Very good location, hotel clean and tidy, parking prices with 20, 00 fierce but well what the heck… Car is safe, were on the 8th floor… Mega view and awesome sunset from the bed🥰

Very nice welcome and friendly staff. Our room on the 15th floor was very nice, clean, second pillow was also available. Bathroom ok!
Unbeatable: the view! 😍
Breakfast: there was everything your heart desires and everything was always freshly refilled.
Conclusion : gladly again.

Unfortunately not much to recommend! Best is the Breakfast Rooms are ok but not very good, cleaning not on a frequent base (due corona I was told), even a sign (clean room) is not enough, you have to tell reception. worst is the Lunch and Dinner options, 4 warm meals and two differrent sandwiches, without a chance of a daily change (never book a full board! )
I tried the Meatballs With Onion sauce and mashed Potatoes (15€). The Meatballs and the onion sauce were ok but mashed potaoes with that much frosted carrots were disgusting, you could barly find Potatoes the hotel reception staff is not much interested in changing anything or even taking notice about complaints. the breakfast room staff is very friendly and doing their best due this difficult times ;-) If I would have a chance to swap Hotel that easily I definitely would do and I won't come back!

Terrible
For the first time to the good… the staff was very friendly. Now to the horrible thing… the room was dirty! The tables were glued… Luckily, I had disinfectable wipes with me to remove a stubborn ketchup stain that was scrubbed away with three times. You can see how thoroughly cleaned is done (especially in the Corona period). Otherwise the room was OKAY. The breakfast was so bad that we voluntarily missed the breakfast twice because everything was so hard that you couldn't have enjoyed it at all. Doof is, even if you have indicated below that toilet paper is empty and we ask to get new, We come 8 hours later and the toilet paper was not brought and I have to go down extra late in the evening to get toilet paper… the hotel is by no means worth 4 stars!

Everything was clean, super nice and helpful staff. The room was very clean. The Pool and Sauna area mega. Very good price-performance ratio the Hotel offers, in my opinion, for what everything.

Total disaster, the staff totally overwhelmed. Waiting for total a long time at the Bar, at check-in and check out total Chaos. Would longer everything will take to describe. Bath instead of shower, extremely high bathtub edge. Not even a handle to Hold on to, for people who may have problems with the legs because of the once-specifically, totally unsuitable.

Nice, convenient, quiet atmosphere.

Too far from anything to be useful. Frequent buses do take you in to Hamburg but then without any warning just stop. Hotel tired. Single duvets on double bed?! Curtains covered with holes. Restaurant service shoddy. Breakfast was great but again service shoddy. Reception staff appear to have no idea what they’re doing.

We were from the 8.8. — 9.8. In this Hotel and will not book again. Everything is very ventilated bad and the Windows do not open. We must at the reception a piece of paper to sign, so the Windows were open. The air conditioning did not work. We got a fan out to be. We had to find an outlet that worked. I don't expect in a 4 star Hotel.

Maybe the best hotel on our vacation. Great service, great staff. We got the room at a nice price.

They can't fix the sauna for a week. And in my opinion do not even try.

One of the worst 4-stars hotel I've been in! I mean you pay a lot for a barely 2-stars hotel service! The room was not fully clean, the mini-bar in the room was sooo poor (coca-cola and water!, Seriously! ), the breakfast wasn't diverse and not at the level of a 4-stars hotel! And the location is far from the city center… It would be worthy if the service is good! I surely do not recommend to book in it for such an expensive price per night! Not worthy!

Rooms are very dated. Including in the executive floors. It's a bit in the middle of nowhere and the local canal isn't much of a walkable attraction. Food is poor, probably because its holiday Inn. Staff are very nice and a pleasure to be served by. The bar is cozy with a wide selection of drinks.

Went into my room and almost immediately a leg on my bed broke. It was a freak accident and they fixed the problem very fast. The reason for the bad review was the breakfast. 20€ each person and when had to find our own table. Then got yelled at because it was a reserved section but there was no sign saying this. They ran out of plates staff was all over the place. Great for sleeping but don't stay for the breakfast.

I happened to be in the wing called "Bridge Inn": Without air conditioning, facing directly in front of a very busy fast-sliding road.

