I wouldn't recommend staying in this hotel. — Tiny rooms, — the hotel is in one of the worst areas of Berlin, — Unfriendly stuff (not all of them, but some were extreamly unrespectful, and wouldn't even appologise for the inconveniences caused). — and I didn't feel safe there. A plus is that the rooms were clean and the breackfast was not that bad (but definitely not worth 8 euros).

Mediocre little place with tiny rooms. Online photos have been shot with a fish eye to make rooms look bigger but in fact they are tiny. Bicycle rental policy is designed to rip off customers: you have to return the bike at 11 pm every day or they will make you pay twice.

I am visiting Berlin for the next few days with my family and I was quite disappointed when we arrived at the hotel. I would not consider this area of Berlin the most family friendly. The rooms are updated but extremely minimal.

24 hour reception, everything clean and on request a quiet room located to the courtyard. Breakfast is also possible spontaneously for the short-determined. We were very pleased!

Was good and clean and the area has a lot of restaurants and bars if you are interested. Well the rooms was small very small size and it's very good for 40-50 eur.

Have been there more often than to visit our daughter and can only say the best!

Room ok. Location to the railway too. Parking bad. Breakfast not recommended. Suitcase cannot be stored there, you should put them in the breakfast room.

The location is super central the room was surprised small but modern furnished and quite beautiful. I would book it again but not for a longer stay. However, for shorter stays very good.

The room was nice and I like the area. Only problem is that I asked the lady at the reception where the nearest bar was. She gave me directions to a bar 6 ubahn stops away when there were several on the block. She was obviously paid to suggest that place. It was not very honest.

The Hotel Prens has a great location and a very good connection right outside the door.
24-hour reception, free Wi-Fi and rooms are equipped with new furniture. There is a lot of attention paid to cleanliness.
The hotel is 100% recommended. I'll be back in the case of the accident.

It was very dirty, Glas on the ground. Some construction works was going on so some things in the room where not finished. The mattress where terrible, no night light at the bed. Internet doesnt work for a view hours. I tried to go to go on the Toilette downstairs and during that some of the stuff knocked at the door if I am a guest and I should come out fast. Anyway stuff was quite unfriendly. I am musician and I tour a lot but this are definitely no 3 stars. Maybe 1.

I stayed there for 4 nights. The housekeeping staff never came, even when we specifically requested towel change. They had safes in the room which didn't work. Also they have entered aour room to do some work and after they have finiahed everything was dusty and no one bother to clean up. The staff was not interested that we have complaints and their excuse was that they had to work in the rooms on that specific day.

We fortunately managed to book ourselves into this hotel at like midnight because our flight home was cancelled. The beds were comfortable, the 4 person room we stayed in was spacious enough, and the shower was pretty good. We were only stopping there for the night before flying home so it worked well enough for us, everything seemed kinda basic though so I don't know if id have been happy there for the duration of the whole trip.

This is what happens when an independent jewellery shop decides to open a hotel in the building above. Attention to detail is lacking in most areas. Service and cleanliness was bordering on acceptable, but nothing more.

We have stayed at the hotel twice, and both times we´ve eperienced excellent service and a nice hotel at a resonable price.
The hotel has clean and well kept rooms, with newer bathrooms and perfectly funtioning Wi-Fi.
The staff at the reception are accomodating and helpful and speak fine English.
The morning buffet is not large, but it contains what you need.
The hotel is situated close to the U-bahn at both Schönleinstrasse and Kottbusser Tor. We used parking in Karstadt at 5€ pr day.
The area is lively and there are many small restaurants and shops. There´s an excellent döner place right across the street. It´s situated right by the Landwehrkanal with a cosy atmosphere and a market twice a week.

These guys are so nice. They washed & dried my clothes. Beautiful rooms. Excellent breakfast. If you're looking for a Fantastic Hotel in District 36 of Berlin. This is were you want to be!

