Exceptional staff, service, room, breakfast, and spaces. Great value. Check in was a lovely encounter. Enjoyed complimentary beer in lounge. The room very stylish and immaculately maintained. The breakfast the nicest hotel experience we can recall and beautiful presentation. We loved our stay and will look into returning in the future. The proximity to train station and sightseeing was perfect!

We really enjoyed the hotel. It was clean, modern, lovely rooms and great breakfast. The area close to the train terminal felt a little sketchy. But once you were about a block away it was all good. I think the convenience to the train station was great but with the location comes with its issues. We would probably stay again for the reason the hotel was so great. Staff helpful, friendly, clean rooms and all that you would want from a hotel.

Very nice hotel, next to the station, 5 minutes to the historic center, delicious and varied breakfast with two kinds of champagne, there are fresh, American pancakes with maple syrup, etc. Great internet, nice bar in the hotel lobby, room small but comfortable, no Russian and Ukrainian TV channels (this is a minus). The reception is friendly and polite staff. I recommend the hotel.

An excellent hotel, clean, nice refreshing color combinations, very friendly staff. I can highly recommend the hotel. A peaceful island in the middle of a typical train station neighborhood. Perfect if you take a train to/from Munich. Ms. Valentina Pergami from the front desk is one of the most helpful and friendly front desk persons my husband and I ever encountered in any hotel anywhere in the world. A minor temporary problem was the only thing that warrants overall score 9 rather than 10.

The location, amenities, service, room, and especially the breakfast were all incredible. It felt like home. I would only caution that if you are going to park a car, use the upper lot (a few more euros/ day than the underground). The underground drive way is VERY small and difficult to get out of. Would stay again, the hotel is wonderful. Also, you have to try the pancakes at the breakfast!

The hotel is in easy walking distance from the main train station and the old town area which made it convenient for us to sightsee. The staff answered all of our questions and gave great advice about taking trams, restaurants, and taking the airport shuttle. We were always welcome when we entered and greeted with chocolates and free drinks because we booked directly with the hotel. They even made a dinner reservation for us before we arrived because I couldn't make it online. I can't say enough positive about everyone on the staff. They were so helpful and friendly. The rooms were very quiet. Like most large city rooms, our room was not extremely large, but it was laid out well and the bathroom was large. Wi-Fi was excellent and the air conditioning greatly appreciated on the hot days. Breakfast was delicious and offered a large variety as choices. In the room was an Internet enabled phone for us to use, free of charge, while were in Munich. What a great perk! We used it extensively to get directions and read about the city. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

I chose the Marc because there was hardly a bad review in the bunch that I read. Now I see why. I had a nice sized room with a large bed and large bathroom that I could extend my arms and not touch the wall. There was a tub in shower. Breakfast was outstanding down to fresh squeezed juice and green juice shots. The proximity to the central station was convenient and the staff were polite and helpful. I would surely stay there again.

This is our go-to place to stay in Munich. Super close to the train station and a short walk to the historic center of town. The staff has always been so courteous and helpful, and even gave us a nice gift when we came a few years ago to celebrate my 30th birthday/our 1st anniversary. They have an awesome breakfast buffet, too, so you can get your fill before heading out for a day of sightseeing.

I had a most enjoyable stay. They provided impeccable service, very warm welcome, a beautifully comfortable bed and wonderful breakfast. My spacious room faced the street but was completely quiet, and nicely decorated. I could not fault anything, and my stay far exceeded my expectations — can thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting to have a great experience in Munich.

I stayed at the hotel on a short business break. This was a very clean and tidy hotel but more importantly I found the staff there to be extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were a good size and extremely well maintained. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone considering a stay in Munich.

Great hotel. I am more than satisfied. The rooms are clean, the beds super comfortable. The staff very nice, the parking convenient and the breakfast just great! The location is great. The main station is 2 minutes away and the Marienplatz is also very well within walking distance. The very central location at the main station also brings out the typical railways… but you can't have everything and then you shouldn't book a hotel at the station. I liked it very much and I will only book this hotel when I drive to Munich.

Wonderful little hotel, very conveniently located near the Main Station. Clean, generous and quiet rooms. Very nice service and a super yummy breakfast buffet! I stayed a week for a Business trip and would return any time.

