Great place and very central!

Lovely hotel, friendly staff and a very good in house restaurant 👌

Very good and nice it was everything as it must be.

Firstly I would like to say that the design and architecture of this hotel is absolutely stunning, the experience of staying here for that sole purpose was delightful however the experience of being an outsider was very prominent. We as a family felt like outcasts. If you’re a white person you’ll be treated nicely and with respect but if you’re a person of colour wearing your traditional clothing you’ll be looked down on. There were only two staff members that were polite to us, the lady on the phone at the restaurant and the gentleman who accepted our initial booking at reception. I booked in for 4 days and paid over £600. Was it worth it? Absolutely not in the end. Hotel Hirsch is not a place for people with a different skin tone, only white people are welcome here. We also got kicked out today because we forgot to check out at 11am, the hotel receptionist was rude and said she’s fully booked so an extension wasn’t possible. I’ll never revisit this hotel again & wouldn’t ever recommend it to any non white person. I don’t know if it’s just Germans who hate people of colour or if it’s just the staff of this hotel. Not recommended for people of colour or different ethnicities and backgrounds. This hotel is only for white people. Overall the hotel staff are RACIST! Do not come here if you have anxiety you will feel depressed.

Very poor Service in the Restaurant. Waiters are overloaded. In one of our dishes side dishes were missing, which was ignored by the waiter more or less. A pity or a joke.

Great atmosphere and amazingly clean rooms.

In the Hirsch Hotel you can eat very well — even with large groups. The staff is always friendly and helpful, even when it gets hectic. The ambience in the rooms is comfortable and has charm. I can recommend it to business and privately only.

This hotel had beautiful rooms and a perfect blend of modern and old world style. Loved our stay.

Very nice hotel with old antique furnishings and gorgeous paintings of the area. Spacious rooms, quaint restaurant and the bed is soooo comfortable.

Absolutely charming hotel!. Very friendly & accommodating staff. The restaurant; had dinner and would definitely rate the chef 5, best continental breakfast ever! Had the pleasure of meeting the very gracious owners, very welcoming, actually take the time to speak to their guests. Loved the old fashioned Bavarian decor. Centrally located to town. So happy to have stayed here, strongly recommend this hotel if your looking for a true Bavarian experience!

Awesome! Very nice, suited our family’s needs quite well! We would recommend to anyone traveling to the beautiful town of Fussen!

Unable to just drink in the hotel bar as an hotel guest, moved away to a room with no atmosphere. The bar dominated with locals, paying guests come second.

Food was hilarious! Service is amazing… I would recommend the place for tasty German food 100%

Nice room, clean. No air conditioning. We had two very difficult nights because of this, despite the mini ventilo loaned by the front desk.
No one speaking French at the reception, friendly, but a little too familiar for our taste.
The hotel is super well placed.
Free parking but limited seating.

This is a great hotel — very picturesque and cosy. The rooms were lovely and very comfortable. The food (and breakfast) was delicious and the service was great but there were other excellent restaurants just a few minutes away.

Great location! Near the castles and a lot of restaurants to go to very close by. Updated rooms. We slept with the windows open because the AC wasn't working properly (maybe we weren't setting the controls right) but it was loud early in the morning from normal traffic. Very happy overall with our stay!

Nice comfortable clean room! I loved that I could open my window at night, even on the 1st floor (slightly elevated window and decorative iron security bars). I felt safe and cool on the very warm summer nights. Tasty European breakfast each morning, included in my room rate. Lovely stay.

Absolutely charming hotel. Incredible staff! Everything was ready for us as soon as we arrived which was so wonderful after a long journey.

I really enjoyed my time in this stylish hotel. Very close to the old town of Füssen, nice and cosy. The staff was very friendly too. Although it was more expensive than the average hotel in the area, but definitely worth your visit if you are not on a budgeted trip.

Loveless, cool, breakfast mediocre. Despite a better room in the new building — about 170 euros way too much! Still, it was very clean, the staff friendly.

This hotel is absolutely outstanding. The recent new addition is very tastefully decorated with all the modern amenities. The owner I am told is 4th generation who is very passionate about her hotel and lookung around the various levels it is obvious every detail has been thoughtfully chosen. We had fresh fruit in our room upon our arrival and gummy bears on our bed pillow. The triple person in my group has their own private area with a separate door. The breakfast has a very large variety of German food to choose from. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area!

Always enjoyed being here in the restaurant during the holiday in Roshaupten. Unfortunately, the distance has become too large for most participants for reasons of age, so there is no longer the possibility of visiting.

Very comfortable and excellent.

We've only been to dinner, and we've had a beer and we're gone. If you've been in Germany for more than 3 days, you'll be fed up with pie steak and meat stews. The most surprising thing is that beer is cheaper than water! The Milk! I will lengthen this review because if you pass the 200 characters go up a level. It's silly because I can be very detailed in less than 200

Also excellent as a location for visiting the castles of Bavaria; Also remarkable restaurant, with typical dishes.

Very Traditional and great looking hotel. If you come to Füssen or castles nearby, this Hotel is the best option to have a full experience. It’s like sleeping at a museum. With also a lot of restaurants and beautiful walking locations you can’t there’s also a mini-mall right across the street with a supermarket to grab all the things you need before you hit the road. Hello we ate a really fresh and excellently prepared Christmas goose on the 2 Christmas Day without reservation and we were also fed up. Nice service.

