Nice hotel, but there is no drinking water and kettle. If you want to drink or go to the bar and buy.

Nice hotel. Room was a little small. The bar had nice food and friendly staff. Reception staff were also helpful. Everything was at an extra cost (coffee, even water). Breakfast was nice.

Hotel is not really modern, but well kept and its style from another decade has a charm. Having a balcony is great. But the reason why I will never come back here is their internet connection: It is really slow. In 2018, not providing an internet connection that will allow to use web or email correctly, it is not acceptable. If you plan to come here for business, think twice before booking this hotel.

Were 2 days there, the hotel is in the years. You can see that in every corner. It's all so far clean, food was good, only the price structure just doesn't fit the equipment anymore.

The Maritim hotel was of a high standard and we enjoyed our stay. We found the staff very helpful and friendly.

Good location but the beds are like wooden planks and the pillows are non-existent when you lay on them.

Swimming pool, collaboration with a local gym, and a good breakfast buffet. Train station is super close and the FRA airliner pretty much drops you off in their backyard.

The rooms are very gloomy and unfriendly. Due to the location it is impossible to sleep with an open window because the noise is honestly not to be held. The prices are from the mini bar to the restaurant to the bar a single impudence. Only the staff can report positively. Otherwise I would never sleep there again.

Too big and impersonal. Staff knew nothing of the seminar I had booked. Only after the request of a responsible person could I be helped further.

I used this hotel for business purposes. Great service, great breakfast, nice rooms, behind de Hauptsbanhoff, easily accessible from the airport through the Airliner. Taxis are lining up in front of the hotel and readily available for you. The only downside I see is that the gym is 5min walking distance from the hotel.

Haven't been here for a while and it is much renovated, great room on the tenth floor and a good meal in the restaurant. Think I am in love with micro herbs today.

The rooms are a little small but very comfortable. The decor is modern and the shower is futuristic! It lets you select the water temperature from a digital readout. The restaurants serve great food with excellent service.

From the outside, the hotel is rather a dreary impression. The staff is very friendly and the food is great. My room was super furnished and had a very modern bathroom.
The swimming pool is small but perfectly adequate.
I can only recommend this hotel to anyone!

I felt really comfortable here. Were at a seminar site. I had a great room on the 9th floor with a terrific view. The rooms are nice and tastefully decorated and refurbished. The breakfast was really tasty. Just the right start to the day.

Nice and attentive staff Strategic location in many respects, everything on foot: 5 minutes from ESOC, 15 minutes from the old town, the train station and the bus stop to the airport around the corner. If I return to Darmstadt I will try again a room here.

The hotel was in a neat condition. The location is very central. The parking situation is unfortunately bad because the underground parking of the hotel has a width of 2m. Therefore not suitable for larger cars. The public parking lot in the yard has a maximum parking time of 2 hours. Here it would be good if a parking card could be offered for hotel guests.

The Maritim hotel looks rather old and shabby from the outside and therefore not necessarily what you expect. Fortunately, the rooms and the reception do not allow this to be said. These are newer and more elegant. What makes me more of a rather poor rating of the hotel is the free wireless Internet access available. This was very slow in my room on the sixth floor, so that neither worked nor in a reasonable time could be read the news.

Horrible room cancelation policy. I reserved for 7 nights wanted to stay five nights teo days into the trip and I was told I would have to pay 90% of the last two nights. Wifi was unacceptably slow and thry turned the AC off to the buildinh making the room too warm.

Small rooms, decent breakfast spread. Rooms do not have air conditioning. Rooms get, hot and stuffy at times, opening the window not an option since the location has a lot of motor traffic and tends to be very noisy.

The hotel is very nice. But breakfast is a scam. It's 20 euros and there's only one type of buns, the bulk jam and the bottled juice.

Room and breakfast i. O. Food and service in the evening very slow because unprofessional. It seemed that only trainees were divided into dinner. Long waiting times at the buffet, despite pre-registration and also promises of a separate room for eating was not adhered to. The culinary arts also did not reach the standard of this House. Pork fillet instead of delicately pink fried there was this as raw meat! Pity, and no willingness to appease the customers!

The Maritim's rather weathered looking exterior hides a very pleasant hotel within. Standard rooms are spacious and well appointed, room service was reasonably priced, varied and of excellent quality. The hotel pool and sauna is small, but clean and relaxing. Staff were courteous and accomodating (especially by German standards) and spoke great English. The hotel is minutes from Darmstadt hbf, on a frequently used tram line, and about 20 minutes walk from the town center. Reccomended for business or leisure.

Very nice room, but breakfast wasn't included, the hotel location is not really close to much and the staff was rude. There are other places to stay in Darmstadt, can't recommend this one. Will not return.

Quiet room, super breakfast is all what you need to power up your tired body. And if it is not enough go for a swim as the swimming pool is great as well. Recommended 100%

Great hotel, I stayed for one night for work. The room was very spacious and bright. Probably the furniture is not the most modern. The bathroom was very clean and functional.

Nice hotel, shower is really strong and satisfying. 3 minute walk to train station into Frankfurt am Main HBF. Super convenient.

After the renovation, there are in the Hotel nothing to complain about! Very modern furnishings, Plasma TV, modern bathrooms, swimming Pool, Sauna and more! A real recommendation from me.

After the refurbishment a great place to stay.

As Event and Incentive Agency, we have a communicative Bürogolf or Hotelgolf Event at the Maritim Darmstadt. As a team-building measure played nearly 120 participants through the conference rooms and the Foyer. The communication with the Hotel Contact was great and we were very much. As a conference hotel, we can recommend the Maritim and hope for many more Events locally.

Rooms should be renovated. Also the meeting rooms need an Overhaul. As the ballroom is the Great yet, but for presentations, etc, Maybe a bit too much carpet and panelling. The Veranstaltungscrew however, very professional, also the people in the catering area. But if possible, soft I on the Maritim compared in Darmstadt. Transport links at both Maritims excellent. Here, even with a spacious underground car Park.

Located in the Museum incl CRT TV. Would have been nice 10 years ago, renovated must be totally old. For this is the atmosphere much too expensive. Big plus is the convenient location.