In itself, a beautiful hotel. Unfortunately, we had a room heading "Main Street. " Sleeping with an open window was therefore not possible because it was really loud. As a result, it was also quite warm in the room. The carpet in the room could also tolerate a cleaning. In some places this one was already quite dirty. In the bathroom, some tiles would also have to be replaced.

A super great hotel. The breakfast is really great and rich. Everything and more. The rooms are very clean and large. All of this, of course, comes at a cost. Parking in the underground car park is quite expensive at €18, €50 per day. You better look for something in the surrounding street.
The city centre is about 10 minutes away and easily accessible by bus.

You should take the 10-20 € surcharge for a premium room in claims because otherwise you can catch quite old rooms. Reception nice and everything quite tidy. Cleanliness OK. Pool is quite nice and the sauna very nice but unfortunately not been turned on during our stay.

It was probably very nice 30 years ago, now a renovation is long overdue. Old furniture that is scratched, cracked sinks and generally come down. Fitness room is very small but positive the pool and sauna exists. But is far away from an oasis of relaxation. The worst thing is that it is noisy in the room from the street. Even with closed windows and drawn curtains, you can hear the street clearly. I'm not going to come back.

Comfortable, good breakfast and restaurant.

Friendly and competent staff, delicious and varied Breakfast and clean rooms. However, these have come in the years and have the best times behind itself. A plus point is the free drinks in the Minibar are. On the hotel's own car Park (about 18 € / day) can be easy omitted, since you can Park either on the hotel's free Parking lot or in the side streets. The price-performance-ratio is appropriate.

Nice hotel with very good breakfast. Everything clean and friendly. Facility could be renewed once. But that's griping at the highest level. Public transport links are only given by bus. Hotel is located on the Südzufahrt of Hamburg at the Elbbrücken. Can be noisy… But don't have to go to a room on the side to the yard.

Good breakfast. Too long waiting time at the coffee machines. Rooms have come a little in the years. Absolutely fine for meetings. For the holiday rather less, being quite far from the center.

The hotel is large and friendly. Wheelchair users welcome. The rooms for wheelchairs are large enough and functional. Easy to reach by elevator. Bus and trams within walking distance about 7 minutes for slow pedestrians. Staff friendly and courteous. I'd like to stay again.

The rooms have been a bit over the years. Not particularly large or very modern equipped. Also the bathrooms are not so cozy. The staff is top. The view from the 15 floor too!
A modernization would be really appropriate!

The room did not meet my expectations. Shower in a bathtub does not even go, I slipped at the entrance because there was no handhold and I bruised my knee strongly. The whole other rest like service, staff etc. It's good. You should change that with the bathtub shower, just for us older ones.

Very nice hotel with good bus connection. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The triple room was comfortable, the only drawback was that there was only one chair in the room. Pool and sauna are nice even if the pool is too warm for swimming. Would love to come back!

This hotel may be worth 4 stars, the room we had had two star standard. For the price okay, but for 4 stars we would have expected more. The bathroom was totally uncomfortable. The room service, twice was unasked to come into the room. All in all, the next time we would book another hotel for our hotel stay.

The room was very nice. For the pool and the sauna area there was a bathrobe at the reception free to borrow. Unfortunately there were no towels in the wellness area. The breakfast was super tasty, lots of choice and nice staff. Overall, our stay there was very nice. Parking in the Underground garage, however, cost 17, €50 per night.

The cheaper rooms leave to be desired, but the suites are great! Very friendly staff and delicious food in the restaurant. The pool and sauna are small but nice.

Well organized hotel with spacious rooms as well as bathrooms.
Very well taken care of the suite, if you prefer a Top service.
Excellent restaurant, both for food and for wines and beers.
Particularly attentive to the table service with an expense, full dinner, absolutely acceptable (40 — €45/pasto included dessert, beverages, spirits post sweet…).

Great place for a overnight stay, the room was okay, great view, great bed, not the best pillow, perfectly fine bathroom. Parking is a little pricey and have narrow spots, but there is plenty of spots. 3, 3 km from the great part og the city. The bus number 3 takes you there every 10 minute, so that's nice.

Wonderful service and staff, big rooms, an amazing breakfast! Located a bit far from the center. Close with a cab, takes a bit with public transportation. Small gym, small swimming pool (more of a spa than actually for swimming).

