Everything ok accepting the windows overlook the railway.

Full Hotel right next to the Train station. Still, no noise Problem. Rooms modern and appealing. Good Breakfast. The Car park can only be reached via a Car Lift!

I attended a first aid Course in a Room of the Hotel on Wednesday, May 16. The Front desk staff was friendly and accommodating, everything was clean and clear and there was even a small coffee buffet. Overall, a very good Impression.

Good Hotel, very good service, I usually go there for business. Breakfast is classic but everything is there. It's close to the main roads and public transports.

Very nice and well maintained hotel. However, you have to schedule a lot of time at check-in and check-out. Important if you have to catch a train.

A good hotel in a direct location to the central station with connections to the city centre and Fast Bus service (air liner) to Frankfurt Airport.

The welcome is really nice since the parking lots are right in front of the hotel! The building itself is averagely looking. Reaching Frankfurt by train costs quite a lot but meeting for a ride in front of the hotel is a great possibility — as long as there are no street works.

3 nights without breakfast, Schirner days, was really OK and very clean, a great bathroom… you could even sleep without Ohropax, although you are right at the central station, from the price OK.

A very good and modern hotel with a central location and all possibilities. Rooms are very modern and clean. Staff very nice and the breakfast is also great. Free and above all fast WLAN are given and the TV would not stingy the size! Can I recommend to anyone! Always happy to be back!

Central location at the HBF as advertised and used by intercity. Clean and modern hotel, breakfast is good, maybe a little expensive for €15

Nice hotel, clean room but unfriendly staff at check-in. The hotel is near the train station, could be annoying if you are not used to traffic noise.

Best place and very near to Tram, bus and train station. Very near to gym, mc Donald's, subway and many others. You would get a free intracity transport pass.

It is very calm and clean. Clerks are very kind and they serve a free bus and tram card for each person. Parking is very convenient and its location is very close to a wonderful beer house!

My first stay has not made a hugely favourable impression about the usability aspects of the rooms, but this is based on my stay in one room. There is very little lighting in the room. The bedside switches (2+1) were for the bed lights and hallway. All there was to light the main area was a floor lamp and desk lamp. Because of the lack of lighting you could see all the tears and holes in the curtains, made of some horribly textured polyester or plastic material. I also noted the badly designed bathroom layout. Nowhere to hang a towel within reach of the shower, tiny soap dish, intrusive paper roll holder, head bashing heated towel rail, toe bashing undersink cabinet. No kettle & cups either. On the plus side, air-con that works, fluffy towels, voluminous wardrobes, two chairs & table, ample sockets, and reasonably good sound insulation. Fairly priced too, but excludes breakfast (in my stay anyway). I'd stay again, after exploring some of the other hotels in the area first.

Very well located hotel, next to the train station. Despite that it's not loud. The rooms are well equipped, clean and with minibar and air conditioning. The staff is friendly and helpful. Two nights or more, you will get a free ticket to use the public transport for the whole time of your stay. Wi-Fi is for free and works fine. I travel a lot on business and the Intercity Hotel is a quite good place to stay. I can totally recommend it.

The room was pretty clean and okay. There is only two problem. First, as almost any other intercity hotel it is next to HBF and NOISES. Second, the shower gel bottle was empty in my room and as we were a group, the next morning I found out the problem existed in other rooms as well.

I spent most of my two week work trip to Germany at this hotel due to its proximity to the office. The room I was in ("Superior" room) was spacious, the bathroom was super nice, and everything was very clean. However, this hotel's free Wi-Fi and wired internet is horrendously slow. I felt like I was back on a first generation cable modem rocking 256kbps. It's also worth noting when I first arrived, the hotel was completely booked and they had no room for me, however they had already pre-arranged a room at the Maritim hotel nearby for the first night until they had a room for me. After I asked for it, they also upgraded me to have free breakfast for the second part of my stay which didn't have it. I think they did a decent job handling the situation, but should have given me some sort of compensation without having to ask.

