They always have someone at the reception greeting guest and they give free drink vouchers. There is also a lift and free all you can eat breakfast. The location is near the main station. The bathrooms are quite clean. Had a great time here.

It's a regular hostel. The beds are soft, the bed is clean. The showers and toilets are clean. Breakfast is included. The big advantage of the hostel is its location. A couple of hundred meters from the central station.

Nice hostel, booked for a reasonable price. Traveling atmosphere, nice breakfast zone with open terrace. Don't expect luxury here, but "All you can eat" breakfast is a good deal.

This place is located in the market and is very close to some attractions, such as hiking to attractions such as the St. Milton's Church in Munich, which takes only about 10 minutes, and five minutes from the nearby metro station. By far the best hostel I have stayed in! Amazing staff, clean, good breakfast and an awesome bar with wicked bar tenders I cant wait to stay there again in a few weeks! Last stay was a few years back and I actually changed my trip to go back to Munich and stay at the hostel for a longer period of time! Cant wait to see everyone!

I was in room 202, 12 beds, a table close to the door, big windows, couple of chairs. The room and the beds are clean and it looks like the staff cleans it everyday. The staff look like they are home and like they really like to take care of the place, people are responsive and I had no trouble using my English. They do take care of exaggerated noise so you will probably have a good night of sleep. The bar is nice, but it also depends on people attending, so I think it depends on who is staying with you, and the staff that takes care of the bar is also super nice (you get a free beverage ticket per night). The breakfast was perfect for me, cereals (4 types, including the ones with lots of different dry fruits), bread, eggs, lots of cheese and meat, milk, coffee and juice, butter and jellies, it felt like I could eat forever. The neighborhood has supermarkets, bars, parties, the main bus station is super close (6 minutes) and there's a Biergarten right in front of it. Liked the place.

A simple hostel with additional double rooms with private bathroom. The hostel has been very old but there is everything you need. It is cheap but the cleanliness leaves to be desired. My double bed room was well stocked in the bathroom and in bed with strange hair.

I spent two nights at this hostel. In itself it has a very good location near the central station of Munich. However, the rooms leave to be desired. The rooms were very small for four people, we had a very dirty chair in the room and the bedding was broken.
Also the breakfast the next morning was very skinny and in the dining room it was cold.
At night the night was not kept, it was very noisy.
The bathroom was doorknobs and the bathroom was very comfortable.
For the high price I would have expected more.
Finally, I have to say that the staff was very nice.

I stayed for 3 days but paying daily since it was not sure time I would stay. At the end of the breakfast, I approached the reception desk to pay for each day and the 2nd day the cleaning staff of the room withdrew all my things arrojandolas to the closet, I thought it was a problem because of the ignorance that was still occupying the room and report to reception what had happened, again to review my stuff a few missing which, again, I did inform reception telling me that they would make inquiries the next day in the morning as it was 6pm approx. The next day was my departure day and it was Saturday I walked before breakfast to ask and a lord of the receipt rubio (the only blond) very annoyed I said that I already knew and that I was going to ask, well I told him that that day I was leaving and that after breakfast I would return to give me an answer for my things that were small for a value of €15 but didn't have because lost, nor have thrown my belongings and those of my girls in the closet as if they were any thing and expect a solution. Finally already after breakfast with my luggage and my 2 girls and this guy still hadn't asked anything when he saw me freshly I would like to ask the head of house keeping if they knew anything and they told me that the lady who did the cleaning was free day and that is comunicarian with her and let me stop… sorry I said how much do I have to wait? 5 minutes told me this, lord, then wait.

Great location, cheap and very clean, unfortunately but often very noisy student groups to guest and the staff does not intervene. Ideal for teen, for everyone else — especially families with smaller children — useless. What a pity.

Typical older hostel with a great breakfast and decent bar. Bathrooms are not the best, but everything works. Large cages to store belongings under the bed, and large free access luggage room (lockers are not free).

Very central. Hotel above is OK. Breakfast good. Many groups. Room was large. Great price. For Munich again gladly.

Close to the center of the city, buffet breakfast included, atmosphere full of young students, very good in price / quality ratio. When you arrive they will give you 1 drink for each night of stay.

Well located but very old hostel that needs remodeling ASAP. Staff is a very typical German who will help you only if you ask him to. Rooms are old and not very clean. The best part is that they offer buffet breakfast though there isn't a big selection of food with average quality. It has a fair price comparing to what they offer.

