Maria is a conference hotel in the floodplain. As such it is designed primarily to professional events, offers but also a spa with a swimming pool (incl. Massage Jet), a sauna and various massage therapies (these are however not included in price), a bowling and of course km way green nature at (the Dhünntalsperre is within walking distance to reach ca half an hour).
The hotel is not linked to public transport, it must so forcibly be traveled by car, there are however plenty of parking spaces.
The Conference Hotel is housed in a building that the guest almost a small castle. The view is fabulous and there's anywhere to sit opportunities outside and enjoy this. For smokers, there are several balconies, which are accessible from the staircase so that easily break for this purpose can be installed during an event.
Our meeting room was bright and good fans. Unfortunately, the acoustics was not good, which is why even small whisper talks disrupted sensitive.
There are several meeting rooms of different sizes and the smaller stock this problem.
The hotel offers a lift and wheelchair-accessible rooms, as well as barrier-free access to the restaurant. The rooms are very different in size and location, but all have a television, a telephone and an en suite bathroom with a shower to my knowledge.
The food is offered in buffet style and is good quality and plentiful. Only the dessert was very little thing out immediately by ice cream to compensate for the hotel but also appeal knew what I've seen as very positive.
All in all is very recommended hotel in my eyes.
