Die Räume waren sehr schön im Hanseatischen Stil gehalten, das Frühstück ohne Frage ein Highlight, gerade bezüglich der Auswahl. Personal sehr freundlich, sodass man sich dort unglaublich wohl fühlen kann.

I stayed at the Eilenau for 10 nights in August. Had a wonderful time. My wife and I loved the hotel. The rooms were nice and spacious. The courtyard was beautiful. The staff were very nice. We definitely plan to go there again.

On the 27th of July, my girlfriend and I made a surprisingly short visit to The Eilenau Hotel.
We were not given the room, the stay or the service that we had paid for and we have been directly lied to by the staff. They refuse to give us our money back even though we were at the hotel for less than 30 minutes and now they want reply to my emails. We arrived at The Eilenau Hotel at about ten/eleven on the 27th of July and were told that our room wouldn’t be ready until 15 in …the afternoon. We then left and came back around that time. The room we were given did not meet expectations. By then we had been in Hamburg for four days and had stayed at two other hotels. The Eilenau was therefore to be the last hotel on our trip and we had hoped it would also be the best. It was not. The room was straight dirty. There was mold on the shower curtain and the entire room smelled like someone had died in there. Furthermore the room did not in any way resemble the photos on the web page. It was as charming as any abandoned highway motel. We then told the girl in the reception this and she agreed with us that the room was not at all satisfying. She then offered us a different room, which was much smaller than the first one. We therefore declined to stay at any of the rooms and asked for our money back. Then we were told that we could not get our money back because we had booked via booking com. Now that I have looked into it, it has turned out to be not true.

Beautiful riverside hotel in a tree lined residential neighborhood, but near to restaurants and sites to walk to or grab public transportation which is just down the road. Wonderful and kind staff. Lovely touches in the room and great breakfasts each morning.

Excellent service. Good location and refreshingly different from the standard go-to hotels. You feel like in an old manor house. Standard rooms can be very small.

Great service, beautifull location and a very good breakfast with. The bed could be a bit less noisey.

Simply beautiful. To the front a little loud. Very tasteful furnishings, merging the old and Chic Design . And also without a private Restaurant is in the Evening, the Bistro took care of it.

Individuality, kindness, and simply extraordinary I am now the third Time for several days in the Hamburg Hotel Eilenau and enthusiastic. Each of the something Unusual addiction here now to reserve a room.

Small fine first class Hotel. Just everything is right. Again immediately.
