Super nice. Breakfast is very good. The room was clean. Location close to Cathedral peak. Will come back.

Had another fantastic weekend with my Best Friend. Hotel staff very friendly and Hotel spotlessly clean. Only thing missing is facility for making morning tea.

Excellent location to all sites, within walking distance. Service at desk and housekeeping very good. Shower stall and twin bed on the small side if you are above average size. Would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The hotel in the centre of Cologne is next to Cologne Cathedral. The rooms are clean, cleaned every day, but at 9am sometimes knock on the door and ask if it's time to start cleaning? Strange somehow. Furniture and accessories require replacement, plumbing is here and there very much lived. But in general, if you do not pay attention to these nuances, you can live. And so — please, the station in 5 minutes, the cathedral — a 2 minute walk, all the restaurants, cafes, shops and the embankment is literally at hand.

The room was nice and clean but small. It has a great location close to the cathedral. The service was good in general.

Stayed there for a single night, it was however a good stay. The location of the hotel is perfect. Very close to the main train station, to the river and in the city center. The breakfast was pretty good and the staff were friendly!

Location, location, location! With great views of the Cathedral (Dom) and being minutes away from the central train station by foot, this is the perfect spot to stay if you're looking to explore Cologne and surroundings. Rooms are decently appointed and staff are helpful to any request. Definitely would stay here again.

The location of the Hotel is exceptional. Rooms are correct and are very well soundproofed. The breakfast is wonderful. The afternoon receptionist is very unfriendly.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. We booked a room with Dom-view and it was excellent! The room was clean and equipped with everything you would need for a good night sleep. Although the hotel is situated not far from the Dom and bars, you will not hear anything from that when you sleep! Also the location of the hotel is perfect, right in the city centre. I would recommend Heu-Parking if you come by car. The hotel has a real good discount if you park there. If you come by train, it will only be a three minute walk to the hotel. We did not use the breakfast of the hotel. If you walk down the street, you can have breakfast with Rein-view: that was so pretty!

Good hotel, nice location. 3 minutes walk to Koln Central Station. 3 seconds walk to Klone Cathedral. Lot of shopping, restaurants, bars around the hotel. Very lively area.

A clean hotel in a very central location walking distance to Central station. The possibility of late check-outs is also a plus. Gladly again.

Except for a tiny little thing (the aperture from the fish drain was broken and loose — room 211) everything OK. Very good beds and rooms especially quiet!

Fast entry procedures. Efficient staff. Breakfast with coffee and chocolate of lousy quality as well as the juices, in Spain it offers natural juices and coffee and infusions of espresso machine. Comfortable rooms.

The centrally located hotel is very well accessible from the central station. A warm welcome and comprehensive information are very helpful on arrival. Our room was very modern and comfortably furnished. In the morning there is a delicious breakfast.

Room was OK (has smelled something after cold smoke, presumably someone has previously "smoked in it". The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was new and very clean. Shower worked great. Parking 200m further for 10/€ — 24h. In the middle of the old town.

The location of the hotel is very unique. Directly at the Cologne Cathedral and in the immediate vicinity of the main train station in Cologne. The pedestrian zone with its numerous shopping possibilities and gastronomical offers is also within walking distance. The rooms are OK, nothing special but very clean and tidy furnished. The staff was very friendly.

Asked for a room with view of Dom and Xmas market which they provided fuss free (Rm 401). Would recommend to any traveller to Cologne based on location alone.

A great mid range hotel in central Cologne. Very close to the train station, right next door to the cathedral (ask for a room with a view) and the Christmas markets are all around you. The room was clean, the staff friendly and helpful.

The hotel is superbly located on the edge of the Cathedral square. Perfect if you like to drive to a central location, leave your car. And then explore on foot. The rooms are somewhat spartan in size but are well decorated, fully equipped, and well maintained and clean,

Amazing location, right behind the Dom Cathedral, very close to the Railway station and high street. Lots of eating places in the same street. Room had a clean linen, clean bathroom, spacious room with a little refrigerator. Staff at reception extremely helpful.

The bathroom has a fault and is that the switch inside is timer and I had to shower in the dark.

I do not give the 5 stars because the pillows are very uncomfortable and do not rest well.
In any case I recommend to visit Cologne as it is next to the cathedral.

We were very pleased. The people were all very nice. The breakfast was great.
We also felt it was a good thing that all the thefts were warned.

We arrived to a fully booked hotel and our room on the first floor, 107, was disgusting, the smell was I think sewerage. We felt sick the whole night. I am asking for a refund. Nights 2/3 were fine in 308. Staff were nice but unable to move us or compensate us. Adequate stay but won't go back.

