Within walking distance of the Dom. Simple very clean room. Nice buffet breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

In the small bar at the bottom of the ground floor you sit comfortably and are always very accommodating and promptly served. Highly recommended in summer is the refreshing fruit salad with a swab of cream in the afternoon in summer.

The sheets have a smell of smoke in them. The aircondition is not properly funtioning. Its is clean, quit and with good breakfast.

Small but quite nice hotel just nearby railway central station.

Good breakfast, beautiful rooms, nothing luxurious but it shouldn't be. Everything great except maybe the parking lot. I often feel like he's a little too small.

Quiet hotel, rooms are a bit narrow, but OK, very good breakfast (all you can eat). This place is close to Aachen downtown (right next to the Marschiertor).

So you can't ask for more for the price. Everything clean u the staff friendly. Happy again.

The location and the room furnishings are OK and perfectly acceptable for the hotel class. The breakfast buffet offers a good choice for starting out in the day. The staff is not rude, but also not very friendly. For one night or two nights the hotel is fine.

We were one night as a family there. Everything was wonderful. The breakfast is a special highlight.

Comfortable and well placed hotel has less than a 5 minute walk from the train station and less than 10 from the city centre. Breakfast varied and very good quality, comfortable bed. The bathroom is cramped but functional. Bar and snack open until 10pm which can help in case of late arrival.

Good place, quite comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and very complete. Super well located 3 minutes walk from the train station and 10 minutes from downtown. Highly recommended.

As far as everything is good, however, facilities somewhat sparse. Food very good.

I have visited the hotel several times professionally for each 3-4 nights. Due to the new standard I like the hotel well, the breakfast has a great selection and by pimp-it-up products (e. G. Chocolate powder to sprinkle the coffee specialty, vanilla —/caramel syrup, special spice for scrambled eggs), the breakfast becomes something remarkable.
The rooms are simply furnished and clean. Unfortunately, these are a bit noisy for events in the hallway or the noise of the water pipes of the neighbouring room.
Those who are not accustomed to hotels of the 4-star category are expected to find a clean hotel at fair prices.

We were three on a business trip there. We all had a feeling that the window was on entering our rooms — but they were just leaking (outside – 10 °c). When we came to the reception, another guest was already negotiating there, who had measured 16 °c in his room in spite of a fully-turned heater.
We then got all the heating fans, with the help of which the night had to spend quite well. But actually I don't expect a heating fan in a hotel, but a dense window. By the way, my heating fan was the last. I don't know how it happened to other guests at night.
Apart from that, the staff was nice and the breakfast quite good. Also the room was otherwise noticeable in the years but adequate for the price.

Ibis is Ibis. Ok service, ok rooms, price is fine and location is fine too.

This is probably the best Ibis I have stayed in. Hence the four star review is relative to Ibis and budget hotels (and not relative to all hotels). The rooms are spacious enough to spread out a little bit. The entry foyer helps, as it's a place to store shoes, coats etc. We were both surprised and impressed with the excellent breakfast (11 euro extra but well worth it). Lots of fresh fruit, breads, cheese, meats, and good scrambled eggs too. The coffee is ok. We also enjoyed excellent service, both in the restaurant and in any interactions with the front desk. This hotel is actually slightly closer to the main Aachen train station than the Ibis that is named such — a bit confusing. If you have a car, parking is available for 8 euros a night, or you can try parking in the local neighborhood (some of it is paid, some free, depending on how far you want to walk). Our only quibble was that some rooms allow smoking, something we are not used to anymore as this has been banned for sometime in the US. So, you need to specify when you make a reservation.

2 star Hotel with medium large rooms and nice bathroom. The cleanliness I felt was very good and I enjoyed the prtesenza of the parquet in the room instead of the usual carpeting. The breakfast buffet, paid apart and also quite expensive, was on the other hand very rich.

This is a basic no frill hotel close to the Aachen Hbf. It's clean, with a comfortable bed and the bathroom reminds me of Japanese modular style. For the price paid it's a good place to stay for a night or two.

Front desk clerk was rude every time we asked for something. Decent rooms though! Be sure to book online as it’s cheaper. Crappy Wi-Fi too, don’t except to get work done.