Enjoyed our one night stay here. Close to the station in a quiet road. Clean hotel, friendly reception gentleman and friendly waiters. Excellent breakfast and service. Room was spacious enough. I would recommend.

It was my first time, for two nights, all run perfectly. The service is impeccable, amenities waiting for you in the room. The breakfast included in my offer was really good. The courtesy for 2 PM late check-out was all I needed before my long flight to Brazil. Congratulations to all staff.

I felt very comfortable at Marc München. The room was very clean and very nice and large. You have responded to our wishes and have done everything to make our stay as beautiful as possible. The reception was busy at all times and the staff was always very friendly. I would like to highlight the breakfast, there was something for everyone and it tasted very good. The only thing you could improve is that you should have the possibility to have breakfast at least until at 11:00 am, as most people on holiday would like to sleep.

Fabulous hotel 2 steps from Munich Central Station. We had a great time, we had to go back to Monaco and we would definitely come here.
Breakfast is extremely rich and varied and the rooms are spacious and welcoming. Very pleasant hot towels and chocolates in the room on our arrival. Highly recommended!

The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly.
Rooms are tastefully decorated and the bathroom as well as the shower is very generous sized.
For large vehicles, parking spaces for €16 are provided in the courtyard.

Room OK, there and there a bit dusty. Staff super friendly and there is an excellent breakfast. Highly recommended!

My son and I have been to Munich more often on a weekend.
But so far always in another hotel.

Was in January 2018 with my adult daughter at this hotel. Very close to the train station and the staff were very helpful. Very clean hotel. Room quiet also to side street. Beds Great! Breakfast really tasty — nothing was missing. But above all a thank you to the staff. No matter where, whether at the reception, at breakfast, … All very friendly, helpful with great tips and suggestions around Munich. We will be happy to return and recommend the hotel to anyone.

Incredibly comfortable and pleasant place to stay. The sheets were very soft, and the room was impressively clean. The breakfast was equally excellent, and honestly some of the best hotel food I've ever had. It is walking distance from the downtown transit terminal, so it is fantastically convenient. The only thing that bothered me was the youth hostel across the street was occasionally loud, but that was a minor issue.

Fantastic hotel located in the center of Munich. Very reasonable rates for the high quality of rooms and service. Rooms are immaculate and have been recently remodeled. Breakfast is a delicious buffet and included in the price. If you book through their own website you'll get a voucher for a free drink at the bar. I have stayed here numerous times for 2-3 nights each and will keep coming back. I have previously stayed at the Le Meridien nearby and I prefer this hotel.

Very friendly staff, great and modern room furnishings and very good breakfast.
3 Stars for the following reason: For me personally the cleanliness in a hotel is the most important. A lot of dust on or At the facility, mildew in the shower and room service is poor (no daily duvet cover although stains were visible until afternoon no room service).
Otherwise a super chic hotel with great location (5-10min from the centre), if it still sparks with cleanliness, I will definitely come back;)

This hotel is about 2 blocks from the Munich Central Train station, but being close to the station, the neighborhood walking to the hotel is not great. Once inside the hotel, it is well appointed, very helpful staff, very clean, comfortable rooms (get a quiet room facing the courtyard), with an excellent buffet breakfast. No other meals are served, except for the breakfast. Easy walk to downtown Munich. I would definitely use this hotel again.

The hotel is very nice. The rooms are a good size and the beds are comfortable. The lobby is a great place for an after dinner cocktail. Breakfast was amazing — with great options. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

The hotel is well designed for comfort and convenience and the staff helpful and welcoming. The hotel room is spacious with a great bathroom. All details thought of in design — magnifying mirror, tissues, easy to use soaps and shampoo, small and large bedside light, enough room for suitcase and to unpack into wardrobe, no drawers — open shelves so you don't leave anything behind,. Breakfast is outstanding. Service is helpful when needed but not intrusive. Area where located convenient to railway however like most cities a downmarket area with hostels, bars etc — along with high price during Oktoberfest — these are only downsides.

We chose the hotel because it had many very good reviews, its proximity to the train station & the old city's sites, and reasonably priced. The room was much larger than what we had expected for a room in Europe, well appointed and sparkling clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the room was very quiet / no street or hallway noise, housekeeping attentive to our needs, breakfasts were excellent, and the entire staff was friendly, professional, & helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend Marc Munchen.

