We are out of pocket by approx 500 Euros, as we had to cancel our trip to Berlin due to the COVID-19 virus and this hotel refuses to grant a refund or credit for a future trip. Very disappointed and will definitely not be reserving here once we are able to travel. All the other hotels we had reserved for this trip granted a refund or credit for future travel as a goodwill gesture. Well done Hotel i31… keep up the good work!

Delicious Breakfast and very attentive staff.

Excellent boutique hotel in a great location and outstanding service mentality! There's plenty of public transport options right outside which is really handy especially if you want to do a bit of sightseeing! My room (no. 329) facing the quiet garden was spotlessly clean and filled with nice amenities. The complimentary mini bar that they restock every day is a really nice touch! Free Wi-fi in room with high capacity. The hotel has a lovely bar and seating area. It made a lovely place to get back to and be able to sit and relax. The buffet breakfast is served in the café-style glass-fronted breakfast area and costs 20 EUR but is wort it! Coffee, tea, muesli with fresh fruit and yoghurt, cheese, cold meats, smoked salmon, fish, cereals, various breads, bacon, sausages & eggs and much more as freshly squeezed juices and Prosecco! All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. After all a highly recommended hotel where I will definitely stay again on my next trip to Berlin! Regards

We were very satisfied about the WE in their hotel. Especially the staff was very careful in small things. The breakfast amazing — we like to come back.

Hotel i31 provided exceptional, world class service from beginning to end and addressed all amenities that we requested. Location was perfect and strategically located to all the sightseeing, Amenities were beyond expectations and we highly recommend this boutique style hotel! We were treated like a special guests and will certainly come back again.

Wonderful hotel, great location for public transport. Clean quiet rooms with free soft drinks mini bar, Molton Brown toiletries and chocolates everyday. Helpful welcoming and friendly staff. Excellent buffet breakfast with a wide variety of choices that were quickly restocked. Thank you to all the staff who do a fantastic job. Would highly recommend this hotel.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at in Europe. The room was enormous, the mini bar is free, they also provide an iphone that you can take out to help guide you around Berlin. What I liked most was the free international call I made to my mother — she liked it too. The staff were pleased to serve you, they chatted and joked and were professional and friendly. I really felt comfortable and safe in this excellent establishment.

A nice hotel in a reasonably good location. The rooms are nice, the staff friendly, and view of the garden is quite soothing. The hotel has a number of free options (see their website). It is very close to mass transit, and there is some reasonably good food nearby. Would absolutely stay there again.

Loved it! The room is a little tight but well designed so you have enough space for everything. The staff was helpful and we really appreciated the free minibar, free electric scooters, and free iPhone (which was in our room so we could use during our stay, and included free international calls).

Perfect Hotel. Very Nice and comfortable rooms. Excellent service. The breakfast was Delicious. One minus-The internet is the same as in the rest of Germany, but in contrast to this in each room there is a mobile phone with unlimited internet and calls. Very Convenient Solution.

Modern and spacious room, modern facilities, a mobile phone is made available in some rooms. The hotel offers the possibility of bike loan and also electric scooters. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms overlooking the inner garden are much quieter.

Unfortunately, I was denied a night at this hotel. The so tempting offer on the internet, could not be communicate by a personal telephone call, the registration via the Web platform of the hotel, as well as a desperate attempt with a Computerpogramm, in order to perhaps still the successful end of the Odyssey To arrive. Everything in vain, … "Don't Stop! " Presumably it was my spontaneity.

Good hotel, highly recommended, during your stay you have many services (you lend to an electric scooter), the room is very well is spacious, comfortable with a large bed and clean, the staff is very nice and attentive, if I go back to Berlin, would come here without Hesitation.

Good location, staff very friendly, the main road can be a bit noisy at night if you are staying in the front rooms.

Beautiful, quiet Hotel In Berlin Mitte. Breakfast is rich — but priced a bit high.

The i31 is quite unacceptably located in Invalidenstraße 31 and is not recognizable from the outside (at least for me) as a boutique design hotel at all. All the more I was surprised when I ordered a girlfriend here.
The décor is really well chosen and the atmosphere fully cozy! In the entrance hall there are plenty of open fireplaces and seating for cuddling in (almost). Great!
At the bar (which on the right is also the reception) I sang 3 or 4 vinyl record players. In evening, then, is laid on;-) )
Class idea to also offer a reason for non-hotel guests to visit.
Everything seems very styled and tidy without being exaggerated. I will certainly come back here in the evening! The service was professional and friendly, as I would like it to be for a good hotel.
My girlfriend still reported the good breakfast (Saturday and Sunday even until the 12th 00).

