We were here for the race last year. The excellent service and ambience were the reason for this year's trip. In addition, my father has the med here in 1932. Physics and I am interested in the liaison house.
Unfortunately, the long-awaited short trip on arrival was overshadowed by a fall of my wife in the underground car park. Is now with the ambulance service on the way to X-rays.
But that shouldn't stop the four days.

Our new home in Heidelberg, truly friendly atmosphere, fabulous bar, a outstanding breakfast menu, elegant dining, offering international and local delicacies. A must visit!

Stunningly beautiful hotel. Wonderful staff, very helpful. Spent my birthday there I received many birthday wishes from the staff, so thoughtful and kind. Dinner was incredible, desert delicious. Breakfast delicious too. Lobby bar was great as well, Jonas and Robin were very helpful, conversational with my husband Glenn.

The service was impressive… More than 5 stars! The gardens were so beautiful! We will definitely be back. Oh and I can't forget the food it was delicious and fresh… so good! Dankeschön to all!

We were with 6 people in the evening for dinner in the summer restaurant in the courtyard for a family celebration. The postponement of the date and then the time of the reservation was implemented in an uncomplicated and friendly manner. The food was excellent in terms of taste, quantity and timing of the courses. Very friendly and competent service. Overall a great experience. Due to the prices nothing for regular — but perfect for the special occasion!
The only small downside: We got seat cushions first on demand, but then promptly and the tablecloth (outside under trees) was not completely clean and was not changed. But there was also a lot going on that evening.
We'll be back.

Fantastic hotel with excellent cuisine and outstanding service. Particularly commendable is the tireless efforts of Mr. Ingo Binz, who looks after the guests with a special attention and a lot of style even for 5-star houses and fulfills almost every wish. A first-class address, which we recommend unconditionally!

This is the only 5 star hotel in the whole of Heidelberg. It is very glamorous and dignified. Everything is in very good condition, the breakfast is just great and the service too. The prices are of course accordingly, but this is also to be expected from a five-star hotel.

My fiancé and I loved staying here. The staff was so friendly and attentive. The decor was beautiful… I can’t wait to go back again one day!

Not really recommended. After the meal, it wasn't good for me anymore. Menu compilation was unfortunately beside it. Tastefully, it wasn't really matched. A bottle of water, two coffees, two scabs rosee and two non-alcoholic cocktails touted as an aperitif, €50, the 3 course menu for 2 people 150€. Attention of the staff, appetizer had not yet been cleared, came the next course. Not recommended to me.

Staff at the meal was very friendly. Room and bathroom do not have a 5 star standard. Musty air, everything comes in the years … "faded Glory. " At 10 30, the electricity was turned off! In this respect, I hope that a better place will be chosen for the next big event of the family!

Beautiful spa, also for non-hotel guests, closes 9pm — especially in summer with a view of (until then unfortunately not yet illuminated) castle would be desirable here a longer stay.

The staff here are excellent. One even offered to pick up a jacket for my wife on his way home. Rooms are also huge and luxe.

If the European Court were not by far the best hotel in Heidelberg, my husband and I would not have declared this house our favourite mountain. We have lived here periodically and at the festive days for 50 years, and there has never been a valid reason to sue. The management and all the employees of the house are well trained and of a soothing friendliness and helpfulness. We are so glad that there is this oasis of good taste. If you don't like the room, you will be offered another room without hesitation (if available). That is in keeping with the good spirit of this House.

The best hotel in Heidelberg without doubt, we nearly spent 20 days, plus on that we will extend our visit for 13 days at the hotel. Moreover, considering my father situation (special needs) we felt we are in tourism trip not a medical trip. Eventually, one regret that I have seen the rooms without coffee or tea facilities.

Perfect way to imagine a first class hotel.
Only the approach is a bit difficult when you drive there the first time.

A historical place: Rooms with high ceiling, Spa and warm swimming pool… It is very old but maintained very well.

The good: beautiful historic building. Wonderful staff and huge, beautiful rooms. The bad: HVAC issues. The first room we were allocated was gorgeous, but must have been at least 25c. No problems we thought — turn down the thermostat and wait for it to cool. After about 4 hours of sweating we called the front desk only to learn the A/C is non-functional due to the ‘time of year’. Regardless of the time of year, the room was way too hot to spend any length of time in — let alone try to sleep. The staff were very good and quickly moved us to another room which was slightly cooler, but still no working A/C. We were forced to sleep with the windows wide open which lead to a couple of bad nights sleep due to drunken people on the street outside etc. Don’t expect this in a 5* hotel… wouldn’t even expect this in a $60/night roadside motel that advertises it has A/C.

We've had the pleasure to work with a professional and well prepared Events Team, that really know their job, are involved and keen to make the customer happy. A truly 5* experience! Starting from the event preparation, to the food, service during the wedding and the entire communication, there's literally nothing I could complain about. Outstanding team!

Old world charm in the heart of Heidelberg. Owned by the same family for generations. Service is excellent and friendly.

The private hotel is professional in 4. Generation of family von Kretschmann led. Warm and very welcoming staff. A hotel with over 150 years of tradition, where you know to preserve the charm and adult aesthetics without closing modern requirements for a House. Own laundry, upholstery, carpentry allow customized individually decorated of each room with a special touch. A spa area with saunas, swimming pool and roof terrace with incomparable views is an additional advantage. Conclusion: Certainly the best hotel in Heidelberg. Absolutely recommended!

The European Court would not by far the best hotel in Heidelberg, my husband and I had not declared this House our favorite hostel. For 50 years we live here on a regular basis and for the holidays, and yet never there has been a good reason for a lawsuit. The management and all staff are well trained and a soothing friendliness and helpfulness. We are so glad that there is this oasis of good taste. You get the room you don't, like a without hesitation (if available) offered another room. This corresponds to the good spirit of this House.

Magnificent hotel. And mistaken, what that change everything. My tip in the summer: go into the interior garden and wonderful food. Was in a hammer-room. 203. Top luxury. And the service is outstanding anyway. My favorite hotel in Heidelberg.

Disappointing!
Our room looked like a journey through time in the 70's, the furniture was extremely comfortable, has had various shortcomings and was no longer up to date. On demand you stated that our room was not yet renovated. In my opinion this type should no longer be rented from rooms for the price. The stay was not 5 star definitely worthy. Really great breakfast was only positive. We will definitely not return.

I have stayed at the Der Europaische Hof Heidelberg on 3 separate occasions when I visited Heidelberg in 2007, 2008 and 2015. It's a charming hotel, with excellent amenities, food and customer service. It is also conveniently located next to old town and ideal to go for evening walks to the Neckar river.

Really nice hotel with a great location.

The hotel is ok and situated at a nice spot with a decent cuisine, however it is far from being a 5 star hotel. Or I was just unlucky with the leaking shower, old furniture and a broken climate control system.

The hotel has a great location in the middle of Heidelberg with views of Castle and mountains. After a relaxed check-in we went to the room, which established classic, so 5-star moderate, was.