After arriving on the train from the airport, my husband and I were unsuccessful finding a cab. Remembering that the hotel was not too far from the station, we started following our gps. When suddenly we got separated. My husband found the hotel, I continued to walk thinking I would find it easily. After 1/2 hour walking, I realized I was lost, then grabbed a taxi to the Marc, and we were reunited! The reception staff showed great concern while I was missing, and seemed joyful that I finally arrived.

Fabulous position. Just cross the road from the main station and down one street. The area is not the cleanest, but super easy for transportation. It is a very easy 15/20 minute walk to the centre of town (straight down the road). Large modern room and bathroom. Staff at reception were fantastic. Nothing was a problem for them. (We needed to change rooms for one with a shower). I would really like to thank the French gentleman at receptions — (Claude I hope that is his name). He was so helpful to myself and my mother in law. Great breakfast. I also thought the offer of bottled water when checking out was really nice.

I liked the hotel. The room is large, well-equipped. The air conditioner works perfectly! The bed is comfortable. Breakfast is good, corresponds to 4 *. Located two minutes from the central station.

The hotel was easy to find and very conveniently located near the central train station. It was easy walking distance to art museums and the center part of Munich and the English Gardens. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel is quiet. The breakfast served each morning was ample. The only thing that could be improved is access and recommendations for restaurants for dinner. Other than one Italian restaurant nearby, there is only street food available — pizza and sandwiches.

It is a very good hotel, well cared for in detail and that, given the location near the central station, is highly recommended. Not too cheap, but on the other hand in the average price of Monaco. Excellent breakfast. You have the impression of living in an aseptic environment but, as you stop in the hotel, the atmosphere becomes familiar and the apparent coldness of the premises, turns into a relaxing and even warm atmosphere. I will certainly come back if you have the chance. The staff is helpful and even sly, up to be nice.

Perfectly located hotel. Decent breakfast. The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet courtyard. Like a rain shower in the bathroom and tea in the room. Conveniently, that beside the bed there are lamps specifically for reading. In room no bathrobes, but at my request they brought slippers. All the employees are very friendly and always willing to help. Easily navigable place for car parking. I would recommend this hotel and woke herself with it during the following trips to Munich.

I have reviewed this on TripAdvisor where I is rated out of all hotels in Munich, summary is: come and get it while the recent renovation is still fresh, treat yourself to one of the best breakfast buffets around, and bask in the pride and courtesy of a professional staff. This is a great place, the neighborhood is not exactly great (which is why I give this 4 instead of 5), but very close to major destinations and center of city.

Stayed here for three nights in September, 2014. Fabulous and friendly front desk service with easy check-in and out. Breakfast was the best of all hotels we stayed in during two week in Bavaria. There is a water dispenser in the lobby which is a great touch since water is not as plentiful in restaurants as in the US. Room is good size with lots of storage. Beds are comfortable. Street is mentioned in many reviews as "sketchy" but we found the street to be vibrant and active with young people staying in several hostels. I felt safe and comfortable. Location excellent and quiet, off the main street where the train station is located in easy walking distance. Overall, a great experience.

I spent a marvellous day and a half at the Marc München. The front desk service was exemplary, the room very comfortable and clean, and the breakfast offered an excellent buffet choice. The hotel is well located, and there are many reasonably priced eateries all round, so the lack of a restaurant did not bother me at all. The recommendations were excellent, and every question I had was answered very satisfactorily. I felt as though I was being treated as a very special guest, and nothing beats that feeling! I return there later this week, and look forward very much indeed to experiencing more of the same.

Stayed with wife at Marc in the end of November 2012. Unfortunately I left at their things: male and female underwear, t-shirts, etc. In a closet in the room in the package for the Laundry. I called the reception 3-4 hours after departure, and asked to find my things. I call back several times, but they could not find my stuff and asked to call back the next day. In the end I wrote a letter to the hotel and informed that come specially for the things in the hotel through the day. When I arrived the reception started to someone and somewhere to call. But things did not show up. I think nobody was looking. Nobody even apologized and I left for the airport. Things are good, sorry. A good value. Gift for хаускипинг.
