Centrally located, 5 min from Hauptbahnhof/U Bahn. Decent breakfast for great price. Helpful, friendly staff. Room cleaned daily. Quiet and comfortable stay at a great rate.

A small, but ideally placed hotel, no more than five minutes walk from Cologne Station, clean rooms, but not all en suite. Decent breakfast provided for an extra six euros per person I shall use again, when I am next in Cologne.

Impeccable service, a bit ' old-time but still efficient for short/very short stays. Excellent location.

Hotel close to the station open 24/7 very comfortable friendly and helpful staff. The only drawback is the shared bathroom along with the other people the bathroom is in the hallway. Clean room bed very Como breakfast 6 euro I do not have Bligatoria buffet do 3 stars for the bathroom and because I was on the top floor and the hotel does not have the elevator and with a suitcase of 20 kg it is not nice to climb 3 floors.

I stayed here with two of my friends and we came and went all day with my two other friends. We were stopped by the doorman at 3 am and were told that we had too many people for our room even though all three of us had been walking past him all day. The man was rude the entire time and would not even allow us to be in our room by ourselves for more than 10 minutes to figure out what we were going to do. Continuing with his attitude he told us there was nothing he could do nor could he switch my charge to a single because my friends had to go stay somewhere else. They ended up going next door and staying at a way better hotel for even cheaper. I will never stay here again and sorry to the owners but I can not recommend anyone stays at this place again given my experience.

I often accommodated friends of ours there, and they were always very satisfied. Quiet, central location, low prices, ideal for price-conscious guests!

Convenient payment at the facility, very friendly and helpful staff and ideal location for travelers as it is 5 minutes from the station. The property is dated and not very clean, the carpeting in the room smelled a bit of smoke and the small shared bathroom was at the bare minimum. All in all we were fine.

Location of the hotel is great. In our room, however, was mold and the bathroom is extremely small. Friendly and courteous staff and breakfast are positive points to mention. All in all, the price of the offer/service was too high.

Old shabby hotel, no elevator, many rooms can be smoked.

Small room, however has good location. It is 2start hotel, but is very expensive during busy times. It can be used, when there are no other options.

I've got cheap rooms for me and my friends but because they were to cheap they cancelled my reservations so they can offer them in higher prices There was no reason to cancel.

The Hotel Berg is an absolutely vile Flophouse. Completely run-down and extremely rude staff. And my reservation using the hotel reservation. De was punished, by I also have a Smoking room in the first floor (without Elevator! ) changes got.

Hello folks, the Hotel Berg in Cologne is a disaster. The Hygiene (mold in the shower, enormous Staubelastung, vertrocknetes "Buffet") only provides a staggering fact. The loud rudeness of the staff spoils sometimes the "Cologne Trip". I can in good conscience NOT the overpriced visit to this so called "Hotel" is recommended. The sham of 2012 for me personally. My tip: be sure to avoid! lgd.
