Nice budget hotel, quiet place and warm people at the reception. Breakfast was expensive so we did not opt for it. But the stay was nice and comfy. It came with a small kitchen so we could make our tea and soups.

Very nice place, extremely clean and tidy, the staff were very nice and helpful, there’s onsite parking “free”, very close to Freiburg and Gundelfingen, great view from the back, there’s a petrol station just beside the hotel, a Real hyper market on the opposite side and the tram station is very close. Note: there is no 24h receptionist so if you are checking in late make sure to inform them in advance so they will put the room key in a safe outside and send you all instructions.

Very clean rooms, attentive staff, good breakfast selection, and close to public transit. If I'm in the area, this is an obvious great choice.

Cute room, large bathroom. Air conditioning, you can control the temperature in your room. The breakfast is perfect. I know it seems like an odd location, by a gas station and what looks like low income housing, but it's quite convenient to Gundelfingen, Freiburg, and day trips into France and Switzerland. Very friendly staff and a bonus cat wandering around outside. Tip: close the shades (rollshutters) and the windows at night if you are a light sleeper, so you don't hear the train.

Very nice reception, staff always strives to make it as comfortable as possible.
The breakfast is very tasty and the choice beautifully large, quality is top. The fruit was always nice fresh.
There was even champagne breakfasts and salmon on Saturday. For 9 euros, the value for money is top.
The room was nice large, the beds very comfortable.
Every day, water was filled into a bottle.

Habitaciones muy espaciosas y camas muy cómodas. Había dos almohadas. Además, la habitación estaba equipada con una pequeña cocina. El baño amplio y con ducha.

The bed was comfortable. Enough accessories. Proximity — adjacent petrol station and nearby shopping mall (5 mins walk).

Clean room, friendly staff and good breakfast. I find it a bit too expensive for location and amenities.

Actually 0 stars, but is it? Fire stains on the floor of the room, filth in the corners of the room and the mirror with plenty of plaster strips as well as shower cabins that nobody wants. And the prices for the upper class. Didn't deserve a star. When complaining during checkout came only a "… oh", without regret.

Near public transportation, clean, friendly staff and communicative.

Good parking and easy access to the city. The three things I want to complain about is how little they have done to show that this hotel was a former retirement house, because of the toilets and the emergency wires/buttons. The fridge was not cleaned and smelled like alcohol, and the Wi-Fi only worked 5 min before problems occurred and it then stopped working.

I really enjoyed this hotel. It is a bit out of town but it is right across from a tram station or you could drive into town. (It only takes about 5 minutes) There was an elevator to make getting luggage upstairs easier. The rooms were large, clean, and updated. There are train tracks out behind the hotel that you WILL hear if the windows are open, but ear plugs are provided. That being said, we didn't even need them. With the windows closed at night and the room being cooled by the air conditioner, we couldn't even hear the trains. The breakfast was nice, filling, and had a large variety. We also took advantage of the laundry service and our close came back clean, folded and smelling nice. I think the only reason I gave this hotel a 4 star instead of 5 was because of the location. It didn't bother me that it was out of town or that there were train tracks near by (since you couldn't hear them). What bothered me was that the hotel is behind a gas station and used car lot. It looked like the hotel was there first so I can't really blame them, but it is a shame. The building was very nice and I would still absolutely stay there again, but it was a little bit of a let down.

Sehr freundliches Personal und Wunderbares Frühstück. Spezial zu erwähnen sind die mit Liebe gemachte Rühreier, Super. Die Lage zum Zentrum ist perfekt der Strassenbahn ist vis a vis und fährt sehr oft. Leider hat es weit hinten den Hotel einen Eisenbahnstrecke der durch aus stören kann.

I really liked the hotel, although away from the centre, well connected by the tram that passes in front of the hotel. The treatment of the receptionist is second to none, it is all kindness, friendliness and helpful and friendly, excellent breakfast. Another thing is to have the forest practically in the hotel, which gives a feeling of peace and adventure.

I reserved throught the web two rooms for 5 friends and we arrived late. The recepcionist was great, sweet, fun, nice and very helpful with our questions. The location is very good because there is a train stop 1 mn from the Hotel to the center of the city. Very clean and quiet. Excelent.

Wonderful Hotel to relax in. The Hotel is family run, you will receive a warm welcome and immediately feel at home. Our room with balcony was spacious, bright and sparkling clean. The Frühtstücksbuffet was super yummy and through the great selection is something for every taste. For our visit to the beautiful Rhine valley and the black forest, we were always very helpful and local reception. Absolutely to recommend. Happy again.

Super, nice and symphathisches Hotel! The rooms were very clean, modern and large, even with air conditioning, we (my friend and I) in the case of the nice summer weather already used. Great bathroom with natural daylight and plenty of storage space. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Breakfast buffet was very delicious, from fresh fruit salad to krossem Bacon, it has us really nothing was missing. Especially nice was, above all, on the Sunny terrace to have Breakfast. The tram runs directly in front of the Hotel, so we could also simply the car in the Parking lot. The Classic Hotel has us very well fallen, and we would again at any time book.

Have enjoyed staying at the classic hotel many times it is always our first choice when we are in the area, the rooms are pleasant light and airy always spotlessly clean and fresh, jan and christina our hosts are always most helpful along with all their staff, breakfast is first class and freshly prepared. and now with the new tram link to freiburg centre you could not wish for better services. i would reccomend this hotel to anyone. philip reaney — sheffield.

Habitacones very spacious and modern. Free parking within the grounds of the hotel, very friendly and is a bit far from the centre of the city.
