Very inspiring place. Memorial of the genius rather than home.

More nice people but strict control because photos make very clean and interesting.

You cannot be in Bonn and not pay a visit to Beethoven's house!
The most interesting feature in my opinion is that you can see some of his original partitures, along with his comments and a lot of corrections in his works.
You go up the stairs of the house and you know that he himself used these exact stairs numerous times as well!
You can also get a feeling on how desperately he felt with his deafness, by looking at the numerous strange, almost scary hearing devices he used, hoping that he could hear some sounds… Hoplessly…
An amazing feeling that almost gives you the shivers…

It is very nice, clean. But out side should make more attractive.

Great place but couldn't go upstairs as have a bad knee. Disappointing that there's no lift as I know it's a historical building. But I enjoyed seeing what I saw.

Great experience overall. For 6 euros you will an insight Beethoven’s birthplace. Each room has a theme that would provide details about his colorful life. Very interesting.

There is a romantic square here, stay here and do nothing.

Imagine you are back in 1845… yeap, there is some aura in here.

Lovely square with a statue of Beethoven, midi is a bar that does excellent steaks. The staff are welcoming and even chase off street beggars :)

I didn't like the one-mannered traders on the square and a lot of garbage. And they wanted to buy a bunch of grapes, which we liked, and as a result it turned out to be an exhibition and it was impossible to touch it. Think such monuments should not be be styded by peddlers.

Beautiful statue in a grate area in the middle of tje town grab some tea or coffe and enjoy taking pictures.

Having those large bins/portable toilets or whatever they are sort of ruined the scenery for me!

The house itself does not have much in particular, but to see the instruments and scores with which Beethoven played and composed is amazing.

Square located in the centre of Bonn. Good place for Passat, take in cafe or go shopping.

The location is excellent. From here it is convenient to start a tour of the Beethoven places, or just to get acquainted with the city.

A small area on which the monument is installed. Around shops, mail, etc. Nothing special. But if you got to Bonn, then walk through the central streets and see the monument is worth it.

Stands on the Münster Square in front of the central Post office and offers free low seating on the border stones. From there you have a good view of the hustle and bustle of the cathedral Square. A popular meeting place for tourists and students in the sunshine. Surrounding cafes, food stalls and bakeries offer cheap meals on hand. Popular photo shooting place.

Ideal place to meet people, take a photo to remember your visit to Bonn. It is located right in front of the historic post Office building. The building is located opposite the beautiful old Post Office building. There are also street markets on the square that contribute to the overall experience.

Expansive, little e no many objects no english spoken!

Every time I see it I remember the story I was told as a child: Queen Victoria visited Bonn and was asked to unveil the new statue. She stood on the little balcony of the yellow post office and was appalled when the cloth was taken off because all she was looking at was Beethoven's back. My 8 year old self thought it was hilarious!

It is not surprising that in the birthplace of the famous composer he stands in honor of a monument. It is an imposing sculpture that stands on a large pedestal. In the clothes of his time, he seems to look vividly. The artistic design was precise and realistic. There is a severity in facial expressions. Hanging corners of the mouth testify to a dissatisfaction that may be interpreted as owed to his self-requirement. The claim to offer the best to oneself should have been great. With increasing age, as we know, there was a deafness which demanded of him, the sounds which he recorded in notes, to imagine himself acoustically pure, an additional masterpiece in his outstanding works. Even though the grim look does not make him seem appealing, a very successful sculpture. The viewer gains a closeness to him, which is endowed with respect.

Beautiful city and Beautiful place.

Bonn city centre is well worth a visit. There is a lot to discover here in the footsteps of Beethoven. Architecturally, there is also a lot to discover here. Inevitably, you stroll past the Beethoven Monument.

Coming to the Christmas markets I have past. German markets are worth a visit.

A monument. Maybe you could bring the music a little bit more to the fore. For example, QR codes that lead to musical creation.

Christmas market at the LVB monument! Beautiful market in the bony city centre, with a wide range of offers and fzrchaus usual prices, for a Christmas market.

With a tour guide or audio guide or just the written description you are able to walk through Ludwig van Beethoven's life. And what an inspiration it is!

Not only the monument of Beethoven is worth a visit, but the city of Bonn itself is worth seeing. Many cultural offers, some of which can be visited for free.

A great little Hotel. Just a two minute stroll from the centre of town and the all the sights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great. I look forward to staying there in the future.

Rooms, breakfast and service of good quality, the rooms are rather small. Although located downhill quietly located in the pedestrian area/Centre. All in all certainly worth a recommendation.
