I was staying here as part of an event and felt comfortable. The rooms are modern, well-kept and clean. The building itself also makes a very well-kept and clean impression. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast and the tasting in general was very good. All in all, I can definitely recommend the hotel.

I had the executive suite on the top floor for three days. The bathtub/shower was the smallest I have ever seen, the breakfast was so full I could not find a seat and the fitness center costs extra … there are too many other nice places to stay in Bamberg (those even closer to downtown), this is NOT a “do again”

The staff is friendly and attentive. The rooms are well equipped as standard. But you are looking for a minibar or a small refrigerator in vain. There are deductions for the bathroom. In the morning at 8 o'clock there was only cold water for showering and the effervescent head liked to fall down.

A well organized business hotel in Bamberg. Nice atmosphere, friendly people and good food.

Nice bar to spent couple time enjoing futball, good staff, big congres centre, free parking place, Nice room.

Price/performance perfectly fine. I can only recommend. It is not far from the city centre. For us, it was ideally located.

Great hotel with easy access to the core of Bamberg. Walk along the river 15 minutes and you are in the heart of Schlenkerla beer territory. This smokey bacon beer is a must try for the beer enthusiast. Welcome hotel also has a bar/restaurant that is packed on nights when soccer is on TV. Great buffet breakfast, friendly staff.

The Handicapped friendly rooms unfortunately currently only limited barrier-free for wheelchair users — obstacles are the beds with a total height of the lying area of approx. 70 cm! Thus increased risk of falling in the transfer. What a pity!
The situation in the bathroom/WC barrier-free according to DIN, good space, handicapped parking right in front of the entrance. Otherwise nice hotel, friendly staff, quaint evening restaurant Plückers with some regional delicacies, rich breakfast in breakfast room with large window front and view of the Regnitz.
This time for me the O. G. ' Barrier ' — the stay in the previous year 2017 I would have given full 5 stars…

Nice hotel, fitted for big groups. Arround 15 min walk to the center of the city. Nice staff and great food!

There is a fitness room and a great buffet. Besides, it's nice that hotel is so close to the water. You can walk nicely along the water. It doesn't take long to go to the city centre. Great Hotel!

Very nice hotel in a convenient location. The breakfast had a very big selection of items and the quality of everything was very good. The room was of decent size with a very comfortable bed. I was very impressed with the design of the hotel since it was shaped very like a ship. Highly recommend this hotel if coming to Bamberg.

We had a very nice stay and were great hosts. The building itself is worth a visit. Highly recommended.

This hotel doesn't have King beds. Gym is not free and very small. Over priced due to lack of competition. Location is not good, but view is good.

By and large a good hotel.
I've been here for the first time and been blessed with an upgrade to a suite.
Is nice spacious, clean and you have a great view of all the sights nearby.
It is all important within 10 min walking distance.
I would come back.

Were there organizers of a conference. The organization during the meeting, the breaks and also the evening buffet were perfect. So it's ideal for meetings. Room was ok, service at the reception always attentive. Perfect also the underground car park, sufficient space, wide entrance. That is how it should be.

We booked the hotel because of an event in the Congress Hall.
We were staying at the hotel U. Very happy with the location.
The breakfast buffet was more than adequate for us.

Rooms are quite and hotel 10 min from town center.

Comfortable hotel, walking distance from the center of Bamberg. Rooms are quite minimal, but nothing is lacking, also in the bathroom and size is OK. Excellent breakfast, with a wide variety of food and good quality. Also the restaurant nearby the hotel serves good food, even if a bit expensive. Overall, a comfortable choice for your staying in Bamberg, with quality sleeping: hotel is in a quiet area, right in front of the river.

Good location with clean, comfortable rooms. Great choice for breakfast and lunch. Good and friendly service. Parking is possible in the underground garage, but it costs something.

Modern Hotel. Without so many frills, basic furnishings, but, in the room, nothing is missing of the necessary. Quiet, on the riverbank, literally a 5 minute walk from the center. Good breakfast buffet with variety of food. Great Wi-Fi.

I was attending a congress. It's very well equipped and air conditioned and two excellend restaurants. Bamberg aus itself a great place to stay for a couple of days.

European style hotel with twin beds in most rooms. Modest accommodations but a great breakfast buffet included. I complained about a smell in my room and they moved me to another.