Only on my second booking did I get it and learn that you have to pay for the beverage voucher when you book your room! (see picture) She didn't know what to do with the hostel. Since the phone call was unpleasant, she gave me neither drink nor account.
The other one forgot a room magnet and could not apologize for their mistake, said instead that it would not matter anyway. (if that were the case, you wouldn't get it and the guest wouldn't have to pay the damage at checkout! )
A little later she played billiards during her working hours.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.
After a check-in error, I was very unpleasantly taken by the reception manager to take care of organizational problems from reception sites.
An absolute no go! Especially since I am not even a private person visiting the hostel, but in the context of a group (with external contact person and cost object) in this hostel.

As you can read in the other posts, the equipment is very rundown. Feel-good factor equals zero. No shower gel or toilet paper available, all very cheap, old and consumed. Even the escape route door is locked and after forwarding the information to the reception line, one is still foolishly made from the side.
My summary: Unfriendly management, rundown equipment, service/Service error message. All in all, a real reincarnation.

Was great and very friendly staff but the E-key was so unusually big lol.

Good prices for the location. Located a block from the main train station its very convenient for layovers. The larger 10 person room can be noisy but that is to be expected. Staff were friendly and fluent in English.

Nice also because for each person they give you tickets where in the hotel bar then take three free drinks… But the Wi-Fi is poor.

Wonderful hostel with very good service, the Germans are super friendly.

We stayed for 2 nights there and never again rate it all from the rooms are small cold dark and very antique outfitting even the rezepzionistin had no desire to work and very poorly placed opposite the guests of the upper Hammer no shower gel no toilet paper and no water On the room to drink however, a kettle with a lot of lime… very catastrophic it is close to the center yes but not recommended.

Good hostel with friendly personall. Went there during Oktoberfest so the hostel was a bit crowded but it was nice. You get two free drinks when you arrive that's also a big plus point! It was a really pleasant stay here.

Very good location A good gesture is to include in the price of the room a drink per night in the bar of the hostel. The only thing he lacks is to have a kitchen to be able to prepare or heat food.

Great breakfast! The have lockers and it's very close to the city centre. Totally recommend! Price is only 15 Euros per night and it includes breakfast. It has a nice bar and they give a free drink every night you stay. Whether it is water, beer or coffee.

One of the best hostels I've ever been in. Lowest price, that also includes a very nice breakfast: muesli and sandwiches stuff, eggs, a lot of jams, fruit salat, coffee/tea/juice. I also found the lighting in the breakfast room great — it was genius to make it a bit dark, not so intense as usual people do. After you've checked in, you got a coupon for free drink in a bar — it's super nice too. There was noisy in the night, but since it is a hostel with a lot of young people there it's kind of normal and sometimes even funny.

A total of 1 star for "Almost Everything"! Sanitary facilities were very dirty. Water taps did not work in some cases. Lots of hair on the floor and on the sink, even tomorrow at half past seven after the cleaning staff was through. The Breakfast on Saturday (13.01) was worth 0 points. The buns very old and flabby. Very tricky toast. No toaster. Multijuice was empty. Just horrible. 5 stars for the reception staff.

I went two years ago. Friendly staff, they have some boxes with grating and padlock under the beds, practical to feel more secure. The showers are clean enough. As far as the location, close to the bus and train station, and generally close to the good thing of Munich on foot. I recommend it!

Very close to the central train station. Very friendly and attentive, they already include a drink as well as breakfast and even though the bathrooms are in common they are very clean. Breakfast is very good and varied. Very well to all.

The location is very easy to reach. The rooms are a little bit small with quite recent furnishings, shared bathrooms kept constantly clean. Enjoy the free drinks that you can eat in the bar located inside the hostel. Breakfast acceptable as there is a good vastness of choice. Recommended.

Centrally located (about 5 minutes walk from the central train station, and 10 minutes from Marienplatz) offers comfortable dorms and private rooms, Wi-Fi in all areas, charging station and lights above every beds. There's a free breakfast and a free drink for every night of stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful… probably one of my favorite hostel.

The service is excellent, the staff friendly, allow you to leave the luggage before check in and after the check out no problem… Breakfast is passable. But their facilities if they let you wish, you get what you pay for… It's OK if you just need to spend the night as any hostel, but if it's light dirty (sheets)

Great hostel, close to train station and Metro. The staff is very helpful. Each bed has its own outlet and light. The bathrooms are clean but not brand new. Breakfast is included.