When travelling Berlin, i31 is always my first choice. Superchic, very nice staff and incredibly great beds. The rooms themselves are also really pointed. This is where the value for money is right!

My reason for the visit was the lecture by Sebastian Fitzek and Volker Kutscher. So I didn't have a complete glimpse of the hotel complex.
What I saw, however, was very nice.
From the very noble décor to the very friendly and above all professional staff.
So I really liked the rather short visit, as well as the reason for the visit.

We too have just returned from Berlin. The i. 31 hotel was the perfect choice for our City break. We received a warm welcome on our arrival. Our room was relaxing and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel has a chilled vibe and the staff were friendly and helpful. Great location for sightseeing. Definitely one of our favourite hotels.

This hotel had beautiful rooms and a 24 hour gym and sauna! There were a lot of cool offerings, like a mobile phone that you could use during your stay in the room, and e-bikes that you could rent free of charge. The location is also ideal.

Love this place! Modern, hip and clean. Decent location. Super nice touch that you can rent bikes and they offer electric motor scooters for free and a smart car for just the price of gas. Buzzed all around Berlin for just $5. Such a nice touch to add to there hotel.

Great hotel located in the heart of Berlin! We stopped here for part of our trip on our honeymoon and we are so glad we did! Great Amenities, including a smart phone in your room for guidance around the city as well as use for phone calls. The staff was warm and attentive and always willing to help or answer any questions. Thank you for making this a special stop for us! Can't wait to return the next time we come to Germany!

This place was such a refreshing stop on our European honeymoon! They seriously thought of absolutely everything you could want in a hotel. From charging outlets conveniently located everywhere from the lobby to the room, the smartphone that you can take with you for international calls and data, the bed that was so beyond comfortable, the huge shower, the gratis scooter rentals, the posh surroundings, the incredibly helpful staff… I truly cannot recommend this place enough. Upon checkout my husband and I looked at each other and said, okay we both know that we will not be staying in a hotel even close to this for the rest of the trip, right? Ha! It was wonderful and if I ever he the opportunity to be in Berlin again this is where I will be staying.

Clean room. Modern looking. Spacious. Lack of closet space. Left some Polish money złoty next to the bed. Housekeeper took it. Not a big deal was worth about 3 euros. Housekeeping never replaced tissues or threw out my empty beer bottles. Parking is 15 euros not too bad. Overall not a bad place.

Small but cosy room. Calm location but easy access to the city by public transport. Friendly staff members in a designed place with good atmosphere. Nice breakfast buffet. Free gym and sauna are really appreciated. Cons: Extra charge for room service delivery and bedding not changed during our 3 nights stay there. Overall: Good value for the money.

Just returned from a few days in Berlin & was lucky enough to have stayed at the i31! We received a very friendly welcome at checkin, given a spacious room, warm with a lovely view over the terraced garden at the back of the hotel, so it was very quiet. Breakfast reasonably priced & lots of choice. Reception, bar & breakfast area have a very modern, relaxed feel. The hotel bar is a lovely place to unwind with a few drinks at the end of a busy day of sightseeing. At all times the staff were friendly & informative. The hotel is also ideally located for walking to many of the main sites, helping to make our stay in Berlin an amazing city break!

Very comfortable and quiet. Everything works to perfection. Helpful but not intrusive staff. Well located for transportation, shopping etc. Great pub with craft beer next door. We were happy to be upgraded to a larger room. The smallest size might have been somewhat cramped. Altogether a highly pleasant stay.

Hotel i31 in Berlin is a very beautiful and modern boutique hotel. It's location is great and we found it very easy to walk from and also take the subway / buses or trams which are all very close by. There is an option of adding breakfast, a light one, or — a full buffet breakfast and there is a cozy, good bar there and a comfortable outdoor garden porch. We visited Berlin at the end of June, two couples. Our rooms were so beautifuly designed and so so very comfortable, with the best amenities, most pampering and very clean. The hotel staff were very very nice, kind and really helpful. I recommend the i31 hotel with all my heart and will return to it for sure, on the next visit to Berlin!

