The hotel is marked as a four-star accommodation has the fourth star but difinitive only because of its beautiful location. Equipment and service are at a 3-star level. The staff is friendly, but far from attentive or accommodating. The food in the restaurant is good – but you pay an extra fee if you want a different side dish. Breakfast is good but not up to standard. The outdoor area is "adorned" by large Bitburger umbrellas. Even for babies under one year of age you pay 11 euros per night, a side bed costs 35 euros. The Seehof has the charm of a youth hostel rather than that of a 4-star hotel. If you are willing to pay a lot of money for a beautiful view of the lake, you have come to the right place. Those expecting a modern, chic hotel should leave their fingers from this property.

I ordered the sheep's knee, stewed just fine, aroma overflowing! Worth coming to the restaurant! Unfortunately, there is no Wi-Fi, only to the hotel guests, restaurants do not have the means to use! Or you're going to order dessert and sit a little longer!

This is a fantastic hotel in a beautiful location. Very good food and drink served by happy friendly staff. The rooms are stunning, modern, clean with very good furnishings and facilities. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We were here for the 2nd time and found our first impression 100% confirmed. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the first place. Rarely experienced such a fantastic staff. Friendly, symphatic, competent. Very accommodating and helpful. Whether cleaning power, reception, service or kitchen. The room clean, the food sensational, service perfect. The atmosphere was harmonious, not least because the staff seems to understand each other very well. The wellness area is also great. The massages a pleasure. We certainly weren't there for the last time. Thank you very much.

The hotel is always overbooked and when you go there very few people lives and the receptionist is very impolite.

We were there for the second time now. We liked it very much.
We had booked the Karnvalspause and had a three-course meal in the evening. Everything was delicious.

The hotel is located in a beautiful setting, right on the Rurstausee. Facilities and hotel are clean and tasteful, the staff very friendly and accommodating. A tip: Enjoy your stay in the summer with a delicious wheat or cake on the large terrace.

The room was very large, a bit uncomfortable. Breakfast was solid but nothing special. Coffee specialties such as milk coffee or cappuccino should be paid extra. Don't go.

Pity it was bad, I could not enjoy the view…

Nice hotel in a superb environment. Very good breakfast, but ask for a real coffee, not the one they serve. Only one other restaurant nearby (but closed), 5' drive to Heimbach for other and good restaurants with better price. Service was not always ok.

Great Location, very picturesque. Contemporary hotel with spacious comfortable rooms. Our unfortunately overlooked the large municipal csr park. A lake view with balcony would have been terrific. Health spa, compact but nice enough, usual German dilemma about swim suits or not. Restaurant overlooking lake with nice food, plentiful but limited menu. Staff a bit miserable. Bit hard to find and then hard to find entrance. You have to go into the large municioal car park and they give you a ticket for exit. Overall a reasonsble stop ovet, they just need to smile a bit.

We loved this Hotel The room was of a very good standard and the cleanliness and fitting where first class. All of the staff are helpful and always have a smile and a greeting for you whenever you met. The breakfast was excellent, my only disappointment was that Salmon was only served at breakfast at the weekend. It would have been nice to have an english speaking TV channel but that was not a major issue for us. We stayed for 5 nights and I was sad to leave to return home but did so well rested and happy. i will certainly consider this hotel again and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends.

Attention is here! The restaurant is very strange built next to the Bistro (smooth transition), you have to watch here exactly where you sit down! The menu is somewhat poorly equipped in the restaurant, there is also little serving for much money.

Hotel was very clean and rooms were well appointed. Facilities were excellent and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Ask for a lake view otherwise it is will probably be a view of the car park but it was not an issue. The outside space was pleasant and gave excellent access to the lake.

Super hotel.
Is nothing to complain about and the staff is just the hammer. Had a lot of fun and the inclusive services justify the higher price.

Here everything is right. By the friendly reception at the reception the modern well-equipped rooms up to the good food in the restaurant (including buffet breakfast) you can only praise the staff very friendly, helpful and competent. Here it comes (back).

Very nice, upscale hotel with great views of the Rursee. The whole hotel is very modern in décor and design and is professionally done. Booking and settlement on the spot are straightforward.
The prices are rather high, but reasonable.

Very nice seeterasse. Cake and coffee at the SB switch. Hot food not so good. Prices are OK and are wheelchair accessible. Very good Parking with barrier. Price 2.50 Euro for 2 hrs. A lot of nature to chill out and Hiking. Ruhrseeschifffahrt possible price great tour 4 hrs. Approximately 19.00 euro.

We have, in the context of a birthday party the Seehof as accommodation chosen and were with all very satisfied.

Excellent hotel. From outside it looks quite plain, but inside it is designed very well. We had a suite, which was excellent. There was a TV in the living room and the bedroom, so we could put our baby daugter's cot in the living room and still watch TV in the bedroom. Heating and insulation is excellent, the interior materials and colors create a peaceful atmosphere (the photos on the website don't do it justice). Very good sauna and hammam, with bathrobes, towels, lounge chairs, magazines and water provided (included in the room price). Great restaurant with good childrens menu, not the usual fries and meatballs. Breakfast also included in room price, abundant. Everything is very clean. One of the rare hotels I could think going back to. To explore the surroundings in summer, after a snowy Easter trip we just had.