For the price, it's very correct. The service is nice, the breakfast ultra copious (a will), the rooms are clean. A little more for the 2 free drinks, but a small downside for the showers where you can not ask anything… In summary, a rather good address well located, near the station.

This place is really lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is great. There is an area for people to meet, do laundry and grab the occasional drink. My one small problem us the beds are quite uncomfortable and very small. The location is great as it is near the center and within easy walking distance of several modes if transportation.

The location is good, right across from the train station. The staff are friendly enough and the free breakfast is nice (cereal, canned fruit, bread, jam, coffee, etc. ) The facilities are however, not in very good shape. One of the sinks didn't work. The showers were quite strange with an uneven flow. The worst part though, was that I felt very itchy all night and into the next day. I've never experienced this at a hostel before and can only assume it was bedbugs. Glad I only stayed one night.

The hostel kinda worth its money, but it could be better. The room wasn't clean at all, the smell was awfully, even if no one was there. There is no shelf to put your toiletries in the shower, it's really uncomfortable. Be aware that you have to rent towels for 2 euro if you're staying in a shared room. The breakfast was okayish, but the coffee really could be better. The staff isn't very helpful, every time I asked something the looked at me like they were making a favour answering. But it's sort of cheap and just one block from the central railway station and three blocks from the central bus station.

Located a few steps from Munich Central Station. The best prices, the reception and the atmosphere very friendly. To recommend.

Really really basic, bed was clean and made but the rest of the room look old and dirty. The whole room smelled of sweat without people in it. The beds are very small… like not even 1.90m in length… The elevator was somewhat shocky. The showers small and you couldn't be naked in them according to the rules, the stalls were to small so you kinda had to change in public and break the rules. 2 toilets a floor which caused me to try after a few hours… Bad experience.

I (with 2 others) stayed in a private room with 2 beds and it was pretty much a hotel. Room size was great, clean sheets and towels. That staff was super helpful: holding our key while we went out, providing maps and things to do, and offering us a free drink when we arrived. The included breakfast was ok, there were so many people eating that it was hard to get exactly what you wanted. Seemed the kitchen staff couldn't keep up. Besides the wait and shortage of selection, it was really convenient. One of the nicer hostels I've stayed in.

There is no such thing as sleep in this hostel. The party continues past 3 AM each night and the windows to every dorm room open up to the noisy courtyard in the center. With no air conditioning, the windows are always open. The "six bed" rooms are actually 12 beds in a co-ed room. In the morning around 6 AM, residents are either up packing, checking out, or staff are refitting sheets to beds and forcefully shaking out blankets. Earplugs are essentially useless. The lights flicker in the women's bathroom on every floor, it seems as though it is not maintained well or even cleaned regularly. There is often hair left lying on the floor for days. Towels are for hire for only €2, you get drink vouchers (that you need a €0.50 deposit on the bottles to use), and the staff are friendly. I would never book here again.

I like very nice a nice and cheap hostel.

To be a budget hotel does its duty, of course it is not the best of cleanliness and service but at that price it is fine, there are also free drinks and breakfast. Maybe if they change the elevator…

Located close to the train station in a quiet street. Very international meetings. (Japanese, Chinese, Korean South American.

It was adequate for the price, but there are MUCH better hostels in Munich. The atmosphere in this one was unpleasant. People were not very social, the staff was not friendly, and the common areas were usually empty, even though the hostel was full. If you just need a place to sleep it is fine, but if you want to visit with people stay elsewhere.

La fenêtre, cassée, ne fermait pas alors qu'il faisait un froid de canard dehors, pas de bonde a la baignoire, j'ai donc du donner le bain a ma fille de 1 an dans la poubelle…
Le Wi-Fi était HS, et a l'accueil ils n'ont rien pu faire pour moi, et d'ailleurs ils s'en fichaient!
Certains touristes remplissaient des sacs entiers avec le pain (sec…) du buffet du petit dejeuner, et encore une fois le staff s en fichait royalement!
Alors OK c'est bien placé et pas trop cher…
The broken window didnt close, it was really cold outside… There was no cap on the bathtub, so I had to give a bath to my toadler into… the trash box.
the Wi-Fi was out of order, and the girl at the reception couldn't do anything about my problems, in fact she didnt care at all.
Some tourists filled bags with the bread for the morning breakfast, the staff seemed to not care at all.
ok the location is good and its cheap, but think twice before booking here.