They opened a suitcase with a lock, and I stole things. After a few days of staying in the hotel with my family I left the hotel prens totally sure I would have my things in order, in the airport I realized on of the lockers of my bag (a really big and strong one) has been taken out and some of the most expensive things were stolen from it. I try to contact with the hotel with zero response from them. Sti poor managed and you have none consumer service. STRONGLY RECOMEND NOT TO STAY HERE

After a few days stay with my family in the hotel I am retiring confident that all my stuff would be in order, in the airport I realize that one of the locks of my suitcase was taken out and several expensive items had been stolen. Try to communicate with the management of the hotel without any response. To my opinion he has a very bad management and very bad customer service. I recommend not to stay in the hotel in case they want to leave with all their belongings.

The hotel is nice and clean, not far from city center (it took us about 45min walk to get to Alexander Platz) and close to quite big park. The neighbourhood is full of restaurants and cafes. There is an elevator that stops between floors so every time you have to walk half stairway up or down to get to your room. It wasn't a problem for us, though. The biggest issue for me was the lack of airconditioning. They provide you only with an old fan. Our room was located in the 4th floor and it was really hot. For 3 star hotel ac should be a standard in my opinion. I recommend this hotel, but not in summer.

We found everything satisfactory and as advertised. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The staff also had a good sense of humor which is always nice. The location is very good and we wouldn''t hesitate to stay there again. Danke Schön!

We had morning personally booked the room on the spot and also directly paid.
We wanted to check in in the evening, the ill-tempered Mr reception claimed to know anything about this book. With bad English and kind of rude, downright bitching he discussed back & forth, until the book then probably suddenly showed up in the system. To the Crown it all he insisted up to the check-out to retain (! ) the passport of my companion. Affiliated ausghändigte room menu did not work, which is why a renewed corridor to the reception was necessary.
The room itself surprised when better storage closet. Only in the bathroom it was nothing, it was modern and clean. We have not even taken breakfast claim.

Rooms seem new on first view — but it's only on the surface. Bath light was flickering, floor was dirty, bed was way too hard. Parking available, means you can park outside ob the road — if you find a free place. Reception is kind of spooky… If you want to stay in Berlin for a weekend, book Motel One or another hotel for the same price.

Great location near public transit and in the heart of Berlin. Customer service very good, rooms clean and nice. Had no problem booking a room on their site. Surprisingly we received free Wi-Fi access upon arrival, which is a big plus. Won't find better for the price in the center of Berlin. Will come back.

Room. Too loud and hot, no climate. Shower head abfefallen, tuerstopper demolished. Price (angebl wg. IFA) umverhaeltnismaessig.

My experience during may living room in This Hotel (from 14/07/2015 to 21/07/2015) was absolute negative for not servise, present in my contract witk you stipulated. Not cleanliness of the room end the bathroom. The boxs-security cloused since our arrive. Shower partially functioning. I 'm sorry end dissuade any future traveller to book this Hotel. Thank you.

Good location for taking the U Bahn, and there are two grocery stores across the street. The staff was polite and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Good service at reception. Clean, light and silent double room at 5th floor I read about review reporting of small room, but it was not the case.

Less Design or Boutique Hotel as the pictures make believe, but still great: Sufficiently modern décor, free Wi-Fi, good Service, 24-hour reception with a small Bar, budget rooms, Breakfast and drinks and great location in Kreuzberg: The Maybachufer with a nice market on the weekend is right around the corner, a metro station is almost in front of the door, the orange street with many dining and drinking establishments not 10 minutes walk away. Tip: The small, surprisingly decent Sushi Shop right down in the house. Class Hotel, I'm happy again.

A modern hotel situated in the heart of Kreuzberg. Excellent bathroom and comfortable bed. A positive stay in Berlin.

Overall, the room and Service ok, however, it has been tried, the booking of HRS to avoid, by claiming that my credit card was not covered. It was a business trip, my employer has, in the past 12 months, a 7-digit amount as a profit. Nice try, Hotel Prens, this number (which I have often experienced) sucks bundeseweit.

OK but a very cramped room, and the smallest breakfast buffet I have seen. The elevator noise was heard loud aswell. But close to u-bahn and a good place in central Kreuzberg. Close to Alexander Platz.