Great Little Hotel. Nice Room, Great Staff and very good location. Rooms are very clean. Free Mini Bar means Water, Coke and Juice. Hotel Bar and outdoor patio good places to gather with other before and after work. Breakfast has everything you could possibly think of. It has something for everyone. Update: The hotel even has Mopeds. The Mopeds are free for guest. Very Nice.

We were in Berlin for a little holiday, the Bienniale, and other art venues. Well me and my wife Lou stayed at i31 for week in mid June, it was excellent. On arrival we got a free up grade, (for having booked way ahead of time and from there web site directly we were told). Room with view on garden was very good and all amenities also, as others have mentioned free non alcoholic mini bar, great cotton sheets, pillows and comforters, great design of rooms, washrooms, discreet maid service, etc… Love the all in one reception /bar lobby, with back terrace in beautiful garden. If you don't want to have breakfast here (breakfast seems expensive at hotel but you will find /compared with what you get. It is good value), there are plenty of options close by. Staff is excellent and very helpful, thank you again Kim, Eszter, Fortis, Luc (great barkeep and waiter), etc, don't remember all your names… The hotel itself was very well located for us steps away from U6, and trams M12 M5 M8 M10. Perfect location to acces Mitte restaurants, shops and galleries and a quick tram ride to Prenzlauberg area or Museum island etc. Many surprise also, free electric scooters, umbrella's, candy … a few pieces of an interesting street art collection. Anyway all this to say we highly recommend it and hopefully they woo us back, cause there is good chance we come back in the fall for another stay.

Gorgeous hotel, very good price, right by S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations but for tourism and sightseeing, we were able to walk to many of the bigger sites in the core of the city without even needing any public transit. Super nice and helpful staff, too.

The rooms are modern without any needless gimmicks. The standard rooms are a bit small but it's not that bad. Nonalcoholic beverages in the minibar were free. The breakfast is rather expensive for what it delivers. The neighborhood has quite a few restaurants and bars to offer. With the S — and U-Bahn in short walking distance the i31 is also very well connected.

A three days stay in that place were everyhing was at the top for this category of hotels: calm environment (although located in the center of Berlin) as well as the space, cleanness and equipment of the rooms (we were in a "pure"category room, second floor with view on the gardens), excellent bedding, wonderful breakfast (delicious food and nice service…) We love boutique hotels and this one is particularly quiet and comfortable. We will come back to Berlin and to the i31; we will also recommend your hotel to friends and family…

3 night stay here in May and we loved the hotel. From the moment we arrived until we left all the staff we met were very friendly and professional. The hotel is a lovely boutique hotel. The outside space with garden was especially welcome as we were there during a mini heatwave. The room was well appointed and we were up on the 5th floor overlooking the garden with a juliet balcony — nice to have fresh air but air conditioning worked well also. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean. Great location and easy transport links to the rest of Berlin. It was my birthday while we were there — when we returned back to the hotel that afternooon, — room service delivered 2 complimentary cakes to us with birthday wishes from the hotel — a really nice thoughtful touch. We loved this hotel and would unreservedly recommend it to everyone. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.

It is a super new and modern, well located, with excellent services. The staff is very attentive and friendly. We are especially happy since we need room for wheelchair and is the best that have been State ever, very large and comfortable bath and spacious room. All needs very well resolved and with good taste. In addition, the detail of the… great bedside chocolates!

We were from Thursday to Friday in this Hotel. The Hotel itself is very nice and modern and well located. We were not with the Service but absolutely satisfied. On Friday, starting loud construction work in and around the Hotel took place very early in the Morning directly in front of our room. To night's sleep was not to think. This would need to be known to the Management so that this room could not have been rented. Except for a mild word of regret, it was after our complaint at the front Desk, no response. Furthermore, the mounting of the toilet lid broke. Prior to coming, but was not repaired during our stay.

Absolutely perfect for our stay — we had 2 nights. Very conveniently placed, hotel and rooms beautifully clean and tidy. Lovely having the mini bar and delicious chocs in the rooms (all complimentary). We didnt eat at the hotel so cant review the food. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

My daughter and I stayed here and I loved it! Great location right near the subway. The hotel was cool and hip and rooms were nicely appointed and large. What I liked the best was the helpfulness of the staff. I had lots of questions and they always answered them very helpfully and graciously. Also, many interesting places were within walking distance.

