The hotel is not bad, suitable for those who will not sit in the hotel permanently. The hotel is in the center, which can not but please and the price is very attractive. There were 5 of us, 2 rooms, in a room where two men live in a kitchenette. There's no fen, no iron on demand. There's a kettle, there's a kettle. Mini fridge. We cooked everything in the room. Smoking outside. There's an elevator. TV, no Russian channels.

Single room basically met all the requirements I had. Of course it was tight, but I honestly didn't expect any more. I had no problems with cleanliness etc. 1 star deduction for unstable and slow Wi-Fi.

Warning: you can hear quite well what is going on in the neighboring room.

Stayed for 3 nights during the recent heat wave. No fan, the only way to keep cool was to open the windows which let in a lot of traffic noise. Even worse the Wi-Fi worked sporadically and infrequently: management said this was caused by the heat. Motel 1 down the road looks like a much better option.

Toillette is too little ventilated it lacks a dustbin and nh air conditioning but ansosnest perfect accommodation in Berlin mainly because there is W-Lan.

W-Lan hardly works in my room. Ground crunches very loudly. TV has extremely shrill tone. Staff are nice. The most necessary thing is there.

Old and quirky. Clean and comfortable. Good transport links nearby.

Easy to find. The reception at 10pm was very friendly and in the morning we were ordered a taxi. We had a triple room. Unfortunately, the TV did not work. The beds were quite comfortable, although we felt feathers occasionally. Since it was very noisy in the morning, we didn't sleep quietly. According to the Internet, there should be a much larger inventory in the room. All in all, we think that the high price for such a short night is not justified.

Good location, low price and the very basic room facility.

Location is great, about 5 minute walk from the hbf and there’s a mini market between the hbf and the hotel. It’s good for a 2 night stay.

No hotel parking. It's basically not a hotel. Only reception and just the rooms. No common rooms. Nothing that makes a hotel. Breakfast is available in the neighbouring pub. Too expensive for the offer.

I had booked an apartment in this hotel.
At the reception, which turned out to be a desk on the second floor, I was received unkindly and on a bad German. The woman was disinterested. I had to pay in cash, there was no ATM.
Preparing the meal was annoying: the dressing room is so that the door of the room cannot be completely opened. The numbers of the hotplate had disappeared.
The pictures of the homepage do NOT correspond to reality. The description and reality are on the verge of fraud
Fire safety was ridiculous. An alternative escape was to jump out of my window from the fourth floor.
I will not book this hotel again.
The only positive was that the room was clean.

Really nice old fashioned. Clean, well equipped, Wi-Fi.

Wifi was garbage, didn't work during our stay (seemed to be overloaded, needs to be upgraded to match demands of hotel patrons). Close to train, buses and trams. Toilets struggled to refill after flushing but work, shower is as it should be, service was fine. 7 euro for breakfast at the bar next door is worth it, black coffee and all the regular machine coffees, meats, cheeses, fruit, yogurt, jelly/jam, breads, hard boiled eggs, bartender is friendly.

Definitely a bit rough around the edges and in need of some renovation. As an hotel it was reasonably comfortable but no-frills and a good lick of paint would do wonders for the place. Our room had its own facilities, was more than a cupboard and was at least clean but it would only get a recommendation from me if they spent some money on the place. The hotel uses a floor of an apartment block. The 1st floor is occupied by doctors surgery and a physiotherapist. The 3rd and 4th are presumably privately occupied although the steps up from the 2nd floor were being rebuilt while we were there so maybe they are not currently occupied at all. There was quite some building work going on in the block. The block was pretty dingy. Yes, it’s handy for the main station but so are a lot of hotels. Not sure if Neumann’s (the restaurant next door) is co-owned with the hotel but this is where breakfast is served and is a popular bar-cum-restaurant worthy of its own (perhaps more positive) review.

Stayed here for 1 day 1 night. I payed 100 € which I felt was bit costly. Wi-Fi was too slow and wooden floor use to make creepy noises. But place was clean and friendly workers. It's very near to main bahnof. Just 600 meters or 6 mins walk.

Very good location near central station (5 minutes walking) and about 20 minutes from the airport by bus or taxi. The rooms are simple and old but well clean. Internet is a little slow. For the price they charged very good deal.

It's not the best but it's not the worst. On a lot of hotel sites this is listed as Ark am hauptbanhof! Not central Inn! Yes there's refurbishment going on. It's dated, not modern but so what!?! Yes it's 2star but it's clean and tidy. If you want better pay more up the stars if you wish to pay less use a hostel. I didn't see a cobweb or dust. Very clean. It was quiet, comfy beds with extra bedding if needed. Large room, massive windows, plenty of storage, 2ring stove, sink, a few pots and pans. To be honest there's no microwave but the only things missing is a can opener, Cork screw, serving spoon and spatula. They mention toiletries provided… 2satchets of shampoo, 2 soap and 2 loo rolls. The rooms are a far cry from the cover photo. However the towels changed every day and beds made, loo rolls replenished. Wifi can be hit and miss but free. Ask reception for password. For a 2 star rating it's excellent, simple as. Give this hotel a try, if your on a budget but want the privacy a hostel doesn't provide.

I've never stayed in a closest before. Seriously, the "room" is 2m × 4m. I have my own shower & sink … in the corner. Yah? Then my private toilet is the next door down the hall. All locked up with a skeleton key. I think the other rooms are too. This is the "economy" single. I can only hope other rooms are actual rooms. But the rest are full.

Rooms are basic but for the price to be expected.

I had a one bed suit. It was good for me. You could cook if you would like. The location is near bus station and train station.

We made a reservation! After we get there it tell us that they have no room for us! We didn't receive any email or phone call to inform us that we need to find another hotel! We asked why they didn't tell us before we get there, and they tell us that they have no Internet! Are you kidding me?
So don't trust them! Word cannot describe how terrible they are!
It's the first day of the New Year! How can they do something like that! DON'T TRUST THEM!

As for the price, my expectations were exceeded! Next door, I had a private bathroom with shower/WC in the hallway. The room was very quiet and nice service. Only the Wi-Fi didn't work unfortunately.

For one night, and when no further claims to the accommodation, it's alright. The name "Hotel" is certainly inappropriate for sometime converted House. Accounting was carried out by hand on an old receipt block and only against cash payment. Putting the €6 for the breakfast better at a bakers or bistro in the environment and not in the pub offered from the hotel next door.

The breakfast room is a separate restaurant next to the hotel.
Feel really, if one is to have breakfast there.
Conclusion: It had to go for a night, but if I just would have packed on the paid €91 €29, then I would have to sleep at Hampton Hilton and explain the differences by themselves. Again this "hotel". Hotel is even wrong.

I do not recommend this hotel.

Is is really cheap, but it was then too. Service is average. It will be a big uprising to card payments made, which want to obviously save the fees. You have to pay in advance, this is not exactly a vote of confidence. 24-hour reception is good if you arrive even later.
Rooms are old, small, barely ok. Breakfast next door is better than the hotel, but far from "simply awesome", as written in other reviews. But here at least the staff is very friendly.