Very nice traditional house in the middle of Füssen. Very friendly staff and good food. Even if you don't live here, the restaurant is highly recommended. The Wiener schnitzel was so good that I ate it 2x. Tender veal baked in butter with sensational fried potatoes and delicious salad. At moderate prices.

Were eating at this hotel. The ambiance is very nice and the staff very nice. Unfortunately we were a little late, which is why the complete map was no longer available. However, we were nicely advised and the food was delicious.

Great food and great atmosphere! The service is very friendly and the decoration very nice.

Suggestive in the center so goes on foot in the historic part. Furniture and aesthetics very small profusion of sprup woods carved portraits of knights and whatnot.

Only one night but it was a great experience. Friendly and accommodating staff, great breakfast and a charming spacious room that reminded us we were in Bavaria with it's beautiful and ornate wood work and art. Right at the city center and convenient to the castles. Was worth the trip from Munich to see more of a local village setting. Thanks to all the Hotel Hirsch for making it an incredible experience for us.

Actually quite comfortable. But the water pressure is not strong enough, all kinds of head, animal like, lying in the crib dolls and other jewelry … I don't feel very accustomed to it.

This hotel is so wonderful, we want to go back and stay longer. The staff were super friendly, even when we checked in late at night. Our room was huge, the bed very comfortable. We walked into the old town for dinner, but the hotel restaurant smelled really good. There is a rooftop lounge which is quite nice. Breakfast was also fantastic! Definitely need to stay here again.

Very good german dishes, friendly staff. The schnitzel has maybe a tad too much oil, but otherwise great quality at normal prices.

A beautiful hotel. Some great views. Staff here are lovely. We received a warm welcome to füssen here. Perfect location for visiting neuschwanstein castle and the surrounding areas. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Dinner is available but didn't try it. But from what I saw the food looked good. Parking is available. Rooms are clean with local barvarian style furniture.

Reasonably priced, friendly staff, super clean. Lots of old-world charm. Doesn't attempt to be cutting edge, and that's a plus for this cute town. Wi-Fi could be a little faster, but that might just be our room location. Oh, and breakfast is excellent.

Great breakfast, clean rooms, interesting interior. However they do not have the electronic fussen card available for guests so no free public transit for getting around and hitting all the sites. If you have a car then that's not a problem.

Room was very nice with interesting art and architecture. Also large enough to accommodate my 4-person family. Although it smelled a bit musty.

Have some hotels, restaurants and holiday houses visited and can give the deer five star with good certainty. The service is very attentive and obviously a professionally trained staff. Due to there a menu ate, I can little to the ALA cart business say, that menu was certainly well prepared and also apparently high-quality food have been used. The premises, so guest rooms, corridors and the roof terrace are well maintained and decorated in a classic historic style. All in all a good, recommended address. I forgive 1 star extra due to the really attentive junior warden committed personally to your guests with full commitment.

Typical hotel, excellent attention to detail. The restaurant is also quite good and not tourist. The location is very convenient to the castles and Lakes nearby. Welcoming and professional, the only flaw in any excess.

Top Hotel on the outskirts of the old town. The rooms are tastefully furnished. Everywhere is clean and pleasant. Perfect Service and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

The room was so small for two persons that it just fit a piece of luggage.

Delicious Bavarian cuisine, especially in the wild weeks we have become the repeat offenders.
Update 11/2014: Hirsch was with my wife back in the hotel food. It was all tip top again. :) Earned 5 stars.

I was with you with a business friend eat and we were thrilled. Friendly service and original Bavarian cuisine, exactly what we wanted. My friend from Bossien wanted to be sure Bavarian food and Bavarian beer. I had the venison and it was really great. If we go back through feet we pass again.

I find the hotel simply super. Great location, very nice, clean rooms and pleasant staff.

I dragged myself in one cold March evening. They had a comfortable room with one of those wonderful German Quilts that keep you warm all night, but not too hot and stuffy. I had driven all afternoon to be there just when a three day snow storm was ending. It was still snowing when I arrived. Their dinner was great. I was going to shoot a photo of Schloss Neuschwanstein in the snow. The next morning at 0500 I was up and out of the hotel and the sky had cleared. I trudged up to an indescript, but outstanding point about 100 meters northeast of the front of the schloss. When the sun rose it lit up the front of the schloss, but everything else was in the blue lit snow in the shade. After that I knew there would be no better photos so I went back to the hotel and rewarded myself with an outstanding Bavarian Breakfast. You can see that photo by clicking one of the blue/grey boxes northeast of the schloss. It measured 94 meters by Google Earth. Or look for my images on Google Earth under hardinghenry. Ta.

Traditional hotel, enjoyed the stay.

This hotel was fabulous! We did not have reservations. We were greated with friendly staff, the room was fantastic, the decor very nice, we stayed in the "castle room". Breakfast was very easy, comfortable and large selection! We regret not staying more days in Fussen! I highly recommend this hotel, near city center and easy walks everywhere! Easy drive to Castles! We stayed June 2009.
