Great food & service love it.

I can only recommend the Freisinger Hof, very nice welcome when arriving you feel right at home, breakfast was very extensive and very tasty the staff is very accommodating. Even as a disabled person you are very welcome.
Simply incredibly great.

The restaurant in the Freisinger Hof delivers first-class dishes.
We had fried scampi on leaf salads for starters, as main courses half a duck and cannelloni filled with grilled vegetables and as dessert crème brûlée with chocolate ice cream and iced apricot dumplings. Everything tasted great!
In addition, it is beautiful to sit outside and the staff, especially Sammy, was extremely friendly!
We would love to come back! :-)

We look forward to the wonderful team every time. And the wonderful menus and wines are excellent. Hopefully we can enjoy the wonderful atmosphere in the restaurant and in the beer garden again quite soon. Luckily, there's a very tasty pampering — To Go offer until then. Thank you very much for that.

There is Nice food and atmosphere. No so much cheep, but it should be acceptable price as around 50-60 euro per person in dinner.

I was here at a wedding. The place is great, with a very quiet garden, close to the Isar and the Englischer Garten. The food and service were also very good.

For occasions, such as funerals or birthdays certainly beautiful. Very nicely furnished inn, as it is with an old farmhouse, nice that you have preserved this. The food there (menu) was also really good, in the apple strudel was unfortunately a bit of alcohol, otherwise nothing to worry about. But if you look at the normal food, you have to shake your head a bit, the prices are already very high.

Not only a good hotel … also a great restaurant … perfect place.

Beautiful meeting rooms with lots of light. The snacks offered, such as cakes, sweet pieces and pastries, were very good. The food in the garden of the restaurant also in an extremely nice ambience and professional friendly waiters. Here it is easy to stand with large groups. The food is also nicely prepared and delicious.

We enjoyed our stay! The owners were very caring and made the place feel homey.

We were able to celebrate our wedding here on June 15, 2018. A super attentive and friendly staff. Pre-meeting including menu planning received us without any problems and very lovingly. Eating as always excellent and all the plates were completely eaten. The strawberry bowl was a hit. Decoration with love and suitable for the bridal bouquet. A very clear recommendation and we are happy to continue to come by. And a big thank you from us — you made sure that we had a dream wedding all around.

My favorite place for Bavarian / Austrian cuisine.

So Lala. The food is OK, usually even good but it does not agree with the prices. In particular, as often the portions are not so lush.

Very good and stylish restaurant with very pleasant ambiance. The tasting has been on a consistently high level for years and the service is exemplary and attentive. The very well-assorted wine list and the selection of Digestifs are also noteworthy.

One summer evening outdoor at their Biergarten restaurant. Solid Bavarian kitchen on an decently high level, perhaps a little heavy for a non local stomach. The service was impeccable, and the price level very reasonable.

I ate two appetizers, both of which were very good. My wife ate a table pointed that was very dry. We suspect that he was left behind yesterday. In order to be able to say lifted or top, we will try the restaurant again! Everyone gets a second chance.

Ich bewerte hier nur das Restaurant, nicht das Hotel. Hier gibt's sehr gute österreichische Küche und Weine in gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Einziges Manko: manche Speisen sind zu sehr gesalzen. Nämlich: der Krustenbraten, Krautsalat, Steinbutt und die Kartoffeln zum Zwiebelrostbraten. Auch scheint der Ursprung der Brühe vom Tafelspitz der Brühwürfel zu sein. Positiv hervorheben möchte ich die aufgeschäumten Suppen und das Rinder-Carpaccio. Auch die Desserts sind ausgezeichnet.

I would Like to award 5 Stars, as we rate this as One of The best restaurants in Munich (and beyond) by Essen (selection & quality), cosy & suitable furnishings as well as value for money!
Unfortunately, the Opening Hours — especially on Weekends are very unfavorable —. V. A. Since we have been Parents and prefer To go — instead of Dinner, we have often chosen other Locations that either have longer or continuously an open Kitchen!

Excellent gastronomy with very good wine list.
As part of Expo Real 2017, we returned to the Freisinger Hof for the evening for a business dinner.
A first-class 3-course menu was served to recommend different wines.
In addition to the delicious duck roast — classic with red cabbage and dumplings — the dessert was the absolute highlight.
The service was first-class and always present.
The location is cosy and yet quite large. All tastefully decorated with wooden furniture, warm and friendly.
The restaurant is absolutely recommended.

I was to a seminar there in the conservatory including lunch — it was very nice and the food was very good.

Very good food. Portions, however, a little too big. Good wines, especially from Austria. Make a reservation, always very well visited. The hotel is also recommended.

