Staff very friendly and accommodating.

The breakfast buffet very large with a lot of choice of delicious food, very nice and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms. The only negative point is the too small TV for the large room but otherwise top and definitely recommended.

Super Hotel directly at the fair in Cologne. The rooms very clean and spacious. Very polite and courteous staff. The service is super friendly. The conference room is very large but also divisible.
Breakfast is fun for the day and there is also a large underground car park.

TOP Hotel, super friendly staff, always has an open ear for the guest, whether you are doing a meeting there or just one night there, you always feel very warmly received and also a piece at home. Also the large selection at breakfast is simply fantastic and I can only encourage everyone. If you are looking for something special in Cologne, you are at the right address incl. A TOP management team. Keep it up!

The room and the staff were very good. The lunch Buffett was just average. On Friday, the food was already cold. The selection was moderate. Unfortunately I had no time for the Fitness and Wellness area. A 3.5 in stars.

A nice hotel in cologne, public transport is very easily accessible, and if you plan to go to the lanxess arena it's probably the best place to stay. The breakfast is buffet style and offers something for everyone. The only thing I would like the hotel to change is to allow the restaurant to be open later. Overall a very good hotel and I had a great stay.

Very good location, right across the street from Koelnmesse expo complex. The building has a nice contemporary design, the rooms are fairly spacious and clean. They provide climate control. The TV are on the budget size, so are bathroom consumables. No robes and slippers provided. The rooms have a safe box but can be locked with a credit/debit card (using the magnetic strip). It wouldn't be a problem if the way is positioned in the furniture would allow a proper swipe through the reader which kind of doesn't. The room also has a mini fridge. The bathroom has a hairdryer. The body gel/shampoo is in a special container which has to be… squeezed to release its contents. The elevator doesn't require the use of room key card, so the upper floors are easily accessible for non staying guests. Overall the hotel offers a good value.

Really a hotel to recommend for both business (Koln Exhibition Centre across the street) and leisure. Very good breakfast with big varieties. The Wellness facility, superb!

Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Fixtures were relatively new, and the staff were excellent. Breakfast was well beyond any expectations I could have had. I was there because of a cancelled flight, and the staff did well to explain everything I needed. The dinner that I had a voucher for was only for a select few items off of a special menu.

Good reception, nice clean room and very good breakfast. Very limited TV channels and what about your parking? A hotel parking shouldn’t be that expensive. A shame because everything else was good.

Well, so, they have a mouse running around where they have breakfast, well, the rooms so so. It's not worth it.

The hotel is perfectly located near a tram station. The room is spacious and neat. Breakfast was fantastic. The only minus is the air conditioning that was defective during our stay on very hot days.

Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Ausstattung ist wirklich top und alles ist sehr gepflegt. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr reichhaltig und der Eingang befindet sich direkt gegenüber vom Messeeingang Ost und der Bahnhaltestelle, daher ist die Lage absolut Top. Der Spabereich ist sehr gepflegt und lange genug geöffnet um nach einem stressigen Messetag noch ein paar Bahnen im Pool zu ziehen oder sich ein wenig runterzufahren. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Unsere Gruppe wurde als jährlich wiederkehrende Gäste erkannt und auch als solche Wert geschätzt. Das Essen im Hotel eigenen Restaurant war wieder genial. Eine schöne Auswahl an traditionellen deutschen Gerichten und internationalen Spezialitäten.

Located right next to the fairgrounds, there's not much going on in the immediate vicinity, but you're quickly on the "right" side of the Rhine. Rooms are fine, though by now not quite as new. Breakfast is excellent. The service is friendly.

The staff are very helpful, but in some areas unorganized and chaotic.
The furniture in the restaurant is partially damaged, so that there is also a risk of injury.
The hotel is far too warm in all rooms and the staff are just clueless about not having to solve this theme.
The rooms are fine. Good middle level. Showers in the bathtub?
It also seems very strange that a mini-bar is installed, but it is empty.
If the sauna is used, an additional room fee of 5, — € is added.
I find it very small. Either free of charge or a sensible sauna area and then you are also happy to pay a higher fee.
The only thing that speaks in Cologne for this hotel is the location opposite the fair, provided you visit them.

Clean rooms-unfortunately with carpeted flooring and therefore rather unhygienic but in order. The spa area is great. The massages also. Sauna and steam bath are very nicely designed and with friendly staff! The breakfast was plentiful and delicious!

Our room was unfortunately very small and a little dusty at different corners, which did not affect the stay.

Advice and service = very bad/rude and stubborn attention! Discussed offers are not valid at check-in! We were there the last time!
I have booked this hotel for my wife and her girlfriend as a gift, but the telephone consultation is disastrous. When the confirmation was sent to me, I had a demand for the bill and a price was confirmed by phone. This was not the case when checking in! Although my question was sent by mail and the time when the phone was used, the hotel did not move a step towards the customer. In the end it sounded rather as if my statement was not true, a demand at the then counsel was not possible, of course, because the lady was not in the house… What a coincidence.
I can only advise anyone of such a hotel. There are clearly more customer-friendly hotels (e. G. Palais…)

One of the hotels that have really earned their four stars. Everything is right here: the rooms are very spacious, the beds are comfortable and the service is first class. The breakfast buffet is gigantic. The only downside is the noisy acoustics in the breakfast room, the room is huge and with full cast unfortunately very restless and noisy. Tip: Let room to the inner courtyard.

