Top Location quickly in the city clean and spacious rooms at extra charge with balcony.

Easy sustainable and enjoyable by the location (City and nature).

This was a pleasant surprise. Great service and the location is convenient to get on the tram or the bus across the street. The room service is efficient and they take the going green very seriously. The breakfast buffet is enough to last you all day. The spacing and the color scheme lifts the overall experience of the hotel. The staff are attentive and present.

Had missed me, the hotel is very nice with friendly staff. We had a room for wheelchair users which was perfect for us.

The green light everywhere seems unpleasant but otherwise ok.

Modern city hotel — clean and well run. 10 minutes by tram to the old town. In stay, free use of public transport is included — very good!

Used the meeting facilities here. Really good room, for theatre style or boardroom layout. Tram stop directly outside the entrance.

Great hotel, nice rooms, very nice staff, good breakfast.
In the rooms on the side of the road, the noise from the tram can disturb, has not affected us and is probably not a problem with a closed window.

Cosy and clean rooms. Parking options unfortunately a bit difficult.

Super Hotel. Parking in the parking garage vis a vis. Map for public transport is handed in. Take the Stassenbahn stress-free to the old town and drive back. Stop right in front of the hotel. More convenient, don't go. Very friendly staff and good rooms. Will be back for sure. Thank you very much. Was a top stay.

We spent one night at this hotel. Our room request was taken into account, so we had a very quiet room on the 4th floor. Friendly service, very clean and organic goods for breakfast!

Very nice, modern Apartment Hotel. With about 50 Rooms. The Hotel has a Tram Stop right outside the Door. Which runs every 10 to 15min during the day and approx. In the evening. All 30min guests receive a regional ticket from the RVF free of charge. There is a Meeting Room Available. The Reception is open for 24/7.

Very nice hotel, especially if you like the concept of sustainability the whole area is about. The only problem for me was that you cannot regulate the temperature in the room. I understand it is part of the design of the building, the staff very kindly explained to me that it has the same temperature all year round, but it was too cold for me. I would have preferred to know this in advance.

Had a nice stay. The staff was always helpful, even helping me change rooms in the middle of the night (long story but nothing to do with the hotel) and helping me find items I had left behind. The rooms were very functional, straight lines, lots of wood, and despite being over 31C outside it was well tempered inside ("passively" climatized building). Did not take advantage of breakfast, and no coffee in room. Bakery right outside, grocery store, pharmacy and bank across the street, lots of students and then there is Freiburg, clearly the best German city. Overall a very good value.

This hotel is amazing for anyone who enjoys seeing sustainable practices and technologies in action. I gone to see Vauban (the town the hotel is located in) twice. Once about ten years ago and once last year to see how the hotel and town has progressed. The town is incredible and the hotel is also incredible. The service at the hotel is amazing as everyone is very nice, well trained and genuinely happy and proud to work at such a sustainable and forward thinking building. Even the pens you sign in with are made out of wood (and you can keep them :D). The sides of the building have vines growing up, all the sinks and showers are efficient, passive solar windows designed to let in light without needing to use power until later at night. There is a local train/tram (not expensive) located just outside the building that will take you to the historic and highly reccomended town of freiburg in about ten minutes. This hotel is a must for people who want to see what the future of green building design should be in the hotel arena. Bright, beautifully decorated, efficient, friendly, comfortable, and very clean!

Work 2 nights at the hotel were a super hotel! Top rooms, top food and of course very friendly and helpful staff! Big thanks to the 3 lovely ladies of M. S. And K. Has been super!
So now, unfortunately for the 2 minus points!
Large car park problem.
And a sauna was still good!
But otherwise top!

We were last week in Freiburg. The hotel is really cool. Large and beautiful rooms, also for families with children (additional bed) OK. Great service and very friendly staff. Also the breakfast was very tasty and there was a great variety of dishes.

Modern, spacious and comfortable rooms. The staff was very friendly and obliging. We were with a baby there and have provided free of charge cot get. The breakfast was also great!

The hotel was clean and sober. Maybe too sober and neutral. Not enough plants in the hotel. In our room no carpet and no pictures on the wall. The breakfast room was like a cantine in a company or a hospital. Neutral, sober and without atmosphere. Good for a quick business trip but not for a lovely week end in Freiburg.

Reception staff partly unfriendly and slow, no Welcome the room is very cold ventilated and not turn off, Elevator broken and you were not informed. Generally not a nice atmosphere, cold like hostel. Environment is well connected, but according to.

All was very good, very tidy/clean. Only the soap in the bath room was empty…

Friendly, polite, clean, nice room.

Very nice hotel with a good concept and high relaxation factor. I found the beds very comfortable. It is also connected by tram to the city and the station. The breakfast is only until 11. The balcony of our room had only access on the course, so that we did not use it. The next time so a room without balcony. Still 5 stars from me.

Goods on the occasion of the Freiburg-HM in the green city hotel. Liked us very well. Beautiful new rooms. "Eco touch". Easy access: tram stops in front of the door. For the category a bit high price. Yet again.

Excellent hotel, very comfortable and minimalist. The perfect location for immersing yourself in the Vauban quarter and discover it.

Room grds. Ok. Wi-Fi did not work. Breakfast Mediocre. Rooms to the front are too loud.