Of all the hotels of the same category that I had the opportunity to discover, this is the one that I was most pleased. A warm, discreet and polite welcome. Maintenance and cleanliness of the premises impeccable at all levels (reception, room, restaurant, etc…).
The hotel has a restaurant and a separate room for breakfast. In the 2 places, the presentation and the quality of the products served the place well above several palaces and 5 stars… All the products are prepared with care and selected with taste. A pleasure for the eyes and the mouth.
At the end of the stay, we even received a small tasting gift, made by the Freisiger Hof, to take away. A great experience to renew without hesitation during a stay in Munich. »

Lovely traditional restaurant, we were recommended to by a local hotel.
Over for a few days from Scotland, & looking to have some traditional German food.
We were not disappointed.
The service & attention to detail was second to none, & the food was just amazing.
You definitely get what you pay for!
We left with a lovely gift of homemade apricot jam to take back to Scotland.
Thanks for making our night a very special one.
If we ever return to Munich, we will be back. Xxx.

Wir haben ein Wiener Schnitzel mit Petersilienkartoffeln gegessen und das war eine Enttäuschung. Eine große Portion macht eine lasche Panade nicht wett. Die Kartoffeln hatten einen nicht zu identfizierenden unangenehmen Geruch und Geschmack. Das Ganze kam lauwarm an den Tisch. Nach langer Zeit mal wieder dagewesen und das ganz sicher zum letzten Mal. Möglicherweise sind die Siedfleischgerichte gut, aber das Schnitzel war einfach schlecht. Sehr gesetztes Publikum.

We were here for a private party and had two restaurant meals and one night in the hotel. The Biergarden is gorgeous and backs on to the Englischer Garten (great for walks along the Isar). The food is upmarket Bavarian which I can vouch for as being authentic but very expensive. Service is very good and friendly. The hotel is first class with cosy (if not a bit small) rooms with traditional decor and nice finishing touches. The breakfast is fantastic, especially on the terrace in the summer. Would highly recommend this place for romantic weekends, private functions and a cosy dinner on a warm summer's evening. Dogs very welcome in the hotel and biergarten.

The hotel is exquisite. If you don't want to face the main road there is a an option (at an extra cost) to face the garden/ forest then you will feel like you are staying in nature. The breakfast is extraordinary and at a high standard as a Deluxe hotel. (I suggest going on a diet before arriving). There were problems with the Wi-Fi, the owner/manager promised to have them fixed right away. You really don't need a car to drive to town, there is a tram every 15 minutes takes 20 minutes to heart of the city, the reception sells tram tickets, which very convenient. The next door restaurant run and owned by the hotel has excellent atmosphere and delicious Wiener Schnitzel. I Highly recommend staying at this very nice typical old style German atmosphere hotel and eating next door.

Very good Austrian cuisine and a very nice beer garden in the green. Table Spitz was great! Service was very friendly with lots of humor.

Nice atmosphere on the terrace. Table Spitz was very good and the service 1a. Whether one — admittedly very tasty — cream brulee, however, must cost 10, €50, is questionable. Still happy again. However, again outside — in the room it was noisy and a bit stuffy.

Clean rooms and bathroom. Minibar. Really one of the best breakfasts in Germany! Recommend everyone. There is also sauna available.

I was completely satisfied. VERY good food.

The Freisingerhof offers clean rooms, comfortable beds, and convenient access to public transportation. It's in an outlying area and except for rush hour traffic noise in the morning and afternoon the place is quiet. The breakfast is extraordinarily good, with a great selection of meats, baked goods, granola so, fruits, juices, and eggs cooked to order. We looked forward to breakfast every morning and spent two nights upon our arrival and the final two nights before flying back to the USA.

Great Hotel — absolutely recommendable. Especially the location is very good. In a few minutes, the tram can be reached. It is also recommend the attached Restaurant.

Very nice room, with fresh fruit, within walking distance of the English garden, quiet. Breakfast (simply ingenious! ) with excellent food — and restaurant — beer garden in the evening.
Great service, free bicycles, very cosy sauna, free parking! I am thoroughly satisfied!

The food is properly however covered by the prices. A starter soup for 9, €50 is not justified. The service was mediocre on the terrace to modest. The first meal was cold on the table and the other dining of guests 6 delayed. Drink orders had to be reviewed by multiple acclamation. Not appropriate for the category at least in the evening!

As always, the waiter was super nice, you just notice that only really well trained staff there works. Our favorite dish, the fried chicken was again super tasty. You get really always excellent quality for your money.

TOP Restaurant! The best roast pork and other great Treats. For a Restaurant with upscale prices, portions are particularly lush… I like it too. But these portions creates is not for everyone. Appetizer is a struggle… Super friendly Service… all Top!

Who in a sophisticated ambience, attentive Service, fine delicacies of the Austrian cuisine is served would, must not only go to Vienna: Tefelspitz, Schulterscherzel or the Potpourri of boiled oxen, with Apple horseradish sauce and chives sauce come very close to the Original from the "Plachutta" at the Vienna Opera house ran!

Recently renovated, from the clear Bavarian traits, located in a quiet neighborhood is ideal for either a business stay or a family outing.

Just the right mix of a traditional Gasthof and a modern world class hotel. Could be a upscale Kimpton style boutique hotel if it was in the US.

Great Austrian food! Try "Backhendl" or "Wiener Schnitzel"!
