Very friendly staff, nice rooms, good location.

Very friendly staff, breakfast very rich. Rooms very small, but okay standard room. Room facing the street, therefore a little louder. In reviews it was stated that all rooms are off the street.
An impromptu extension of 3 nights was no problem. Happy again, but then no longer to the street.

Great hotel to consider if / when visiting Berlin. Great location to many of the city's sites and fabulous breakfast (incl. Best yogurt I've ever tasted). A full suite is not that much more expensive then a larger room and the extra space is great to have. I'll stay here my next visit to Berlin.

We loved it. The hotel is next to the metro, buses 100 and 200, practically the center, but at the same time quiet. The room is large, very clean, conveniently planned. But in a large, light, with a m-oic, refrigerator and stove kitchen there is no dishes! It had to pay 30 euros for 3 days. We weren't ready for that! Especially since when booking a room it was not specified! And usually if the kitchen, that is, and dishes! At least you have to warn! If it wasn't for that, it would have been 5 and so 5.

Nice clean hotel. Reasonable rates. 10 minutes and your at the local underground stations and s-bahn. Friendly staff very accommodating. Would stay again. Lots of bars and restaurants close by too.

I stayed here for 4 nights. Every time I requested something the staff was very polite and quick. The hotel itself is very clean and pleasant, especially for the price. I wish the rooms had a small fridge and coffee machine the single rooms are small so it makes sense that there aren’t any 4 stars because their luggage room is a joke, it’s unattended and they buzz people in and out. Had to carry around my laptop and passport all day since they clearly state in the luggage room that they won’t take responsibility for stolen items.

There's no internet in the rooms. It is stated that it is and it can even be connected. But the channel is so narrow and the number of plug-ins is so limited that all efforts are reduced to zero. The rooms have a kitchen, but there is no utensils. Completely. Only two cups. Pros: convenient location, near the zoo and technical museum, stop hop on hop off, shop and there is its own parking.

Price performance ratio is top. The food tastes good and the rooms are satisfactory. The air conditioning is really great in summer.

The hotel has a great value for money and is also very central. The 100 — bus stops directly in front of the hotel, zoo station and Wittenbergplatz nearby, the rooms are clean and quiet despite the busy road.

Fine hotel with chic rooms. Good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Only the bathroom could be refurbished. Looks worn out in all corners and thus dirty (I'm sure it was cleaned well). Bathtub with shower curtain is somewhat impractical.

Very good hotel, situated on 500m from the Zoo. Great for the money. Very confortable beds. Great for families — in fact room is small app with 3rooms including a small kitchen. Easy access to every point of the city — bus station for bus N100 (round trip bus) is situated just on front /go directly to zoo or to Alexanderplatz/. From the both stations you have full connection to all S and U bann + busses and trams.

The Hotel Sylter Hof is really very nice. It is not a 5 star hotel and not the most modern, but the rooms are big and it is all what you need. The staff is friendly and speaks a lot of language. Also the breakfast is satisfactory if you don't expect a huge selection. The location is really good, with a bus stop outside the door you are in 10 minutes at the Bundestag.

Our organizers unexpectedly met in the suite on the 15th floor. The room has a balcony where you can smoke and have a table with chairs. The room is: hallway with wardrobes and safe, kitchen, large living room, and bedroom.
The hotel is located near the metro, there are shops.
The food was good.

The hotel is very well located on the Berlin Map. There is easy access to Bus/taxi/U Bhan services. Also, serious shopping is at walking distance. I only had breakfast at the hotel and it was very good. I enjoyed the variety of breads offered! The staff at the reception desk and the breakfast room was helpful and courteous. It was a comfortable stay.

The hotel is conveniently located, the staff is very friendly, the rooms are fine, breakfast is good. We like to come here again and again, also because it offers the shuttle service to the ITB.

Good location, in walking distance to all of the famous sites of west Berlin. Drinks are expensive, especially the water. But there is a supermarket accross the street.

Clean hotel with friendly staff. The room was very comfortable. Despite winter and frost, I had to run the air conditioning all night. Therefore only 3 stars.

As part of a business trip, I was accommodated in a single room. The room was clean, modern equipped and large enough for one person. The bathroom was a bathtub. Unfortunately, the room was out of the main street and the Windows did not require adequate noise protection, so there should be a modernization to be considered.
Breakfast was offered in buffet form and included something for everyone. Fresh fruit, yogurt, scrambled eggs with bacon and various rolls with a variety of sweet and hearty editions are only to be mentioned as a small selection.
The staff were always friendly and could give lots of hints and tips on the surrounding area and attractions.
Also because of its price-performance ratio The hotel is recommended, the room should not be out to the street.

Very nice reception, for me just with a perfect location and nice easy approach (taxi).
From the first impression really chic and modern, in the rooms the furnishings are then a little bit older but good in shot and pleasant.
The room (double for one person) is large enough, in comparison the bathroom with tub is very large, but rather on the small side.

