Nice hotel, great location.

I travel a lot in hotels, quite good hotels. However, the Hotel Metropol is my favorite hotel. Less than ten minutes walk from the main train station and yet very quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast just top notch.

Super family run hotel in the city center, very easy to reach by public transport.
On our early arrival there were first two cappuccinos, shortly afterwards we received the key card for our large and quiet room located on the courtyard side. An unobtrusive, loving furnishing and above all a very good contact with the employees, that is already unique. It is pleasant to feel that they work hand in hand for the guests. Fortunately, we opted for the breakfast buffet, here everything is available in a very good quality. On the day of departure, we were able to use the room until the departure of our train, i. E. From arrival to departure: Many thanks to the Maier family and the great staff for the wonderful time of the Ehrlich/Feldmann family.

What is there to recommend? Quiet side street, walking distance to train station and city center, Very friendly staff, tastefully decorated room, good mattress, wonderful breakfast!

We stayed for four days and we’re very comfortable. The room was very clean, nicely furnished and had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and had everything you could possibly want. The Hotel is located very close to public transport and near attractions. We will stay there again when we are in Munich.

Nice hotel with a great, very clean, room.
The breakfast really leaves nothing to be desired and the staff is without exception super friendly and very attentive.
The proximity to the main station is great if you arrive by train — walk of 3 minutes! The Marienplatz is also within walking distance. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

My third visit is almost just around the corner. The two before that have been remembered very positively. Beautiful rooms, friendly staff and great breakfast buffet. Just a few steps from the main train station and still wonderfully quiet. Even as a solo traveler person is super in take care. When we arrived for two, we also got a small upgrade. Yay. I also find the price more than fair! Only to be recommended!

Great hotel in middle of munich on a busy street, receptionist is attentive and welcoming.

Hello Dear Münchenbesucher. This hotel is by far the worst service I have ever encountered on all my trips. No Kullanz of the local staff and the management who apparently comes from Arabia and brings the mentality to Germany. Surely you can imagine how surprised I was when I arrived in the tired at the hotel, and was welcomed there unfriendly because I had my little family member a little Maltese. Pets are not allowed in this hotel. That would be acceptable to me, but the hotel has insisted on the full payment of the room. No Kullanz! Disrespectfully, the gentleman at the reception asked me if I could actually be German. Is that to be believed? To get heard from a foreigner?! An absolute insolence! So dear Münchenbesucher, if you want to do this, a house full of Arabs (by this time I had a good opinion of these people) and to be treated disrespectfully, then you absolutely must visit this hotel! But I can only advise you — worst hotel ever.

Location is the best possible location. Facilities are nice and the apartment was very well maintained. Could have had a better value for money being the only downside.

Great location. Needed a place for two nights for the family in the center of Munich and this was the only available room for a family. That being said, I also don't like sharing my room with a family of crawling disgusting cockroaches. The desk manager acted as if it wasn't a big deal, like a third world country. Had to look outside to make sure I was still in Munich and not Guatemala We should have been moved immediately without discussion of the finer points of entomology. All I know being on this earth for a half century is where there's ONE cockroach the family is very close by. If you have a choice, and there is many, don't stay here. I have made the mistake for you. Tried to add photo of said cockroach (it was very photogenic) to this review but no attachment button. Should also add that I believe in Karma, so this review is very truthful.

It is very central to everything. Arrival by train from the airport is very comfortable and the whole centre is a step. You do not even need a meter. Are the apartments very clean with 24-hour reception. You have fruit in the room every day, and coffee in reception when you want to. It is an area noisy but bearable. The atmosphere is a little gray around the station (halls, betting, sex shops, clubs. But in no time these restless.
