Location perfect, a little louder at night, rooms partly quite indisused (80s).
Staff very friendly and a very cost parking place was offered.

However, the roof terrace should be brought up to scratch again or not for smokers in the elevator.

Rooms small, sufficient for one night wars. Staff were friendly and helpful. Fruestueck was nothing special.

I was wondering if I'd give 3 or 4 stars. But finally the 3 * hotel convinced me.
+ Staff great + class Breakfast + location tip + central parking for 7 €/day + minimal defects were immediately parked — rooms could be more modern and slightly larger. (can only report from a single room — in passing the double rooms were more generous)
All in all, but for Bonn an address that I would always choose. Of course more professionally than for a wellness weekend;-)

Hotel Consul is conveniently located near the town centre. It is clean and comfortable. Unfortunately my husband was taken ill while we were staying, and the Hotel Consul staff were brilliantly kind and helpful. We had to leave early because of his illness and they were kind enough to refund our unused nights, which they were under no obligation to do. My only possible criticism is that like many German hotels they do not provide tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms, which is a bit of a shock to those of us who like to get some caffeine into us before we see strangers in the morning!

Clean hotel with friendly service. The breakfast buffet is good. The rooms are relatively small and the furnishings are a bit older.

Thes staff is kind and helpful, and the breakfast is exceptionally good. Comfortable beds.

Was a good stay, the rooms were nice and the staff were friendly. Only issue is that the breakfast is NOT worth 10 euros, you'd be much better walking 2 minutes down the road for a McDonald's breakfast. However overall a good stay!

Friendly staff, that's the positive part. Rooms are old, reasonably clean but worn. So is the bathroom. Small, humid and therefore stains in the corners.

Really liked the woman in reception but the aircon didn't work properly and it is very austere.

The location of this hotel is superb! The staff really make you feel at home, are very friendly and try to anticipate your needs. It does need a major refurbishment, but still it's clean and reasonably priced!

Quiet hotel, close to the city center.

They only have single bed. Which call king bed room is just put 2* one meter wideth single beds together! Even worse is, there is a 10cm wide gap between 2 beds.

The staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, it was the fact that the Hotel was overbooked. So I get my room earlier, had to leave. The best days in that Hotel even longer behind. The image in the Internal, unfortunately, has nothing to me most of the rooms of the Hotels do.

Everything was ok, staff very friendly, up on the cleanliness, and that is for me the most Important thing! There were everywhere strange hair around in the bathroom were around the sink is still soap residue, and even the toilet seat was dirty!

Wonderful hotel, cannot believe for very nice price 78 euro for double. smoker's room didn't even seem anyone has smoked there before! Internet wireless and on the lobby, shower with everything, the best hotel I've been in Europe.

Overall a very good impression: the room is clean and bright, not too small. Service very friendly and accommodating. Additional Features such as underground Parking or reserved Parking space (two different prices, both compare favorably to the Parking garage and tense Parkplatzlage in the environment), free Wi-Fi (according to capacity) complete the picture is positive. The Hotel is by car easy to reach. From the main train station it is also easy to reach. The pedestrian zone starts compared to that venue only a few hundred meters away.