Centrally located hotel with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. I31 is less than 2 minutes walk from 2 main subway lines, and walking distance from Friedrichstraße and many of the "to do" things in Berlin. The rooms are bright and thoughtfully designed, with Molton Brown toiletries, ample storage, complimentary minibar (non alco), umbrella etc. The hotel also offeres free scooters / smart car / bike rental — basically everything you need for exploring Berlin. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. There is a good choice of restaurants and cafés nearby too. I highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to return the next time I visit Berlin.

Friendly, helpful staff, very clean room with good facilities and an excellent location. We did not eat in the hotel so cannot comment on that. When we stayed there were rabbits in the lobby which was a delightful surprise and very soothing. Delicious chocolate everyday in the room. Would definitely return.

Superb hotel. We found it very easy to use the subway, which is just 200 yards from the hotel, to get into central Belrin in about 5 minutes. Breakfast was delicious — make sure you ask for the chocolate croissants! Great to have a sauna too, and very comfy beds and powerful shower. Thanks to the management team for accommodating myself and my wife after she took ill in December — you made our anniversary weekend something really special. Andrew and Nicola McFarlan.

My wife and I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights in March and our overall experience was very pleasant. Rooms are a bit tiny but very comfortable; the free mini-bar with non-alcholic beverages and the cofee machine are definitely a plus. We also went for the small French breakfast the last day, which was very good value for its price. I would reccomend the hotel for your stay in Berlin.

Had a thoroughly brilliant time in Berlin. The hotel was first class from the moment we entered, the staff were very accommodating and responsive. The room was immaculate, very comfortable although it was designed for disabled guests (336) neither my wife or I fall into this catagory. That apart, it was still top notch. A real relaxing atmosphere nicely thought out, good beer great location would recommend it in a heart beat.

We stayed at the hotel as a couple for 4 nights from the 16th-20th February. I booked the hotel as a Christmas present, and was really impressed with the low price and great reviews. I made a great choice! First impressions of the hotel are that it's clean and modern from the exterior. Upon entering you are introduced to the very crisp and boutique style of the hotel, with a minimal colour scheme of white, black and red along with a lovely wooden floor. We were welcomed to the hotel by the reception staff before a quick check in involving a quite form to fill out, and a credit card deposit (not uncommon abroad, so bring a credit card! ). We were given our room number, as well as the password and username for the (very good) free Wi-Fi that was accessible all over the hotel and we never had a problem. After getting our keys, we headed up to our room (434) and were instantly in love. The room featured a free safe, a fridge (which is restocked, free of charge, with cola, orange and apple juice and water) a Tassimo coffee machine, a flat screen TV, a desk and a bathroom with separate toilet. The room was spotless, clean and beautiful and we couldn't have asked for more. The beds were comfortable, and although we would've preferred a double, we didn't want to give up our lovely view of the gardens. The shower is incredible. A very strong power shower that makes you want to stay in it all day.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in! Rooms were beautiful, staff were friendly, polite and helpful and hotel overall was so lovely and modern. Had all the little touches that made it perfect. Me and my boyfriend had the best weekend away and would definitely come again and recommend to anyone.

I have to work from the Booking to payment, everything. The Breakfast (buffet) and the relaxed atmosphere was ideal to explore for the launch of Berlin.

Top just for short business trips to Berlin. Well located to get quickly and easily through the city and to reach very fast with the Taxi from the airport (TXL). Also, you have a good coffee machine in the Lobby ;-).

We have selected the Hotel i31 due to the very good reviews on the Internet and 3 nights spent there. We were completely satisfied, we felt comfortable and would stay on all cases in i31. The Breakfast buffet is extensive and offers something for every taste, the rooms (White, Comfort) is modern and equipped with all the amenities. Only one thing we noticed: In our room both the curtain and the wall to the bathroom were a little stained/dirty. This could be cleaned/adjusted, then the impression of the room would be even nicer.

The Breakfast atmosphere is very quiet and the selection is great. At Breakfast my has a view on the terrace/in the garden. Price 16, 50 not cheap but worth the price. Staff is in all areas very friendly and accommodating
Rooms modern and clean but a bit small. The traffic connections is super. U6 and tram around the corner. To the main train station with M5 or M1 only 3 stops to the train station and walking distance to the government district or change to the TXL and direct connection to the airport. Also to the Alexanderplatz are only a few stations. We were very satisfied and we should come back to live after Berlin we'll be back in i31.
