Unfriendly staff at the reception, bathroom dirty, cleaning staff was made aware of this and reacted very outrageously, can only advise against this hotel.

Large room, but places in noisy work and room with little modern rdc. Doors slamming! The curtains are not even installed properly we see outside! I don't recommend expensive night and really not great! Ritual products raise the grade! There is only one large towel in the room and only one small one! No sheets and a tiny blanket! It's still November! Disappointed!

Impudence. About booking. Com booked and paid for, and then the room cancelled, because you have forgotten that fair and you can ask for the room more.

The rooms are nice and big, in the top floors you can see partially the Cologne Cathedral. The location is perfect.

The hotel can be recommended, the staff is very friendly. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Not far from Cologne Cathedral and the main train station.

Never again, at almost 40 degrees defective air conditioning, which did not interest any of the employees. Partly very unclean. Colleague had 3 days no warm water, saying from the lady of the house "is my problem. Breakfast from 7:00?, 6:55 was the scrambled egg all and the cheap baked rubber rolls were heavy in the stomach. Staff partly unfriendly and annoyed. The vehicle in the parking lot totally dirty,
Parking is actually a construction site and for this you still charge 19 euros per day. Also no discount for the defective air conditioning although specially booked with air conditioning.
Conclusion : Dear people avoids this hotel is a case for the hotel association and the hygiene office Cologne.

Room extremely hot with no air conditioner and musty smell. Had to keep the door open for most of time for some relief. Staff are extremely unhelpful and unfriendly. Carpets are filthy and elevator is suspect. Parking is non-existent or expensive. And incessant noise from construction next door. Very very disappointing.

A terrible experience! On our arrival the room was not ready. We were woken up at 7am by the incessant and loud noise coming from the construction site behind the hotel. Customer service was very poor – some of the staff were extremely rude and unable to deal with problems. It was impossible to speak directly to the manager so we emailed him (three times! ). He never got back to us. Last but not least, there was no Internet connection. Our stay was so unpleasant that we checked out after our first night and booked in another hotel.

There is a large construction site behind the hotel where they are building an extension to the hotel. We weren’t given any warning of this. Hopefully you won’t be woken up with the sound of hammers and drilling at 0700. I stayed for one night and that was enough. The air conditioning didn’t really work and was very loud and kept turning itself on despite switching it off. The Wi-Fi doesn’t work. Some of the staff are very rude. Go somewhere else!

Rooms are good, unfortunately a too small TV in the room. For this the bed super cozy and the bathroom nice bright. Another plus point is the beautiful large shower. A star deduction is available for breakfast. Unfortunately, there was not so much choice. But all in all a great hotel.

Rooms at the 3rd FLOOR was nice and clean. Breakfast was a bit manageable. Location near the Train station but on a Side Street. Staff very friendly.

Zimmer was OK. Rather on the small side. Carpet could have tolerated cleaning. Unfortunately, only on one side of the bed a shelf.

Lots of construction inside and outside, and parking was ambiguous until we talked to a front desk person. But our rooms were nice and renovated, and breakfast bar was pretty good.

The room was ok. The breakfast room was far too small for the number of guests and the host of the guests by the existing staff (despite great efforts) could not be achieved!
The parking fee is 18, €95million per day, with the car parked in an outbuilding (shell). This fee is, in my opinion, not appropriate and far too expensive!
All in all, it is a good offer and a centrally located hotel, whose staff are trying very hard. It is a great pity that the hotel is currently more or less a single construction site (new building — annex).

Rooms are very different. Staff friendly and the food was good. Katzenjwe to the train station and the city. Zuglärm is barely noticeable in the evening.

Is very convenient to the train station. Quiet area. Near one of the oldest churches in Cologne. Got a wonderful room overlooking the patio. Clean. Staff is motivated. Breakfast is plentiful and tasty. For a city hotel without any unnecessary spa, gyms and restaurants excellent.

There was not much to complain about, I was only here one night.
The room was clean but not too large and the bed in the single room also small.
But otherwise OK, small bottle of water for free and enough bath accessories.

Friendly staff, nice rooms. Why only 4 stars? For a 3½ star Hotel I expect a better Internet connection and don't want to pay money for it. If I want to do better. The bathrooms could be a little cleaner.

Bright friendly hotel with beautifully designed rooms in the middle of Cologne, the staff is very friendly, unfortunately the hotel does not have a restaurant (only snacks), but in the area there are plenty of local.

My personal assessment: bad. Creepy. Disgusting room. How nasty is this rug? Luckily the room is so small — otherwise there would be more carpet there. I'm keeping the shoes on. No stars, unfortunately. There are really many cheap good hotels in Cologne.

