Super lovely and friendly staff.
Great place. Breakfast was delicious, various tea and coffees (latte, cappuccino, coffee)
Only downside: No parking available especially for hotel guests.
Otherwise good connection to the city

Great value and very nice rooms. The staff is very positive and always greet you with a smile :) The beds are either too hard or too soft making them very comfortable. They also have a memory foam pillows for those who may need or want them. I stayed here during the hottest days of the summer and the warmest day of almost 36°C! I wish there was some kind of ventilation / air-conditioning, but a cols shower could work as well ;) I will not lower the rating just because of a missing A/C, but the only thing that bothered me a bit is the bathroom. The shower head was lightly covered in limescale and the rubbers strip was relatively dirty.

Booked for a short break in Berlin at this hotel.

The rooms are large enough, clean and comfortable.

The buffet is good, but small. In some cases, however, refilling the food takes some time. The dining room is small, so you should have breakfast in a timely manner. Also suitable for late risers.

Conclusion: If you book early, the price is correct.

Convenient, central and pleasant atmosphere as it is located in a side street.
Rooms were tidy, unfortunately a little small and stuffy. Service and staff have recommended things in Berlin that you wouldn't have wanted to see (Bruchbuden).
The breakfast was quite delicious, but because we had to get up a little later due to later arrival we were thrown out of the breakfast room and pointed out with the words (if they are next time rather on that is not our problem).
Because it was just a weekend trip. I will never book this hotel again and will not recommend it to anyone.

The Stay was fine, a normal Budget hotel. Room and breakfast are oke die the price. Just a bit far from metro station and when it's hot during the summer, there is no airco! That could be an improvement.

Stayed here last week. Great location. Clean, tidy rooms. Very comfortable beds (Loved the memory foam pillows! ). Organised a late check out which was super easy. Would stay here again without hesitation. Also, incredible value!

A very conveniently located city hotel with a subway around the corner. From here, you can explore Berlin. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Bicycles can be parked well and safely at the hotel. The front desk staff member was even so friendly as he was just before his shift change to clear his parking lot right next to the hotel for us. Otherwise, the parking situation is rather difficult. The en suite room was clean and spacious. There are plenty of storage facilities in the bathroom. Breakfast is very varied and delicious. We can recommend the hotel without restriction for a short break in Berlin.

Neat hotel in the middle of Berlin. Unfortunately, no parking. The staff were not particularly friendly, with a few exceptions. The elevator is too small for strollers. The breakfast room is also quickly crowded. The rooms are beautifully large and clean.

Very full and new Hotel. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast was very good. They put bathrobes and slippers in the room. The helpful bed. The reception was great. We ordered an iron and they left it at no cost. The breakfast was carisimo.

Nice staff, decent rooms, solid and central location with walking distance to cafes, food and restaurants, and a close subway station on the main central line. My room had a window which overlooked a courtyard that received deliveries or something at 1am, 3am, 5am, and 6.30am on my first night before a big conference. Suffice it to say, I was unimpressed. I didn't take the breakfast which seemed overpriced. I did manage to book fairly last minute at a reasonable price. The area felt a little city-urban as opposed to a tourist area, which might appeal to some. Would I return? Not in a hurry, but at a push, sure.

Nice hotel but still are missing facilities to be ****, like mini bar etc. Room is very nice and bed is comfy but too small, I booked double room for single use and got a small room with double bed where is no any space for second person (in double room! ). This select hotel is the best of Novum, but they are everywhere the same — always cheating. Very good area indeed.

I was there for one night. The rooms are nicely decorated and equipped with enough catering facilities. The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast and most of all the coffee was very good compared to other hotels.

Nice hotel and super suitable for a short trip to the capital city. The hotel is just around the corner from Checlpoint Charly and with the subway which is almost outside the door, one is in a few minutes at all possible sights.
The room was reactively small, but as I said, perfect for a short trip. Although the hotel is relatively large, it is very quiet there.
The atmosphere is good and the staff very nice too. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
If I had to come back to Berlin, I could well imagine checking in here again.