The first night my bag was stolen with my mb. I had 4 witnesses. I did not report it as knew they would or could do nothing, (and I am right, having reported an assault by a woman, who spat on me the blonde receptionist started laughing and then said she had same the same thing. However she only did that this morning having seen me take the one receptionist aside and speak to her privately. On the day it happened, she avoided coming downstairs while I was there for over 3 hours at reception having also told them the other woman in the room was a witness to the abuse. The blonde hair woman seemed to prefer the version of a homeless old german woman who clearly has mental issues to the illogical explanation of my first reporting it. Why on earth would I make up a story like that? After all it is not like I am going to sue the hostel for breach of duty of care or anything like that or Tort…) ). As we did not "see the person do it". Only we all knew, and he had not only stolen from me. The man, romanian gypsy, clearly had not been staying in the room or had and then booked out remarkably right after I left my bag with my mb phone in the room obviously that was my own responsibility. NO money had been left in the bag. When we all came back from a walk to a restaurant, the mans bed was empty. I knew the reception would say just call the police and they would not do anything about it. On two other nights I had the pleasure of bed bugs in the female dorm.

Super Hostel! Super Leute! Super nettes Flair! Really really nice.

The welcome was friendly and we were able to check in in the morning. Until the room was ready, could be stored our Luggage in the Luggage room, so we took a relaxing walk through Munich. The room was functional and clean, we had not expected it to be different. A 8-bed room. Very good that was had every bed on a socket, a lamp and 2 USB ports. We slept well and the Vfl won with 2:0 against the lions and the Ticket for the next round posted. After a short Breakfast, which was included in the price, we have our return trip relaxed have begun.

Great location, close the city centre and transport links. Private shared room for 4 small, however well kept for the price.

Clean, well functioning dorms and very nice modern common bathrooms. Free breakfast included had many food and drink choices. For the price per night it's an outstanding place.

Located 10 min walk from Marienplatz and 2 min from the central railway station, this hostel boasts many amenities such as bar, common rooms, laundry and this pretty well. Four room was quite small and very small berths. The bathroom was shared and used to be saturated. The good news is in the price including breakfast and dining room was quite spacious and the supply of food was very varied.

Too small rooms, if it is not small in stature. No closets. Disgusting stains on the wall which resemble bird droppings or something like that. Windows can not be closed, was cobbled together only with cheap Baumarktschanieren makeshift. 1 socket for 4 people. 1970 okay, but not today! Only 1 Chair in the room, but for 4 rubbish bins. The meaning does not follow me. Staff unbelievable.
Location + breakfast are all okay!
Conclusion: The first and last time that I slept in as a "hostel".

I had the pleasure to spend 2 nights in the "hostel"
The beds are so hard and uncomfortable that the sidewalk in front of the hostel is convenient
In addition, the bunk beds are so low that you don't can sit in the lower bed but a 6 bed room has a table with all 2 chairs
The window was completely in the bucket the large one could not even make it to and you could just open the second
Something does not exist such as cabinets
There are only grid boxes under the bed
The bathrooms have to be desired.
The only thing was positive, the rooms were clean but it's also everything.
The breakfast is the price according to üpig

The highlight of breakfast is the toaster
Staff was in short supply, and you who were there were pissed off and stressed out.

Very good hostel in a prime location for Munich. I was very comfortable there and found the staff to be incredibly friendly and attentive. They also have a bar on the lower floor, so you can stay in-go out for the night. Great value for the the price. (There was a bartender there in the summer of 2010 who was the absolute friendliest person I met on my trip. I was fairly lonely my first few days travelling alone and she definitely made me feel at home. I believe her name was Katrina and she was from Seattle originally. If she's still around tip her well. ).

I was there with friends to the Oktoberfest. The room was not really clean and the staff is totally stressed out. Baths outdated and dirty. To do this the high price. Rude.

Big hostel, two bars filled with people and one of them has a pool table. Good music plays. Beer is sold at standard prices. Beds are smaller than usual but very clean and comfortable. Bathrooms in every floor, sufficient for everyone. Overall very good value for money with rooms starting at €15. A mere 2 minutes from the central train station.