The Location is quite good, the train station is not too far away. All the employees were really nice and the breakfast really really great. I slept good, liked the bed. Though I have to say it's not actually a 4 star hotel. There are a lot of small things that would need improvement.

I have reserved a room and get another one. It was summer and my room was on the sun side, it was very warm. It was impossible to sleep. I booked with breakfast. One day I could not eat breakfast in salon because had to work. Then I took a buffet and brought it. I was raised. That was very embarrassing. I'll never come back.

Was at a seminar there. The seminar room was fine. Food in the restaurant with buffet was also good. Unfortunately, there was only one fully automatic machine in the coffee breaks, which led to a long queue. At lunchtime he should not be hired at all. After a discussion, he was hired. The service was good. They sauna small, but with up 22Uhr sufficiently long open. Only the signs to find the sauna should be improved. It is factually non-existent. The rooms were clean, topping up with third bed also easily possible. All in all good. Negative is the underground parking day price of more than €17. Every parking garage is cheaper.

The price-performance ratio is absolutely not the same. The rooms have come in the years. Carpet floor full of stains/holes. The furnishings/furniture not appealing. The bathroom had broken tiles in places. The shower curtain yellow.

If you choose this hotel due to the name "Holiday-Inn", be careful you will not receiving a room from another inn. If you don't mind a local small road side hotel, check out the another name shown on Google map on the same building. Good luck.

Visited the hotel for a house run which was great. The hotel itself left a good impression. Staff was friendly and furniture was modern. I think it's more of a Congress hotel then something for proper holidays.

My only recommendation is to stay away from this hotel. Follows the holiday Inn standard, however has no air conditioning in the room. And with a busy highway right in front of it, you cannot open the window due to the noise. Your choice: bake in a musky sauna or no sleep due to noise.

Got here for one night because our airline cancelled our flight. Super friendly staff. Good breakfast. However, the public transportation from and to the hotel could be better.

Nice simple hotel. Clean rooms, helpful staff. Only problem was getting coffee in the morning. Restaurant was very busy though but still, it was the only thing I needed and they bring it to you rather than helping yourself, which you do with everything else.

Practical but that's it. The rooms are all antiquated and deserve to be redone.

Located directly on the motorway but of which you can see nothing. Unfortunately, the rooms are slightly used (need a new paint job). Breakfast buffet is so average. But all in all is the hotel OK.

Super hotel, were already 4 times at the Holiday Inn. Class view from the room on the port towards the Elbe Philharmonic Hall. Minibar free of charge, is clean. Filled. The staff is extremely helpful. The only shortcoming is that it slowly a renovation bedarft. That is according to the statements of the staff at full speed. For us it is clear.
If Hamburg, then in the Holiday Inn. There are 5 star if all of the rooms have been renovated.

Restaurant staff completely overwhelmed with just 40 guests in our meeting. The Geträbke were at every table taken, but irregularly, or not at all. On mehrmaöiges to Ask where the drinks were, came, still no drink. After contacting the Restaurantleiters, brought the wrong drinks. (There were only 2 ordered). With the Attention on the wrong delivery, the drink was taken back and loudly through the hall called, those who are interested in the wrong beverages would have. With renewed Appeal over the wrong drinks did this unnerved his face and brought a impossible comment: (quote:) "That's impossible here with you, you can't decide? These were "very nice" au the table popped, so this Überschwappten and the restaurant Manager was unnerved by the hall. This reaction is the absolute height. I have a lot of errors see away, but by their own fault, and such a behavior, it is enough for me! It is the ever seen, the worst Service I have experienced! NEVER AGAIN HOLIAY-INN! Each Snack on the Mönckebergstraße is better!

The bed sheets cases and duvet covers had stains and the room the next day was made, were these dirty sheets and covers also not changed. The Breakfast buffet was good.

Always happy I'm in this for local conditions is relatively inexpensive four-star house. For the price you get next to an without many Surprises furnished rooms, a small gym, a Sauna (for a room, foot bath, showers), a Pool (in the 2. First FLOOR with views over the harbour city), and an incredibly good Breakfast with everything the heart desires! Leoder is the Internet very (! ) slowly and also against Aufpreos get the VPN and a higher volume of data to add, but not a better speed! I surf, therefore only mobile, when I am there.