The hotel would be a top 3 star in Spain. The posters everywhere warning that there are pickpockets in the hotel come to create uneasiness. Breakfast good but the bartenders are not efficient. The size of the right room, international TV and bathroom right in size and with shower.
The price is very expensive, probably because there is a fair in the city. Perfect location, next to the cathedral.
For me a hotel of so many, does not stand out for anything special.

Very comfortable room, although not particularly spacious. Very well equipped bathroom. You might consider providing a kettle and tea-making facilities for guests (perhaps not a regular thing in German hotels? ), and in the fridge one of the two bottles of water could have been still rather than fizzy (my wife cannot drink gaseous liquids). We did not know in advance that the fillings of the pillows and quilts were of the feathered variety and had to ask for hypo-allergenic alternatives, which were quickly supplied (although the reception clerk seemed to rather resent that request). A couple of other small problems that we encountered, with the air conditioning and one of the electric sockets, were efficiently dealt with. Thank you.

First we got small rooms although nice and bigger room has been cleaned in the same time and were ready in 10 minutes, We were lucky and another kind receptionist was at the desk when we came down to ask to move and she changed our room. We were not so lucky when we left and the same receptionist of the check in was there. We asked to leave the room an hour later and when she refused we asked for half hour and she refused again. We know checking out is at 11AM, but I am sure that half hour would not make any damage and just gave us a good feeling.

This is a fine hotel, modern and clean, with great rooms and impeccable service. From check-in to check-out, there were no problems or surprises. It was close to the Dom, restaurants and the riverfront. The view of the Dom from our room on the top floor was outstanding and we appreciated sitting on the terrace outside the room. The breakfast was outstanding and the service was great. I highly recommend the CityClass Hotel Europa am Dom to anyone staying in Köln.

The hotel is not beautiful from the outside but it is wonderful inside! The room is spotless and service excellent. The location right next to the Dom Cathedral is fantastic (as long as you know you'll hear the massive church bells every hour). Very comfortable beds too. Loved it!

Central location but not recommend for families with small children: staff little available, rooms hot and with carpet everywhere.

Very good stay for the Christmas steps.
It was a very nice Hotel. Two bottles of water offered in the fridge is rare and we appreciate it.
The restaurant of the hotel does not offer a very furnished card but the dishes are very good and plentiful.
A parking is a one minute walk from the hotel it's really nice.
The only negative is the few slight stains on the pillows (and not on the pillowcase) why not put a protection in the same material as a relief for example, this would be more hygienic.

Centrally located is a great plus but the prices are too steep for the facilities on offer and they don't even keep 2 bottles of complimentary water which I thought is the usual standard.

Nice Hotel with very nice and comfortable rooms, and good service. The Breakfast was very good, so we really enjoyed our stay, Also the hotel was very near to shopping, seightseeing and very good restaurants. Can only recommend it.

It is the best Hotel in Cologne. The location, the staff, the cleanliness and especially the Breakfast are not to beat. For us, it is the number 1 in Cologne.

Rooms very good, Service very friendly, location to the Cathedral, beeser, it is not. Price performance, great. Attention: Anyone with a VW Bus or the like will be arriving; no Parking in front of the Hotel. The Vertragsparkhaus to EUR 8 per day has Einfahrtshöhe 1, 90 m, that goes for the Bus are not.

Good Hotel in a Central location. The Hotel has a relaxed atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful. The buffet Breakfast is good The rooms are clean and spacious. At the next visit, I would have a room preference, which is not directly next to the Elevator. The city centre can be reached on foot. I shall gladly come again.

Very good Central location, rooms adequate, clean; the bathroom in mint condition. Very friendly. For the carnival was no selection of food offered/no Snacks; neither in the Bar-room; a pity.

Very nice room, great view of the Dom from the balcony, only complaint is paid (expensive) Wi-Fi, that's just not from this time anymore.

We were on a business trip and stayed in three double rooms. The hotel is clean, fresh, and well decorated. The service was very helpful and nice. Some of the rooms have great view over the Dom. Breakfast was very good and fresh. Best localization for business, fairs, shopping. I give it a strong four. The only disadvantage is that you have to pay additionally for the internet.

Your location couldn't be better. Room was clean and well furnished. Only complaint is Wi-Fi should be free.

Great location, great view of the Cathedral from the 5th floor balcony. Only issue I ran into was the matter of whether or not I had paid for the breakfast when I reserved the room (I had, they didn't seem to think I had). Otherwise, staff were polite and friendly, room was small but serviceable for a single occupant, and the view was amazing.

Excellent location, 5 min walk from the main train station and shopping street. Staffs are professional and polite, breakfast is excellent. Room is clean and comfortable.

In room 109 Windows facing the ventilation underground, heard the constant hum even when the window is closed. In room 201 of the window with a good view of the Duomo, but from Friday to Monday next for the street running club, the music is very loud, playing until two in the morning.

Best service, best hotel IMHO Thank you guys.