Absolutely blown away by how lovely this hotel was. We couldn't check in until 2pm but they allowed us to leave our luggage safely to explore the local area. When we checked in the room was beautiful. Very spacious, contempary, had everything we needed and more. Beds were comfier than my own and I didn't think that was possible. Absolutely reccomend this hotel.

The hotel is close to Checkpoint Charlie and is easily accessible by metro. The hotel is modernly equipped, the rooms functional and nicely equipped, the staff very friendly and helpful. The nightlife of Kreuzberg is also not far away, so that the pleasant can be combined with the useful. Good price — performance ratio. The only criticism is that the price of breakfast is excessive.

This is a great hotel in an ideal location. The staff are brilliant and Nicole Kruger should be promoted she is an outstanding caring and attentive employee. Its not expensive, which I like, as I am not a fan, on holidays, of opulent over the top accommodation. I love to keep it real and feel part of the community. Thanks Nicole you make this hotel shine especially during my stay. Thank you for checking on me & bringing me tea & a carafe of water when I was sick. I have never had that kind of service anywhere in the world. Kudos.

Great place to stay! Had a short break here for New Year's Eve. The staff were friendly and spoke perfect English (I'm sorry to say my German is not nearly as good) big thank you to Maria for making us feel extra welcome. Really close to the metro and to Checkpoint Charlie.

Modern and fresh hotel. Nice and central location. Very affordable. I don't think this is a 4 star hotel due to the limited hotel service. There was no kettle in the room. I asked for an iron and I have to pick it up in the reception. The sound isolation between the rooms is not so good, I could literally hear everything.

The receptionist was nice, the room was good enough although the bathroom had a smell of humidity. There was no free water to drink and no fridge. The breakfast there is expensive (€15) so I would recommend to have breakfast in one of the bakeries near by (€5).

Hotel is OK but the location is great. You can quickly get anywhere in Berlin. The people are very nice. So recommendation for Berlin. If you are travelling in the area of the federal ministries, you quickly get to the right real estate. Breakfast is good but a bit more expensive at 14. €50…

A nice hotel, well equipped and functional, in the middle of Berlin. Good bus connection to the main station and walking distance to the Mehringdamm — perfect for me; And at acceptable prices.

Great place — centrally located and within easy walking distance to many museums and public transport. Also within decent walking distance to many other sites such as Museum Island and Potsdamerplatz.

Cold room on arrival (heating cut and window open), beds not made, tiny room compared to description, old and uncomfortable mattresses (large springs in the back), important noises at 7:30 am by housekeepers, hot water in Alternation, no kettle (for a 4 * is a pity), no room to install the suitcases. For the price of the room, this is almost unacceptable.

Pretty basic interior but can't fault much about it. Helpful staff. Central location but pretty quiet in the immediate surrounds.

Pros: Room was big and clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Cons: no air conditioning and the Wi-Fi is HORRIBLE. Hotels need to have good Wi-Fi! Other than that, my stay here was very pleasant and I would definitely return if I go back to Berlin.

Lovely customer service and clean rooms. The buffet breakfast was consistent and delicious. There was no bar fridge or kettle, but there is a coffee pod machine and tea bags. Staff were nice.

This quite central location, a 10-minute walk from CheckPoint Charlie, and 20 from the Brandenburg Gate and Potsdamer platz.
* Rooms are a little small but quiet at night where you can rest without outside noises.
* The negative: the breakfast has little variety. The only TV has channels in German.

Great hotel for those who want to visit Berlin, one moves very well walk close to most attractions. Good cleaning done daily, only down fall, but this is most of the wall Berlin Hotels, breakfast expensive in price you can avoid seeing the many venues nearby. Recommended.