4 Star Hotel? Can't be, there are no toiletries in the bathroom, nor, nor, flip-flops or Bathrobe as usual bereitliegend in a good Hotel for 3 stars. Similarly, the Zimmerausst. More of a Guesthouse! Too bad, I have more for my money expected.

The rooms have the charm of a youth hostel. The exhibition is old. The bathroom has the sink has a crack and there is an old bathtub with a sexy shower curtain. For a four star Hotel and the price is really pathetic.

Really a great Hotel! We had the Executive room. It was stylishly decorated, very clean and was in a very good condition. Furthermore, it was air-conditioned. We had Breakfast and dinner booked, both very tasty. In the evening a Three course meal and Breakfast Buffet in the Executive area. The Beding in the Restaurant was very accommodating. Throughout the Hotel the Service was close to perfect. The staff was very on it considered the stay as Perfect as possible, from the smallest concern to us was very courteous, helped. The Minibar is free of charge, which I find very good. I had my toothbrush at home and the Hotel provided me with a free available. The entire Hotel was very very nice: Super Service, friendly staff, delicious food, great rooms and views of the harbour from the 15. Floor.

2 nights in the Elb-Residence. On photos it looked much Better. Large "living room" with a small table and a really old TV times would be time for a flat screen. Otherwise, a bit Sloppy. TV can from the wall, simply nen Verlengerungskabel taken so that the TV in front of the outlet so you do not see. Otherwise, bed and bathroom Clean and Tidy. From eating her TOP everything you need and very very tasty also the 3 course menu. At the next visit, I'll take like the Holliday Inn, and no apartment in the Residence. Therefore, only 3 stars the more to eat, and General Holliday Inn include and not to the Residence.

It was a nice experience of staying with Holiday Inn at Hamburg. The crew were very kind and helpful. I have no doubt in my mind about me staying in Holiday Inn Hamburg, during my next visit to the city.

Nice location but would help if the was a AC in room as it's hot this time of year and opening windows and all traffic noise come in wtf. Other than that nice facility. The gym not even what it swimming pool cool view is good steam room never seen anything smaller LOL n it's 10 mins from bus station. N yeah bring in ur own soap plus side pillows so nice it's amazing. Bar nice food nice very good location for both. Staff very helpful. Enjoy.

Nice hotel quite away from the city center. Good pool, nice staff. But very slow internet access with limited traffic (rest is chargeable), and no choices for the breakfast — same sausages every day.

Not to recommend for Business travelers. I was here on a customer trip. The room equipment is rather old just as the bathroom is. The shower was not as clean as I expected it to be (glass fronts were full of scale). Once I ordered a bathrobe and a towel for the pool area I was good to go, except for the slippers which are not available. The pool area is ok, nothing special really. The service is rahter good, people are trying very hard. Worst is the internet connection. My cell is faster when connected with Edge speed. Overall it´s less than you´d expect after seing the homepage. I´ll choose another hotel next time in Hamburg for sure.

We booked this hotel for from 29.12.12 to 03.01.13 in a standrad+ room. The rooms are quite old, the television has probably been produced before Germany was even a country and the beds are rather uncomfortable. The bath is as old as the rest of the equipement, but everything worked for us. After several discussions with hotel management (we were relocated twice during our stay) it was mentioned, that the hotel will be renovated completely this year (2013), so a stay before the end of the year is definitively not recommended. The IT they use is completely outdated, and one feels that in several ways: It was impossible for hotel management to get customer information strait (e. G. We requested the same issue three times and everytime they were unaware that we already requested it) ; The WLAN is a complete mess. It is a "voucher" based system, where one has to request a voucher from the reception to get a login for the next three days. First it didnt work on my IPhone (reception said they are "aware" of the issue, but never figured out how to fix it), on the Laptop it worked, but was painfully slow and one would get kicked out of the WLAN around every hour or so and has to request a new voucher ; The free usable computers as well as the receptionists computers are running XP with IE6. Speaks for itseself. The "SPA" of the hotel is a complete joke. The pool is big enough for max 12 people. The hotel has around 600 rooms.
