Best hotel I have seen very friendly staff and very helpful. The room was very clean, for the price simply great!
Sufficient breakfast and very tasty again and again happy with:)

If you're looking to stay at the rudest place in Düsseldorf, stay at Hotel Famosa. If not, look somewhere else. I've just read the rudest of emails they sent to my already upset friend and I'm in shock. Please do yourself a favour and avoid this place. They called her cheap after taking over 150 euros for a booking which she previously informed them several times she couldn't fulfil for serious personal reasons, to which they never replied. They told her she's on the Black list! Really? Are we back to Nazi Germany? It seems so with Hotel Famosa. Perhaps we should make the email public for everyone to see how these people treat their customers. There are ways of dealing with things, and this is most certainly not the way, I will be informing others too, together we will be changing the inaccurate rating of this hotel. It has now become a matter of principle!

Disgusting. How can they run a hotel, charge you a fortune for NOTHING when they can't even be bothered to reply to emails!?, I've been dealing with a personal tragedy that made me change my travelling plans, and had to email the hotel a couple of times regarding the situation. No reply, nothing at all for days, still nothing now! How is this even possible in this day and age? How inconsiderate! I wouldn't recommend at any point staying at this hotel. I've travelled the world and I am yet to find a place that has handled me as rudely as this… I don't know where the arrogance of their staff is coming from, surely it's not coming from top-notch customer service. Others have mentioned in their reviews it was a filthy place, but I decided to give the place the benefit of the doubt, never expecting such lack of manners. This was the last thing I needed to deal with during these troubling times of my life. Disappointing.

Nice and comfy room, close to city center. A bit hard to find a parking spot nearby though, but lots of places to eat.

The Elevator start from the half of each ground… seems to be a joke. We pay 7€ for a really poor breakfast. The location of the Hotel is at the center of the Bronx of dussendorf.

It was ever clean and very comfortable, famosa's reception was a gentleman and all personnels were kindly behavior.

Its in a decent area. By the city center and the area is very diverse and different cultures areas around. People are loud in the middle of the night and I didn't mind it. I wouldnt recommend go to hotel unless you short on cash because its a good price but you get what you pay for. Very rude and unprofessional staff. Based on the other reviews other people said they were nice. Not to me or my guest. Ill start off with a list. 1. My guest came and they said they had to pay to stay there. I said that was fine. I paid €25 euro and I was fine with that. What they didn't tell us was it was €25 euro per day. We were getting ready for the day the next day and they were calling us multiple times to pay the money and they were rushing us. I didn't like that. I paid after I got ready and went on my business. Also to mention it wasn't put in the system that my guest was here which cause more problems. 2. We have to turn in the key everytime I leave the establishment. I needed to run to my car real quick to get something in which I didnt park far at all. The guy who was working the front was incredibly diffic.

Small but cosy hotel not far from the train station. Clean room, 24h Concierge and breakfast was also good. To recommend for the price.

For one night ok. Not the calmest house. Otherwise nice and clean.

It was a very bad experience, a rude reception, very small unclean room with no bathroom, and it's next to a main road, u can't even sleep from the noise of the tram. It's more like a prison than a hotel. I will never go there again.

We had a small but very clean and quiet room on the first floor.
We have heard nothing from the road.
Despite begun walls and soft mattress, you could have a good night's sleep.
The breakfast was ok, a selection of fruit and cold cuts and drinks were available.
Even for cereal lovers was what.
Great, I took the opportunity also to be able to toast the bread.
For a weekend, I would book here again.