Perfect place to spend the night while waiting for a connecting flight. Perfect friendly service from reception staff and waiters. It really was just right!

Very friendly staff. Cosy and clean rooms with individual air conditioning. Nevertheless, the windows can be opened. Very good breakfast. I have been a guest for many years.

Nice and clean rooms, breakfast was included and really good, included a lot of different options. The staff was friendly across the board. Hotel is located right next to a train station which gets you to the main train station in 5 minutes.

Was disappointed by all measures. Had received a 120 Euro voucher from my girlfriend's mother, which we wanted to use in the bar and wellness area. First we had to realize that the bar was completely closed (every 5 days) and we had to go to the restaurant where the drinks were not even half as big. When we asked at the reception, no one could give us an answer when it would open. For three days in a row, there was not a single employee in the welns sedan. It was also only on site that we learned that there were no free dates for a Measure or A. For the whole week. In addition, there are problems such as a basin that is far too cold. Lack of service. (Only after a call at the reception was the steam bath switched on and water buckets were filled in the sauna area. ) In addition, there is a much overpriced car park. Definitely advise anyone not to book this hotel. Outrageous for a 4 star hotel.

Perfect place to rest and relax. The rooms are quite spacious and well insulated. Breakfast Fitness room and spa really very clean (saunas, hammam and swimming pool).
Hotel located in front of the tram. Take tram number 3 or 4 to go to the old town at 3 stations after.

By the name of Dorint one thinks of very good upscale and well maintained hotels. Unfortunately, this hotel cannot do justice to this claim — at least in our experience with room 459.
Furniture or interiors are in a worn out condition, the floor in the bathroom is very spotty, water temperature is really very changing and anything but constant, used glasses were not renewed by room service etc.
We could not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Typical buisness hotel, directly opposite to the Kölnmesse. Comfortable rooms and extensive continental breakfast, also indoor spa facilities are available, not used by us. With a 250m walk to the Fritz bahnhof you have a direct connection to the HBF every 10 minutes.

It's a lovely hotel in a fabulous location. The staff are all really lovely. Amazing spa and excellent prices on treatments. Free drinks of you conserve environment and skip room cleaning. Comfortable beds but room temp was too hot even with temp turned down on thermostat. The pool water is a bit cold for my liking. The food at the restaurant is good but not up to the standard you're charged and it took a long time to have our order taken and then be served and then clean-up to get the bill. A really long process that cost much more than it was worth. But staying for the hotel itself was fantastic.

Great hotel, very clean and well presented. The staff are very polite and helpful. Breakfast is very wide ranging with options for every style of breakfast I can imagine. Brilliantly located for the Christmas markets, and for the train station which is three stops from the Köln Bonn airport. A lovely stay and will certainly stay again the next time I'm in Cologne.

I liked the lighting in the room and carpeting, the presence of a boiler with drinks hidden in the cupboard. Upset the dirty floor in the small bathroom with the hair of the former tenants.

The staff were very helpful, the room was very clean, the breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There were also significant organisational problems with table assignments and Service.

Stay with friends at the Dorint Hotel. Good location The hotel is well located (tram stop right in front) and the city centre is easily accessible (+ — 15 minutes). The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast buffet huge!

The Bears Hannes-Paul and Georges-Lui were guests for a concert by Ina Müller from Friday to Sunday in the Dorint Köln opposite the fair.
The location of the hotel is top. As mentioned above directly opposite the Messe Köln. The Lanxess arena can be reached either by just one S-Bahn station (stops directly in front of the hotel) or on foot in 500 m. To the inner city (Cologne Cathedral) it is in the same direction only four more stations.
We were fortunate to upgrade to a suite. In the bathroom is more than space. In the separate living room there are two armchairs with 2-seater couch and footstool. An elegant desk and television. Also kept very generous. As usual coffee and tea included in the room free of charge. There is also a TV in the spacious bedroom. Everything TipTop clean. We found mattresses to be very comfortable and pleasant, knowing that this assessment can always be subjective. The breakfast is the hammer. Everything your heart desires. Fruit, vegetables, fresh buns, baguette, bread, eggs in all variants, bacon, sausages, yogurt, freshly squeezed o-juice, sausage, cheese, ham and… it's impossible to enumerate everything. Friendly and attentive staff.

If you get an upgrade, actually five stars. If not, then rather three, therefore on average four. Unbeatable location to the fair, but then prices beyond the border to insolence. But this is also the case for the worse situated hotels. That's why you're still in good hands here.

Lovely hotel. We liked the gym and the spa, the suite on 2 floors.