Affordable 30-40min walk from centre (The Gate) 10min to the Zoo. Great value for money. However bad was expensive. Enjoyed my stay.

100% recommended. Room very clean, nice but something small. Excellent location and well connected with public transport (bus n100 right at the door). The staff at the reception and housekeeping were always very friendly and polite. Cafeteria on the left hand corner ideal for breakfast at a good price.

A great, centrally located city hotel. Cleanliness perfect. A breakfast that left nothing to be desired.
A pity that the room could not be used before 15h after a long journey.

Of course, it's not the most modern. They renovate the rooms piece by piece very successfully. But it is clean, extremely friendly, the lobby from the Sixties is now again very stylish. And a pretty good value for money in an incredibly central location.

Good hotel — long time experience in using it. Suites are excellent and a lot of convenience to have suite size of room for the price of regular one in elsewhere in Berlin. In short distance a lot of restaurants, good shopping facilities and public trafic transfers elsewhere — bus stot to the Mitte in front of the door, subway station a couple of hundred meters behind the corner.

The price was very convenient for one week stay. The staff were friendly and helpful in answering all my questions and concerns. Queen size room is small, but clean. The only issue at that time was with the constructions in the street, but other than that I would highly recommend this hotel for stay.

As usual a great place to take a break with a price you can live with and a view to "kill" for, at least from the 12-th floor And as I said in my previous reviews a happy baby means a happy mommy ♥️ Aisha can sleep all night long without being disturbed by the noises outside the room. This way I can sleep undisturbed as well. It's actually the only hotel in Berlin that allows this to happen ♥️♥️ Since Aisha was born blind all her other senses are way more than developed, so her hearing is much more than better compared to the hearing of other doggies, which means that the slightest sounds would make her react… Kindest regards, Tatiana.

Company Seminar there. The food was quite ok there are better hotels in Berlin.

Friendly staff, spacious room, strategically located and well connected via Bus (several lines right in front of the hotel and around the corner) and Metro (500m away there's a station connecting 4 U-Bahn lines). Well priced with very fast Wi-Fi. Had a great time.

Ich war für eine Tagung im Hotel Sylter Hof und hatte einen guten Eindruck. Die Räume schön hell und modern eingerichtet. Aufmerksames Servicepersonal. Seitens des Hotel gab es ein großes Getränkeangebot, angebotenen Snacks waren sehr lecker und das Buffet im Restaurant empfehlenswert.

This hotel is quite close to the the main shopping street in the west part of the city. In walking distance to the Zoo, the aquarium, KaDeWe (oldest shopping place like Harrods) and tons of restaurants and shops. We stayed here because of the location and the own (very safe) parking house just behind the hotel, which costs just 14, — Euro a day, which is in this area a fair price. You can get a parking ticket where you may leave and go back as often you like. Just be aware that they don't reserve a parking space for you, and even they have a lot, one evening I got lucky to get just the last one available. The breakfast was good with classic selection of continental breakfast. And although it wasn't a massive choice available, it was always enough provided, by very friendly staff. The rooms are contemporary designed and quit, with the two bedroom providing a good space. Just the walls and funnily the ceiling in our room showed that they have seen a lot of guests before us. The standard rooms don't provide a water cooker, tea or coffee and the bathroom just has some shower/ hairwash in the bathtub/shower. Wi-Fi was good and free, only downside you have to register again back in the room every time. A safe was included for free as well. Altogether I would recommend this hotel.

A nice hotel 300m from the zoo. Good air conditioning, limited Wi-Fi, plain but comfortable rooms. Modest breakfast is available but for other meals there is plenty to choose from in the surrounding area. Overall a positive hotel that I will return to.

Ok place for a short stay. Street where is hotel is very ugly. Hotel itself is correct, great breakfast, comfy room but I didn't like design. Everything is gray and sad and kind of old fashioned, and it seems hotel had recent renovation?! Bad check-in/out policy 15h-11h and not any flexibility about it. There are much better hotels arround under the same price indeed.

I have stayed here on two separate occasions due to its location. The bus stop for the 100 bus (also known as the tourist bus because it takes you by all of the main sights) is right outside. The staff are lovely and the hotel is a 7 minute walk away from Wittenbergplatz which is the underground metro station. There is also a large shopping area situated around the station with restaurants, a drugstore, supermarket etc. The hotel has a great breakfast selection, I'd highly recommend trying the fresh croissants and pastries. Although the hotel is situated on a main road, I stayed on both sides of the hotel and didn't have any problem with noise which was my main concern. The laundry service was also great! I'd highly recommend staying here.

Positive: Very spacious room with many comforts and power outlets. There was even a kitchen with kitchenette in our room. We were on the 13th floor beautiful view of the city, a stone's throw from the famous Berlin Zoo and Subway. Nice staff
The room was very noisy On our arrival we were greeted at the reception by a guy with glasses with black mount which was rude and almost vexed by us Italians. Too bad because it was perhaps the only downside.