Very nice hotel in a central location. I would give the hotel a star more smoothly. The rooms are stylishly decorated, very clean and offer ample space. We were greeted warmly. Great value for money.

It is the perfect place to spend a few days, close to the city center and the central station. Very clean and with an excellent customer.

"Room with a view of the hotel" — false indication. I look at an apparent permanent construction site in the backyard of the hotel. The request for a bathtub was expressed at the booking. Still only a shower. In addition, my room is on the ground floor. And I'm going to have to stand there for seven days.

I can recommend the Hotel only, cheap, nice Service, gladly again! Very friendly reception, very good location, nice furnished rooms, acceptable price/performance ratio. Despite an impressive construction site directly in front of the door very quiet. I will book again on occasion.

A terrible experience in this hotel. We booked a room for three people but when we arrived they told us their rooms were overbooked so they gave us two rooms instead. When we told them we didn't want stay in two rooms the stuff with a very bad attitude to reply "they couldn't do anything else. " This hotel made a really big mistake "overbooked" and more over the stuff working at this hotel was so rude and impolite. We didn't enjoy anything at this hotel.

Pleasant for people travelling on a budget! Rooms were very clean and staff were friendly! Strange smell in the room though?!

Charming, and cozy, struck me as a hotel with female guests particularly catered to, and nothing wrong with that! The hall carpet was a bit worn, but the carpet guy was measuring it up while I was there, so soon it will be near perfect, the safe neighbhoid ranges from working class to gentrification down near the old city gate, a short walk away. The main station was also an easy walk, I was sorry to leave after five comfortable nights!

Totally unacceptable level of service. We booked the room 2.5 months in advance with an extra comment that we will be arriving late, around midnight. As we arrived to the hotel we were (not) greeted by a receptionist who found our booking and asked us to wait for a while. After a while we became suspicious there is a problem and after 45 minutes the receptionist admitted that they had overbooked the hotel and did not have a room for us for the night and are looking for alternative hotels. After waiting for another 45 minutes, a taxi came and took as to another hotel on the other side of the town at 2am. The other hotel was nice, but we were very far away from our original location that we specifically chose due to a conference attendance nearby. The next morning we got back to the hotel and they finally gave us a room, which turned out to be a highly mediocre room (not reflecting their prices or pictures at all) and very hot with no air condition. We were hoping to get at least breakfast vouchers for our short stay (3days = 60€ from 2 people) as a compensation from the previous night's ordeal but apparently this was not possible as they "had already paid for our taxis to the other hotel"; which is ridiculous considering we had already paid them for a service that they failed to deliver. At the end we managed to get one breakfast voucher each (10 euros) to compensate for the ruined night and the lost half-a-day by relocating again in the next morning.

The rooms were nice however the Wi-Fi wasn't very good.

Plus: location, got an apple charger for free for the stay. Thx @ the staff! Minus: horrible Checkin filling out 3 pages with forms. Room furniture is damaged, mattress is uncomfortably soft and I feel all the springs, carpet is dirty and I doubt anyone can get it clean, paint on the walls is damaged/coming of the walls. This is a 1-2 star hotel.

I always stay in this hotel 3 times a year very comfortable Hotel. One of the best hotel with humble staff good breakfast and comfortable rooms I get soothing feeling during stay very homely atmosphere I love this hotel I am staying here from the year this was opened and I always recomend my friends to stay one of the important reason very near to the main train station.

Painfully complicated internet access. And then it is slomo. They want 6€ for a connection strong enough to watch a movie. Internet is like hot water and electric light. It just has to be there. That goes without saying in 2015. And this place is not cheap.

My experience was really good, nice hotel, the room was not big, but it was ok for a couple, nice breakfast, clean, the staff was really helpful. The price was fair.

An exceptional little hotel! We were in cologne and the temperature was near 40 degrees, the night previous to finding the classic harmony we had a horrible sleep in a hotel next to the train station with no air conditioning. For the price we paid to get the deluxe room was very reasonable to have air conditioning! Very tidy rooms with a good size bathroom. Rather modern too. Maybe the actual bedroom could have been bigger but hey, we were happy just to cool down after a day in the sun! The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and good good variety (missing bacon though :P) the only real downer was the lady working in the breakfast room, didn't seem very friendly on both days and when asked just simply for cutlery there was so response just a smirk. All and all, fully recommended and a pleasurable stay.

Very nice quiet Hotel. However, you can still be fast to walk to the town centre/old town. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. The offered Service is good and has very nice employees completed. I visit the Hotel again and again with pleasure.

We have three very nice days spent at the Hotel. The Service was Prefeckt the room is very Clean, the staff very Friendly. The Breakfast was excellent. In short, in your Hotel, I will to friends and Acquaintances recommend. A small flaw I have, however, are the Parking fees. MFG Störtz Karl-Heinz.

