Fantastic hotel. Really great service. They were able to help with multiple special requests. We were in Cologne for a music festival and the hotel was full of people but still very quiet and comfortable. Bed was softer and nicer than I expected! Definitely stay here if you don't mind a walk into town or using the train. It is a little out of the way but felt very safe. Recommended! Get the breakfast too!

Stayed here for 3 nights on business. Well located for the nearby exhibition centre and under 15 minutes by taxi from the central railway station. It is walkable but perhaps not with bags. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Fine for a few nights as space for hanging and storing clothes is limited. I ate dinner in the restaurant a couple of times and food was good, if not gourmet but you wouldn't expect that in a hotel like this. If you're used to full English breakfast in hotels breakfast would be disappointing. However, a good spread of perfectly adequate, and healthier, options for continental breakfasts are on offer.

I went to Cologne first, and I am very satisfied! Hotel Ibis offers a quiet night, for a small price. Breakfast was very good there, for many things and different tastes.

Reasonable place for business trip. The location is quite convinient, not so far from Koelne Messe Detuz and from Main Train Station, DOM and etc. — all just in walking distance. Unfortunately lack of amenities in the standard room, no coffee and no tea maker.

The hotel has a good location right next to the fair. The room was ok, sour and the staff were very friendly. I have stayed here several times and was always satisfied.

I was staying here for one night for business, and the hotel suited my needs perfectly. Everything was clean and well presented, the room was large enough and even had a desk, and the restaurant served an excellent chicken salad.

Good hotel. Very nice and clean, as well as spacious rooms. Whole hotel makes a neat and clean impression. Breakfast buffet is as far as I'm okay.

Excellent hotel, com all the services that may be required, very good location, very clean, excellent attention both in the. Check-in, in summary an excellent option to stay in Cologne Germany.

Price to recommend even during trade shows, unfortunately somewhat used. Much worn out which would be quickly fixed, carpets partially too spotty. But recommended for a few nights.

For an overnight stay okay. Room passable. A little minimalist. Keep it functional. Bed a little hard. Breakfast adequate. Only for overnight stay it is quite sufficient.

Standard IBIS rooms. Quiet, great location for the trade fair. Clean rooms. Enough towels. Heating had broken when I was there which could have been a problem for some. Cheap hotel for German city standards. Breakfast looked decent and German, cold meats, cheese and bread. Staff were not the friendliest from the hotels that I have been too and not as knowledgable as I would have expected.

Short distances to the fair Cologne and also to the railway station Messe/Deutz Fußläuflig to reach. Rooms are clean and functional as one knows it from Ibis. The food in the restaurant could be better though. And also a larger choice of food would be great, because after a week you have eaten everything before.

A horrible place. The rooms have a plastic wet room. The duvet is too big and too heavy. The key system with RFID card does not work. Each day the card had to be reconfigured.
The Ibis Kitchen Restaurant is also below average. The dishes were not cleared at breakfast. The scrambled eggs cold. The coffee machine is out of service. The dinner uneventful. All for 119 euros. In summer the campsite is preferred.

Because of my work I spent a night at the Ibis Köln Fair. Unfortunately, my room was small and dark. Also the bathroom was anything but clean and mint. Next time you prefer somewhere else!

The hotel itself was good. On the Internet, however, it was said that there would be parking spaces. At the reception we were told that there were 3 pieces in front of the hotel and otherwise we should park for 4, 20 €/hour on parking spaces of the city of Cologne. When we looked, we noticed that the parking lots of cologne are not so expensive and we can park for €4 a full day. In the hotel elevator was then at the signage of floor — 1 "underground garage, visitor parking" so much to there would be no parking spaces.
The rooms were very well maintained and the bathroom, above all the shower was really great.

Very friendly home. All staff are listening to enquiries. Very good for coach parking with a group. Clean comfort well.

The hotel is in itself clean. The staff friendly. The walls are a little thin and the room cards are supposedly defective in phone contact. The bathroom was a bit disappointing since it is a prehistoric plastic cabin. This hotel is not luxurious but suitable for overnight stays for the fair or cologne.

Great The IBIS budget! Rooms are OK and breakfast is also great! There is even gluten-free bread for gluten allergy sufferers!

The restaurant staff was always very friendly and helpful. The parking fees for the underground car park are also okay as you get to the hotel with dry feet.
The negative: However, the reception staff was rude, arrogant and lustless. The word hospitality does not seem to be in the vocabulary. The rooms are tiny and have a bathroom made of fiberglass and plastic, reminiscent of a wet room of a motorhome from the 1980s with an improvement in cleanliness, the noises of the other hotel guests next door and in the hallways are very clear to Listen — ergo, for epfindliche people with a light sleep, earplugs are recommended, the TV — reception is also a bit poor, the WLAN requires a lot of personal data and it is not clear how the data is handled. The lunch dishes are also more reminiscent of Tk — ware.
Conclusion: All in all, an overnight price of 99, — € in my opinion is extremely exaggerated. But my star is going to the restaurant staff, this is supposed to keep on its very positive attitude to the guests absolutely!

As far as the standards corresponding ibis. Staff very friendly. Only the security service is not entirely familiar with the reception procedures at night.

Standard ibid hotel you always know what you are getting when staying here. Great transport links close to the arena and trade centre. One stop of the S bahn to the Cathedral or tram takes you to neumarkt in the centre. Staff friendly and helpful.

Room is a bit small, and little bit stuffy. However when we consider the cost, it's acceptable. Restaurant was quite expensive than other restaurant, and food is good.

I can only say the same thing as usual. It was once again great and I'm looking forward to the next stay.

Condition of the room insufficient. Clean. No TV reception. Hardly any light. Beds move apart in the double room during sleep. No sockets on the bed. Breakfast and restaurant OK. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Good place to stay, if you are here for a convention at Köln Messe. Very close by and quite inexpensive. It is clean and enough room for two. Breakfast is totally fine with a cute waffle bar, where you can make your own waffles. Don't expect any luxury here, for that choose the nearby Radisson Blu for example.

Can't beat the IBIS formula at this price. The rooms are clean and spacious, although it would be nice if there were bigger beds as an option. Breakfast is great, with a nice mix of options. Parking prices are good (8 euro for 24 hrs).

Value for money is okay, there's better, equally viable options in cologne.

Great location for the fair is also to go downtown.

Hotel outside the center of Cologne but with easy access. Perfect room and small restoration very correct.

We went one night to be close to the Lanxess Arena. Convenient to get there in 15 min walk. The room was fine. On the other hand, the staff was unable to give us information about what might be interesting to see or do in the city. Parking costs €4 for one day.

Everything was clean everything in the top state conclusion again and again if I even woeder in Köln am.

It was very clean and modern. Breakfast quite varied. Convenient location for the fair and access to the city center. The bathroom is a bit sacrificed but with a comfortable shower (it is the classic prefabricated bathroom typical of many ibises).

The shower is not insulated: single cabin inside the room. Minimal equipment, even for the low price.

Good for the price. Clean and modern.
