care on arrival at the restaurant and for interesting information, book suggestions, and dialogues. The Ramada is lucky to have such a highly motivated and friendly fellow in their services.

Is in a good location to the stadium and to the Starlight Express Theater! Rooms are also well-nice beds! You could be a bit nicer to be designed.

Everyone was very friendly and Attentive, even to children today, what is no longer obvious. The rooms were small but fine. Our desire two rooms with a connecting door was also taken into account. We will be happy to come back.

Were from 24.8. — 26.8. For the visit of the Starlight Express, a guest in this Hotel. The staff is very friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The Breakfast buffet for 15€ per Person is simply at the top. There is something for every taste. Only the prices in the Hotel Restaurant, I find a bit exaggerated! Would the Hotel in any case recommend. But for the food, one can also where else to go.

No idea if this Hotel underground dungeons with dumb staff has, in the you accidentally guests at home — otherwise, how come these negative assessments occur? We did have a great room, sufficiently large bathroom with tub (I'm 1, 84) and the Most important:a lively and very friendly staff and the price-performance ratio is o. K. By me 5

We were a group of about 50 people logged in. The Service was very good and accommodating. In the rooms, everything was tidy and nothing was broken. The location to the Starlight Express was also excellent, just like the food. Both Breakfast and dinner were of excellent quality and highly recommended. I would without a doubt go back to this Hotel book.

The staff at the Enpfang was a bit of a mess, they didn't know what documents you everything required by us, our drinks vouchers were not handed out, and the information that our room was not ready was more a little clumsy. Our room was very neat and clean. After we no bath towels is found to have brought us these without the circumstances immediately to the room. Upon arrival, we were of one and the Same person within 30 min 5 times welcomed, as if we were the first time around (thank you dear staff 2 times also would have passed). The Breakfast Buffet was sufficient and clear. On the Last evening we were still a little in the Bar drinking and the waiter in the us there served was incredibly accommodating and nice (This gentlemen we give you 10 points :D). The Ramadan Hotel Bochum was so by and Large Good and we would Recommend it and visit again.

Double room: 2 persons, 1 night, Purpose: Starlight Express Visit, Travelling was done by train and Taxi; We were completely satisfied and thank you for a pleasant stay. Parts of the hotel as well as staff were top. The Starlight Express Theater is located directly next to the Hotel, what a nice combination of bar/food and theatre.

We have them from 27.03. On the 28.03. Stayed the night. The reception was quite unfriendly when we 27.03 arrived. Included in the rooms it was okay, just had to durchgelüftet be because it is not very pleasant to smell. The Service in the Restaurant was okay, just a bit slow which made us very struck as we were about 30min on our ordered ice chocolate had to wait. Otherwise the Hotel is very convenient, right next to the Starlight Express hall. It only makes from the outside a help to adjust their brand impression, because the facade looks a bit battered. In the Hotel entrance, however it looks great.

Reception was very friendly, rooms well maintained and clean, a bit small but adequate, bathroom with bathtub, hair dryer, etc staff was courteous and friendly, only the Manager (in) felt it was not necessary for their criticism of the waiters so to give we an undisturbed stay. This unfortunately happened several times. Furthermore, the work of the information service via the TV is not! For me not important, however, to do this. I had the opportunity this announced at the reception Desk. It was during the entire stay not in order. Hotel and breakfast good. Sauna for 2 persons present (water dispenser was empty). Only the number of the lack of parking at the hotel was annoying, because these could be used free by the visitors of the Congress Hall. Existing barrier was not in use. Note of the reception: "arrive earlier or in the Starlight — paid parking". Well.

We were here one night for sleeping of Starlight Express. The hotel is not 100 metres away to the musical, which is already a great feature for this purpose. Although very hectic to there before and after the musical (we have eaten there in the evening and after the musical one more for the road) the staff was always friendly, well organized, and mad on Zack. Respect. The rooms are ok, wonderful beds. Bathroom is ok too, though I can never understand why you can build a unbenutzbare bath in a small bathroom (too small to swim, shower impractical). But ok. The dinner was great and the breakfast perfect. We were very happy, value for money is great and would book this hotel again at any time.

Absolutely top! was nothing to complain about! Service top notch, room good. The most impressed but the price-performance ratio! At any time.

I was a long weekend at the Ramada Hotel. Hotel met my needs completely. The rooms were clean and well maintained, if the establishment seems to be installed a few years. Positive noticed is that the rooms with bathtubs are equipped. The breakfast buffet was excellent quality and very rich. The staff from reception to room service was always friendly and behavior absolutely correct and courteous.
There are deductions for quite high prices in the hotel restaurant, as well as the absence of an outlet on the bedside table. Also, I expect free Wi-Fi today at a hotel in this price category. While there in the rooms, Wi-Fi a hotspot of Telekom, costs and expensive but for non customers of Telekom (9 ct per minute).
Unfortunately, the desire of a non-smoking room was not delivered with my booking. Since the hotel was fully booked when I arrived I was offered, to change the room, which I gratefully took advantage on the next day.