The Hotel is located in a quiet and very Central. Upon our arrival we were very warmly welcomed and were given a very nice room up in the attic. Everything was clean and with attention to Detail. We have prima slept. The Breakfast was also very good, it was all because of what one in the morning and wishes. We have comfortable in the garden for Breakfast. Also here we were very nice hosts. I drink in the morning like coffee with milk and prompt was my wish has been fulfilled. The only thing I didn't like, is the light in the lift, but this is only my personal feeling. We were unfortunately only one night there, but the next Time we stay longer.

A small Hotel in a very good location, my for this price range, generous-sized room was clean and well maintained, the bathroom decor is modern, functional and clean. The Hotel is quietly located next to a monastery, and very Central to the train station or to the centre and the Rhine river. A pleasant house with attentive staff for pragmatic thinking short stay visitors. The price-performance ratio is well balanced.

In itself it could be a nice Hotel with a great location to be at. However it is the trifle that summed up the stay have clouded: — the carpet would have been 10 years ago need to be changed — Cobwebs on the ceiling — Shower door can not be closed Window is not clean — only superficially cleaned — Klodeckel clean but yellowed (79€ you night, I expect the necessary renovation work regularly and professionally run) — smelly drain in the bathroom (there should have been a simple Rückstauventil remedy. ) — not learned and gelangweiltes staff (partly annoyed/rude) — horende Parkplatzgebühren (17, 50€ the night) — it was a cash Deposit (50€ for the mini-bar) here is a not familiar to the man pays. — Breakfast room much too small and narrow, there would be no holiday feeling. Breakfast very cheap (Aufbackbrötchen, cheap milk, easier Aldi cocoa, cold cuts and cheese is rather simple to cheaper quality, everything altogether unsympathetic and unimaginative) In short, never again.

I was happy with the quality of the hotel, the room we stayed in, the location and the price. But we found the evening receptionist very unhelpful, to the point that we a bad experience. The free Wi-Fi is limited to a certain number of devices. We had a double room and were supposed to be able to connect two devices at a time. But every time I connected my phone my wife's stopped working, and vice versa. I asked the receptionist about this and her suggestion was to "keep trying. " I asked if she could update the system so we could connect two devices at once and she said I would have to pay for that. We also asked her to help us call a restaurant to make a reservation. She said it was early and we would not need a reservation. After taking a €10 taxi to the restaurant we were told that they were fully booked and had to find another place to eat.

Things got stolen from a friend's closed hotel room without any signs of damage at the door — and the hotel stuff was less than helpful. The management seems to be basically okay with burglary by their own stuff. Would give zero stars if it was possible.

Attention theft / Beware of thievery! A colleague of mine was robbed, even though his room was electronically locked. Hotel management is not interested in — you can use the Personal key cards to find out who and when someone was in the room. Here are you and your property is not safe! A co-worker of mine has been stolen from in this hotel, though his room has been locked with his key card. Hotel management doesn't care about it, though the usage of the staff's key cards is protocolled automatically — therefore, the thief could be find easily.

This hotel has staff that steal from your bags. DO NOT STAY HERE! It is a shame that someone could ruin a great stay in Cologne, but they did. On the very last night. Hotels are a place of trust. Cleaners come into rooms and see our personal belongings, and in this case STOLE items of value. And the police do not care to do anything. Do not stay here.

ENGLISH (short) : Be aware that you and your belongings are not safe in this Hotel! Somebody entered the electronically locked room of my colleague and stole a huge amount of cash from his closed suitcase. It must have been an employee and we even have the sort of evidence that shows whom it may have been. The rooms were electronically locked and only opened the day of the thievery when the cleaning ladies came. Do not stay here! Stay as far away as possible. Your money is not safe, YOU are not safe! ENGLISH: We were with several colleagues at the gamescom trade fair in 2014 for a week, guests at the Hotel Classic harmony. Up to the day of departure, everything went well. The rooms are extremely small, there is no Standardkram such as hair dryer and no Service or something like that, but that was okay. The staff were courteous. On the Morning of the departure date then my most horrible Hotel experience in 30 years on the road: from the rooms of my colleagues was a significant (! ) Amount of cash stolen! The money was in his closed suitcase and due to a lack of safes, which for us at arrival totally surprised, and the work during the exhibition, around the clock, has no one is more busy. But who expects that a porter enters the room, searches and steals money? The room was electronically locked and could only be, a hotel access to obtain. The only opening Hours were, according to staff, the Cleaners, and then again until my colleague in the late evening.

The hotel is nice and in an easily accessible location. The only downsides are the simple breakfast offerings and the church across the street that makes sure you don't sleep too long.