Centrally located, high quality Hotel in a beautiful Long on the river Regnitz. The bus station in the city centre, in front of the door. Urban underground garage, but the Parking ticket at the front Desk settled. Bright, modern, well-equipped rooms with free Wi-Fi. Friendly and competent staff. Good buffet Breakfast with Bavarian white sausages as a treat.

Very good food, nice waiters and not so expensive. Really like it and can recommend it.

It is difficult to find any faults with this well run hotel. The front desk staff are most friendly and helpful. My room was clean, well appointed and maintained. One minor quibble, as an American I am a custom to having a coffee maker in the room to enjoying an early morning coffee.

This is a very nice hotel right in the middle of Bamberg. The rooms are spacious and recently renovated. The breakfast in the morning has a good variety for American and German tastes. The location is great of you want to see the city and visit local bars and restaurants. I was on a business trip during the time I was here and I wish it would have been easier to reach the autobahn from the hotel, but that isn't a bad thing necessarily depending on what you are in Bamberg for. Bottom line, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Cabinets in a double room: 5 hotel ironing in a row, wholly inadequate for 2 people, which is more than a jeans and a T-shirt bring; the invention of the hose handle has not yet arrived at welcome
Pillows: Totally dented from the last century
Connecting door to the next room: conversations and television interfere due to lack of sound insulation sensitive when falling asleep

Unfortunately welcome hasn't done anything from the great location on the river Regnitz (terrace etc. )

Very nice hotel. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The employees are very friendly. The Hôtel is a 5 minutes from the old town (walking distance). The breakfast was very varied and good. The underground car park directly under the hotel was convenient.

I have visited your hotel during a Conference, twin, the cushion is too shallow, raises very poor sleep and migraine with me, the food is unfortunately just enough, very much ready food, especially the sauces and desserts. I spent 3 days there, there was not a lot of variety, fresh cuisine would be desirable.

Staff very nice and helpful. Rooms are large and clean. You missed nothing. The food is very good and it has a great selection. City Center is within 5 minutes walking distance. There is also an underground car park under the hotel. Only can recommend it.

I booked on the executive floor but NO king size beds. small and narrow bed with small duvet cover. would not recommend and will try another hotel next time myself.

The hotel location is within walking distance of the Old City Center along the river. The underground parking was convenient. The Plückers restaurant was very pleasant and good value. Breakfast was very generous. The only drawback was the twin beds. We asked for a double bed and were told that all the rooms had twin beds.

The room is nice and clean. Unfortunately something too dark to read a few lines before falling asleep. The light on the bed is not look bright and a ceiling lighting was not present.
The bathroom was clean. The angeschimmelten joints in the corners of the shower were small blemishes and morning it smelled like something penetrating chlorine and urine from the Bodenablusss.
The staff is friendly and helpful and the breakfast has a wide selection, in which everyone should find something. For our taste, the coffee was too strong and too bitter and too thin cocoa. However we could switch to tea. On the whole, the hotel is to recommend.

We had three nights (August 2015) in the simplest rooms that we were very convinced: clean, size sufficient for two persons, was cleaned every day.
The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast buffet offers enough selection of cheeses and sausages, as well as yogurt, cereal, cakes, bread and rolls selection, sausages, scrambled eggs, etc…
You can use an underground car park with direct access to the hotel, the price for 24 hours is 6 euros.
On the river Regnitz along walking beautifully in about 15 minutes to the old town.
For us as a whole a recommended hotel, we would book again.

Not enough outlets in the room. Bed terrible. Coffee was just so. Otherwise top rooms. Breakfast also. You have to try the beer Keller… SUPER. The food in the cosy restaurant was also good. The staff at the hotel were friendly and obliging. Recommended with splitter cable for charging of electrical appliances.

Nice and modern organized hotel. Good location with pittoresque view on the rivers. Nice and friendly staff. Pricing vs. What you get is great. Rooms are quiet and well set up. Breakfast is excellent and restaurant Plückers (good food for less money) has a collaboration with the hotel so you can make reservations thrue the hotel. Great parking space below (ask for a permanent parking ticket! ) The only thing why I gave this hotel a 3 star is because of 2 things which were some little black spots of fungus in the shower (nothing major but I got the feeling the room wasn't clean but the rest was clean), second was a sewer smell I smelled when I entered the room which was to blame that the fosset wasn't used in a while. It appeared in the next few days that was the problem because when I used the bathroom the smell was gone. Overall a great performance and we visit this hotel next year.