Room No. 218 to the street plus elevator plus metal roller door from the parking lot noisy. Room size was quite adequate. Bathroom is too cramped. Repelled walls (presumably by suitcase) staff is correct however from friendly or accommodating miles away. The price was OK.

It's generally meh. Nothing was really horrible but it generally barely managed to meet expectations.

Very good and renovated hotel. The only minus is missing fridge. Otherwise everything is fine! The location is really great.

Reasonable price. Quite noisy outside.
It is very difficult to sleep the open window seen the noise, but it is also complicated to sleep closed window seen the heat.

The room is not perfect but I am very thankful to the crew who returned my lost Pandora necklace and bracelet… I thought I wouldn't see it again, we were already home when I realized my jewelry was not in my bag, I thought my husband placed it in my things because I didn't see it on the sidetable before we checked out. I realized the sidetable was wobbly and I was pretty sure it has fallen on the floor. The first time I called just the night we returned home, the lady asked me to call again on the next day, she was nice, so I did and the next day I called again and a guy I spoke with said nothing is logged to be found, but the staff was still nice to ask me to call again and so I did and he said my jewelries are in their office. I received my jewelries just after few days through postage! So many thanks to the person who cleaned the room and returned it.

Hotel Ibis standard with a buffet breakfast or there was good value for money.

I am currently on my second night here sadly. I booked this Ibis as an Accor Hotels club member and this has to be the worst Ibis I have stayed in having been the second Ibis I have used this week. First night the room was first floor, front facing onto the main street. Traffic noise was awful due to the window not closing properly. This also meant the room was freezing cold which having a pregnant wife isn't overly good and we are on our honeymoon so wasn't expecting an Ibis as poor as this, I've never seen an Ibis in such a poor state with such small rooms. After an uncomfortable night we told the reception staff who simply said they are fully booked and gave us a small heater to warm us up. When we returned from our day out we asked if the window was fixed, the kind gentleman at reception then said there was another room, so we moved to that one which was second floor in the far corner overlooking the rear car park. It was nice, quiet and warm. The only problem being is that we had someone in the room above who liked wearing high heels, on a wooden floor, pacing up and down with the odd tap dance lesson thrown in. Thanks fully it's the last night on our trip but isn't the end we had hoped for given how much we usually like Ibis and expected much much more. Wasn't nearly as good as our week had started with other Ibis hotels and the Mercure.

Normal size rooms with nice room attendants. Rooms are clean, and good working area when you are on a business trip. Breakfast is average. Location is 5 minutes walk from the train station.

It was my first time at an Ibis hotel.
I have relatively short term get a room for 79 euros the night. For the price, I was expecting a dark flophouse, was surprised but from a real hotel with reception, bar, breakfast and the possibility of some evening to eat.
It is in 3 minutes at the train station and 7 minutes to the city centre.
The room was clean, the bed was large. The bathroom was also very clean.
The rooms were very nice and since I slept through the beer garden, it was initially somewhat noisy. And either a cat was tortured somewhere, or in one of the rooms, two people enjoyed themselves…
Everywhere it went.
All in all I'm positively surprised and as low budget alternative is sure something, I again will make what.

Good hotel, two steps from the center.

I have stayed at the hotel because of a professional stay in Aachen. The operation was as always very friendly, the rooms very clean and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was varied and was offered something of everything. The hotel is 100 metres from Aachen central station and therefore very centrally located.

It fits easily. Business Nov. Back in 2013 there have been, and would come again.

With 85 € I as spontaneously and alone traveler an expensive day hits. Hotel rooms are quite small and narrow. Also, well-equipped, bathroom. In addition to the usual small sample was also the new Wilkinson razor there to test and take with you ready. The staff was friendly. The Breakfast was excellent. The rooms and the Hotel are in good, clean condition and reasonably contemporary state of technology. Wi-Fi is a disaster. Generally satisfied, but not a bargain.

Right on the motorway services but not noisy Comfy bed and courteous staff. Food in the restaurant next door is basic but fine for an overnight stay. Will use again for a quick sleep over.

Hotel close to the city, freshly renovated and very comfortable. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Value for money very good small car park behind the hotel.