I chose to stay at this hotel because of its 4-Star rating. However, I am very disappointed with my experience here. I checked in on the 6th October 2017. In the morning of 7th October, my mother left 10, 000 Thai Baht (10 Bank notes of 1, 000 Thai Baht) in a small bag. This small bag was put into a luggage in my room. My mother forgot to lock up the luggage. At 9.30pm when I came back to the room, I found that there was only one 1, 000 Thai Baht note left in the bag. I rushed …to the lobby to tell a hotel staff about this. The staff said that she will tell the assistant housekeeper to speak to the housekeeper who cleaned my room during the day to ask about the loss. I was told to speak to the lobby staff again in the morning to follow up. So this morning, I went to the lobby to follow up again, but the answer I got was that the housekeeper did not touch my luggage. The lobby staff continued to say that they cannot do anything about the loss, because the housekeeper had said that she didn’t steal the money. All I was given was the name card of the hotel manager, and was told to contact again about this the next day. I am very disappointed that a hotel that’s meant to have very high standards is taking very little responsibility for this matter, and choosing to listen to what the housekeeper has said, instead of doing all they can to help its guest. This reflects a very poor level of service of the hotel.

Nice hotel. I can recommend. They let us stay a bit longer then check in. The breakfast was in high quality and diverse style. At dinner you can choose from 3 different meals but don't expect some large menu with many steps. You get bread and herbs butter for a starter. The wellness area was ok, 2 saunas with different temperatures, steam sauna and relaxation room. The swimming pool was a bit cold. I was surprised at the well equipped gym, only a trapeze and a shaft with disks were missing.

Nice hotel, just across the street from the Messe /Conference Center. It does have AC which was a nice bonus. Everything is still in new condition although they chose shag carpet throughout which I find odd. It's an easy 20-25 min walk across the bridge (with the love locks) to reach the Dom and main square. The hotel has a restaurant and bar but that's about it for the neighborhood. We walked across to the Dom for breakfast and meals. There's also several bakeries in the town past the event center to the south about 15min walk. The hotel is very convenient to Köln Messe-Doitz station which is a stop before the Köln Main HbF coming from the airport. You can walk to the station in less than 10 minutes. The room had a mini fridge which was nice for keeping drinks and cheese cold for sandwiches :)

Clean, tidy, attentive reception and Cortesissima. Great rooms.

The entrance to the hotel is slightly confusion as there is a double doors and the actual entrance is after the aforementioned doors. Furthermore the internet is amazing and the location is close to the convention center make it practical for attending conventions. The rooms are very comfortable and there are lots of services Available.

Very nice hotel close to a tram stop (10 meters). Little advice, possibility to park in the street behind the hotel (meter to €4 a day). Swimming pool very cold as not heated, but Spa area and fitness very clean and well maintained. Impressive breakfast at the choice level, but cost in addition to €26 unless included in your package with the room. Well-insulated and air-conditioned room with TV channels in different languages including French.

Very professional. The rooms are very clean and big. Breakfast is free and pretty decent. The bathrooms are clean but can't be locked, which wasn't a problem for us. The beds are very comfortable. In every room is an air conditioner.

Good hotel in Cologne. A 2 steps from the Mass (Congress Center). Good restaurant.

Nice big rooms and clean. Unfortunately the receptions are quickly overwhelmed if there's a request outside of checking in. The this staff issue continues in the hotel bar with inattentive waiters and bartenders who rather serve guests they know then a stranger. Also the pool was out of order, no big deal but sad given that it was really hot that day.

No one speaks French. … very expensive. … and naturist Spa. … person completely naked right next to the pool or it finds children. … no Jacuzi.

The bed is very comfortable, the breakfast is pretty full. It has the U-Bahn and S-Bahn very close to G go to downtown or airport.

Excellent hotel, good size room and excellent bedding. The Spa area is superb, only downside, the pool water a little cold. The service is amiable, without being very demonstrative (to the German I would say).
The brewery is a bit expensive but very nice.

From the main train station, the hotel is easily accessible, and are on-site meeting rooms in very good condition. The hotel restaurant offers hearty meals, especially after local nature, and a great selection of steaks.

You can only recommend and for the price in structure.

It is not to related one of the most beautiful hotel discounts, but surely. And after a one long day freud exhibition is right it's next to the trade fair. All in all top hotel. Parking prices are unfortunately high but normal for Cologne conditions.

We had booked a spa day at the Dorint Hotel. At the reception and in the spa area we were rather not so kindly welcomed. You had to give deposit per key €20, which is quite a lot. The coffee scrub was very nice and relaxing. Later, the staff at the SPA was also markedly more friendly area. Since we were on a holiday there, little staff there was. The sauna area and also the outdoor lighting was during the 3 — sinful stay not cleaned. There are 3 saunas to choose which were very pleasant. The rest area was nice and you could be out. It is not recommended for the value for money.

We have stayed at the September 2015 at the Dorint. As an event agency and service provider we come often later in the hotel. The service was awesome. After a photo shoot with our DeLorean, an underground car park was very important us.
The TG is ok. The very central location, the breakfast and the price are particularly noteworthy. We recommend this House.
