The room was very big and after every night the workers from Hotel de Ela cleaned our room. Even with new towels and bedsheets. The bathroom had everything we needed except for the heat. Good stay and I recommendend it. Especially for the price you pay for it.

Hotel equipment functional, the beds were cozy, the room was very clean and tidy. Towels and soap were available and clean. The location is top and except for the kitchen in the courtyard it was very quiet.

The lady at the reception was always nice and explained everything nicely.

1 point deduction in relation to the extremely loud Hechsler and the clairvoyance.

Very nice staff and clean. They clean the room every day. 5 min walk from Viktoria-Luise underground, and 15 min walk to the main shopping street Tauentzien. Good strong Wi-Fi throughout and some of the staff speak English very well. Breakfast is extra (7-8 euros) but worth it given how much food costs in some parts of town. Nice and quiet neighborhood with several places to eat. We will come again.

The stay at the hotel was not up to the mark compared to the price. Breakfast wasn’t included. The room was too cold even after turning on the heater. Toilet was clean but I had to flush twice. Also, I had initially dirt coming out of the shower. The two stars are the location.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I recommend it.

I had read the negative reviews before our stay at the hotel, nothing farther from the reality! We have been treated great from the first moment, it is comfortable, clean and well located (about 7 minutes from Witenberg Platz, with Metro station). The staff at the hotel cared from the outset to tell you how to get around and what places to visit. Highly recommended.

El peor sitio que he visitado. No te facilitan nada y todo son problemas. El primer día que llegué, intentando abrir la puerta principal, se rompió la llave y me cobraron 100 euros, y de ahí en adelante todo fue un desastre. La chica de la recepción intenté hablar con ella y me dijo que esto era Alemania, no hizo nada por hacer que los 7 dias que estuve ahí, fueran agradables. Nunca he visto un lugar donde traten tal mal al huésped. Lo único que tiene de bueno es que no es caro, pero al final hubiera preferido pagar más y no encontrar a la bruja, amargada y arrogante que tienen por recepcionista. No lo recomiendo, ni siendo gratis. La limpieza deja mucho que desear, y son unos saca cuartos.
The worst place I've visited. They do not give you anything and everything is a problem. The first day I arrived, trying to open the main door, the key was broken and they charged me 100 euros, and from then on everything was a disaster. The girl at the reception tried to talk to her and told me that this was Germany, she did not do anything to make the 7 days that I was there, pleasant. I have never seen a place where they treat the guest so badly. The only thing that is good is that it is not expensive, but in the end I would have preferred to pay more and not find the witch, bitter and arrogant that they have for receptionist. I do not recommend it, nor being free. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, and is a take out rooms.

On the pictures it looks like a small romantic and simple hotel, but on a visit it is just very shabby, little inviting and with unfriendly staff.
Positive: Free parking at the roadside in the residential area possible — car stand 2, 5 days at the same spot without any problems,
Free Internet access via Wi-Fi

Negative: shabby and actually disused furniture, a bed with almost flat pillows, tattered and stained hand — and shower towels that were not exchanged after use when cleaning the room, defective shower device and stained Shower curtain, toilet paper holder and toilet brush were missing, tiles on the floor partly loose, poor breakfast, which is definitely not 7, €95 (Surcharge p. P. ) Value was, the rooms very attentive and noisy (unfortunately our room was located directly opposite a utility room where the washing machine ran in continuous operation (whatever you washed there — our used towels obviously did not)
Overall, we stayed only to stay there — in the morning away, late in the evening. It was still sustainable. However, the sleep was not relaxing and the breakfast was a joke. Fertigaufbackbrötchen or toast to toast yourself, sparingly butter and uncooled cold cuts. We also made a large bow to the lonely, empty jam glass, in which probably already 20 previous guests rumgerührt with their cutlery.

Just don't come at this hotel. My experience with this hostel staff was one of the worst in my life. First of all the room was smelly. Secondly and most important was that I was offered something that I did not want. I booked a double room and received a double bed-frame with two single matrices which was considered a double room. I asked for a double mattress and I was refused. I asked for a solution where I can sleep properly and I was refused. I asked for a refund and was given only half. Do not expect nice people or proper service. Horrible staff!

I love the location, the staff is helpful, the old building has an athmosphere. The rooms are made in a 'There, I fixed it' way, but it's okey.

The hotel is in a nice location. This used to be a residential house, so the rooms are made e. G. By putting a wall in the middle of the living room + by installing a little toilet in there. Decorations are very dated. They have a very annoying system with the credit cards: I booked the room for 2 of us and my friend arrived first, and he needed to show a copy of my passport and my credit card, despite the room already being paid in full. Wtf?! He saw another pair getting completely rejected because their dad paid for it and the dad wasn't there… Avoid, unless you really need a cheap room and you're paying for it yourself…

You feel there like at home ;)

Only 2 bathrooms for whole hotel.

Contacted the hotel to ask if late checking was possible, as our flight would not arrive until later. No response so assumed we could not have the room. As it turns out our bag was stolen at the airport so we spent most of the night with the airport police. Received a very rude and abrupt email the following morning to say we would be charged for the room. I explained the situation and called out the fact that had not bothered to respond to my first mail so I assumed we had no place to stay — no go. Such rudeness and inflexibility we did not need after such a terrible experience. Does not bode well for actually staying with this hotel — AVOID!

Room was full of bad air, so pain in my throat. Shower was build in and no ventilation so all the cloud entered to room. The man from the staff was rude and rooms noisy. Will never go again.

A room with 3 beds (? ) and booked a room with one double bed. Room was very dusty, so our throats and nose became irritated. Pillows were to flat! And I was shocked with how one of the staff was threating us during breakfast! We had to leave our food during eating because it was 10am. We also couldn't bring our breakfast to our room and bring the dishes the next day. So we couldn't finish our breakfast. It was so rude and we paid 7, 95 p. P for a breakfast we didn't had! For me. This hotel deserves not a star at all! Never ever would I choose for this hotel again.

Great hotel, great service, great food, wonderful price. Can't imagine better choice for such low amount of money (36Eur/double room/breakfast/1 night)