The winters hotel — again!
The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, no matter to what hour (because I only very, very late could check-in due to a jam on the motorway). To each question, you will get a friendly response.
The breakfast was bombastic, you had much choice (bread rolls, bread, croissants, bacon, scrambled eggs, small cakes… There's everything the heart desires! ), and here, too, the kitchen staff was very obliging. If the coffee was once empty comes directly a friendly waitress and gives up. Really top.
On the situation, I must say nothing, you get from A to B.
The only flaw would be the bathroom, since you can brush again properly. It was not very "dirty", but a little disappointing, because everything else was very, very good.

Some of the staff is friendly. That is the only positive thing about this hotel. The clean ladies do not do their job, and if you have a kid then you should just forget about coming here because they will charge you fifty euro just to do a mediocre vacuuming job to get the crumbs off the floor. You can buy breakfast for three people anywhere in Berlin for the price they ask you for here and for those of you that need Wi-Fi to contact your family, forget it. It cuts out every time you leave the area, and I am pretty sure they charge you for that too. I don't know if my experience is this way just because I am a foreigner, or if it is because this place is genuinely this horrible, but I will not be staying here next time I come to Berlin whether it be for business or pleasure.

The hotel itself is OK but not what I would expect from a 4* hotel, I think it is more likely a 3*. One of the cleaners removed an item from our room which left us feeling very unhappy and when we complained to the reception desk they were not particularly helpful and rather rude. We managed to get the item back were very angry at how the staff dealt with the situation and the fact it had been taken from our room in the first place. The rooms are serviced each day although not particularly well — the sheets are not changed and nothing is dusted. The size of the room was good and was only a short walk from the nearest U-Bahn.

For a city trip to Berlin just right! Central Location! Clean rooms in their facilities completely zureichen! Super Breakfast with good Service, also at the reception. For Ausschläfer, of course, rather unsuitable, since it is early to Eight already the handheld shower and the hair dryer from the neighbors hear, but this bothered us, as much is not, as we do not Sleep, but to experience Berlin were there! In the Service, and, therefore, only four out of five points — there are only a good and not very good, because the Breakfast service, a young blonde lady gave us, unfortunately, very listless, and for the taste of my girlfriend and me we already arrogant schemes. But otherwise everything was tiptop! Who a city break with plenty to do in Berlin plans is right here and the young lady had hopefully only three bad Morning :).

Rooms are bright and we'll equipped. Breakfast was done with much love even though it was very crowded. Prices are a bit too steep though since the rooms are very small. Overall 4 Stars.

We booked a three night stay online but were delayed by one day due to work commitments when we arrived the hotel had cancelled our online deal and charged us full price for each night not including breakfast very disappointing small rooms no tea or coffee facilities very expensive for what it is don't bother.

Staff overall very language-lazy and unfriendly. Already on arrival hardly a "good day", let alone a "warm welcome" or "Good stay". And when departure b. Z. W. Levy of the key here was only a "good", whatever that should mean! Also at breakfast, staff very unfriendly, tables with slightly unclean place mat. The room was very small for the price, very loud to the backyard and as of 6 o'clock, here, the kitchen was probably already very active and loud. We would not choose this hotel and also not recommend it.

Stayed here this weekend, make sure you specify a Non Smoking room if you're a non smoker, my Sister refused to sleep in the smoking room she was given as it smelt so bad, and slept on the floor of my parents room, she was charged 88 Euro for this privilege and the hotel says that if you don't specify a non smoking room then they can put you in a smoking room and it's your bad luck if you don't accept that! Since when is the default having to specify non smoking? No refund for her having to sleep on the floor, awful! would not recommend this hotel chain and the staff dealing with this issue were very rude and basically did nothing.

This Hotel Double Charged me and would not give me a refund for the overcharge. This is Stealing from my Bank Account They made a second booking themselves and debited my account without authority KEEP AWAY FROM THIS PLACE THEY CHEAT YOU.
