Older room. Not very clean. Breakfast was SUPER.

Great hotel, nice staff.
In the middle of Stuttgart there is a time capsule! In my room, the carpets went half up the wall, the bathroom was tiled red and a dial phone hung over the toilet. Awesome. Ancient facilities, but intact and clean. The air conditioning worked well and the TV was bigger than at home.
The breakfast is fresh and tasty. For those who don't shrug off 70s facilities, the Royal is a great place in Stuttgart!

As usual, all staff had good behavior.

The hotel was far too expensive for the performance. It may have a good location, but this is clouded again by the partly still quite old rooms. But I also saw as I walked down the hallway that there are already renovated rooms. So booking is a bit of a gamble.

It is a very nice hotel and quite well decorated. It's a very nice place to rest. Its location is great to use as a base for sightseeing around the city. The staff is very friendly and very nice. The price is pretty competitive for the services they offer.

Respect! Please do not book an apartment in the annex! The outbuilding and furnishings are not only extremely old, it also smells very strange in the corridors and in the room. I've felt very uncomfortable, not being squeamish. A note hung from the cupboard that you shouldn't close it altogether. I suspect to diminish further odour formation in it. I slept with a wide open balcony door, unfortunately it smelled strong of hops at night because of the brewery next door.
But the worst thing, and the reason why I am writing here: By chance, I discovered a few days old letter from the property management in the hallway: The building has a Legionella finding and is in a thermal during my stay. Disinfection measure. The letter warns residents against "VERBRÜHUNGSGEFAHR" (in capital letters). Showers should be omitted in doubt in order not to take a health risk because of the germs. Another letter from eurofins hangs on to it, pointing to the obligation to provide information to consumers, so that these measures "of individual self-protection (e. G. (…) Filtration or shower ban). " Legionella is subject to notification with the health board. They pose a serious health risk. It is not acceptable to accommodate me there and not to inform me at all. I feel betrayed.
Luckily, I was able to shower in the room of my colleague, who has been in the main building.

Room are very average, nothing so luxurious but have pretty much everything you might need. Location is perfect.

The stay in the hotel is like a trip to the 80s of Germany. Small room with outdated wooden paneling and carpet on the wall. The apartments in the Annexe building are best never to book. I had the building, the hallway and the sunrise very scary. Breakfast is ok though.

Best service to Intergastra especially recommended, chef Manu who makes every wish possible!
However, a sauna would be desirable.
Room always clean and the still has character!

Reception and staff friendly in the evening. Rooms have been very old (up on the TV). Bathroom was not so nice. Room and bathroom was clean. Is centrally located.

You have to understand the concept of this hotel. When you do that, you have a great time.

The hotel is centrally located. You can walk to the city centre, you are right in the pedestrian zone. The rooms are a bit older but well kept and clean.
But when booking you should also know that there are also rooms outside the hotel. You have to keep running three buildings. Friends of ours didn't find it very nice as there were apartments where others lived. Unfortunately it was not very clean. When complaining there was only an apology and the parking ticket free of charge. So be careful when booking and ask directly where the room is.

Hotel staff were polite and spoke English well. The rooms were a bit old fashioned with aged decor but offered everything we needed. The shower worked but needed some maintenance as the shower head was loose and had to be propped up to be useable. Overall our stay was comfortable but could have been better with some small improvements.

If there were zero stars, I'd forgive them for you! Although quite friendly at the reception but still under the Gürtellienie! Although more than 30 (! ) Keys were unforgiven on the wall, I and my friend were sent out incomprehensiblely in the middle of the night and that as I said with many more empty rooms!
I'm really sorry, but it just doesn't belong… that's not just good grace, but damn disrespectful! Shows more tolerance! We are in the year 2017, you will also arrive as a hotel in the years!

Man sieht dem Hotel sein alter an, alles ist sauber und ordentlich, aber eben sehr alt. Parkhaus ist unweit. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in direkter Umgebung. Generell vom Preis her auf dem Stuttgart typisch überhöhten niveau, für das was man bekommt.

Great location and very helpful staff. Drinks were fairly priced in comparison to other surrounding bars. Situated about 5 minutes walk from main shopping district so ideal. Would definitely come back again.

A cosy hotel in the middle of the city, close to shops, places to eat, and have fun. The room was very clean and comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves really good traditional German dishes, so definitely try it out! Would definitely stay again.

WORST Hotel I've ever stayed in and I've traveled to over 20 countries and stayed in some pretty average hotels in my time, but nothing compares to this awfully overpriced and falsely advised hole. They claim to be a 4 star hotel but don't have air-conditioning in the rooms. (dispute advertising it)

— Don't have safe to secure items…
— Don't have so much as tea or coffee in the room.
— Don't have anything personal hygiene items other than a small cake of soup.
— The staff are nothing but rude and arrogant.
— The rooms are so old and dated they haven't been renovated in 20 years and are so noisy that you can hear everyone coming and going all hours of the night. No way is this a 4 star hotel, it's barely rates as a 1 star rating and I wouldn't waste your money booking here if it was the last place available in Stuttgart. I checked out after one night and I only reason I stayed that night was because it was too late to organise another hotel as they were all fully book in the area. Absolutely worst hotel EVER and definitely NOT worth what they charge. You can stay at the Mercure for cheaper and they actually have aircon and offer much better standards.

Stayed in the single rooms about twice now. There is no AC in the room and no ventilation in the bathroom. Stayed both in late winter and mid summer time. No heating in the room, left door open to the bathroom but the heater there makes strange pipe noises. One of the single rooms has the window towards a public alley/terrace where people comment and yell in the middle of the night. In summer if too hot you'll have to keep that window open… Stayed in a double room as well, that one is ok.

Nice location but the air-conditioning hardly worked. They were unable to offer any other cooling alternatives. I would not suggest this hotel in the summer, as your room will be a sauna and sleeping therefore very unpleasant.

This place is horrible. Has not been remodeled since the 80's, the air conditioning doesn't work and it is on a very seedy street of bars and taverns. Avoid at all costs.

Clean, not very modern. James Bond might enjoy a Martini in the breakfast room.

It was a little strange, the hotel bought out apartments in a nearby block, I wasnt actually in the hotel itself. The room was clean and tidy. There was a kitchen in the cupboard. There was a mix up with the room. My company booked one day and thought it was two so we didn't check out, (this was our fault). They handled it reasonably well although they were pretty angry on the phone when they realised we weren't checking out. They ran out of rooms for the second night so they had to move my colleague in with me on the couch. Overall, I think they handled it ok but was certainly not seamless.

Room: Our room was a sea of carpet (floor wall, etc) is not otherwise very comfortable mine anpber. It's great.
When it arrives and sees the hotel from the outside you think oh where I got here. But this one is inside very positively surprised.
Very rich breakfast buffet. Very tasty and something for everyone.
Conclusion: The hotel is only to recommend, because staff (a fifty metre King Street), top breakfast, top personnel. Room taste thing.

The Hotel is very Centrally located. However, it fits the price, definitely not.

I am the 2nd week here. Beds and bathroom is clean. Otherwise, mediocre. For right in the center. Royal is exaggerated.

As I took the pictures seen on the Internet had I booked because it is modern and well maintained looked. Just the opposite, I have seen my single room umzumutbar the furniture is old, the carpet dirty, room smelled. Then I exchanged it and got a double room, was a little more bearable. Therefore, people love it over to you twice before you Bay. The only Positive is the Hotel is Centrally located.