Despite the close proximity to the train station, the rooms are pleasantly quiet if you allow the Windows and use the air conditioning. The breakfast buffet is perfectly equipped.

It is a very clean hotel, quiet, cozy, well located and where you get very good deal. The rooms are spacious with just the right and necessary to not charge the room. It's all very new. The bathroom is very clean and very bright. Continental breakfasts are buffet style: croissants, Neapolitan chocolate, various types of cereals, yogurts, jams, milk (normal hot and cold, fresh and lactose free) yogurts, coffees and breads, sausages, boiled eggs and scrambled, … If I have to return to Darmstadt, I will definitely return to this hotel.

The perfect location next to the station. The rooms were nice and friendly. The only one beats a lobby with little space if you want to work for a while.

By a business appointment, I was able to meet the Conference area. He is modern, very attractively decorated and clean. Also the served snacks were excellent. Very recommendable :)

Good… no frills, ideal hotel for people passing or arriving only to sleep. There are not many TV channels. The room has no iron or kettle.

I was so to speak "permanent guest". The InterCityHotel in Darmstadt was one of the better hotels nearby the central railway station. The location is positive note. Check-in was mostly without any major problems. The rooms were always tidy and clean. Also the technical condition of the room was alright. Only the (slow) free Wi-Fi was a small blemish. For a fee you can be booked however on a higher speed. As the hotel is located between the forecourt and the Rails it is somewhat louder than on the land in the rooms. But you get used to it very quickly. It is no matter whether you have a room in the direction of tracks or towards the station forecourt. On the one hand, the trains passing by thunder and rumbling on the other side of the tram around the corner. The bathroom was modern and bright. Here by my side there to complain about anything. The breakfast was good. The usual breakfast from the buffet. Sometimes, the staff had been somewhat overwhelmed at breakfast. Since the tables were partly not cleared or not refilled the food. But otherwise there was nothing objectionable there also. Most notable to emfpand the FreeCityTicket. Namely, with this ticket, you can use the public transport in Darmstadt. This is erhähltich at the reception free of charge. With this ticket, you can explore the city well. Something else offers no hotel here near.

The InterCityHotel Darmstadt is very good and the Breakfast is super.

Rooms are very updated and nice. Close to trains and buses. The staff is outstanding… would love to stay longer but we are only here for one day.

The lady at the reception was over calls. Our rooms out to be wrong and we have to wait until all the others have checked in. No compensation, an apology… To the extremely loud train traffic and no earplugs at a Hotel in stock… Breakfast was small and skinny. Hardly any choice and no 13€ value! Rooms are cold, the sink was calcified.

Incompetent and rude staff. No free Wi-Fi, but sold the same fee. Guests were due to alleged non-payment of the Breakfast table away — this turned out in retrospect as a mistake of the staff. The guests went without Breakfast and did, I'm sorry. From the Hotel you can only advise against it.

Whatever was good, here is the knockout: "Free" Internet was purposely crippled to unusably slow speed (stated as max. 0.25 Mbit/s! — in my experience probably even slower). Even normal newspaper pages took minutes to load. Hated it.

Excellent bathroom, comfortable bed and lovely and quiet despite being close to station. Breakfast was good too. Internet was slow. In my opinion, great value for money.

The hotel is new, clean and simple. As a frequent business traveler, they made choices which detract from the comfort such as a single small pillow for the bed and towels so thin it was hard to dry off. The iron lacked steam so it was difficult to remove wrinkles from jacket. There is no workout room and the restaurant is extremely limited.

A bit cold place if you aren' german. I am here for a congress an I had somehow the feeling this bein a german-only hotel. Sad, since hotel itself is really a good one.

Newest 3 star in Darmstadt just opened last Aug 1, 2012. Friendly English speaking staff, moderately priced rates, a few steps to train station, free night parking. Day parking fee applies at city rate.
