Very nice place with very good food and drinks for a low price.

This is the best Georgian food I have ever had! The food is fresh, big portion, not too salty, and rich in flavor. The hosts are super kind to us. We ate there everyday during our trip to Akhaltsikhe.

For the price, this en-suite room was excellent. We're not talking 5* posh hotels here, but for the area and price this was exceptionally clean, comfortable and well looked after.

Hotel Woodland Borjomi is a real gem of rising Georgia. World-class apartments in a quiet location, with a view to Cura river, town and surrounding mountains.

I was here only in Restaurant, was passing by after Rabati castle, couldn’t expect that the food would be that good. 😍 All the dishes I ordered were fresh, newly made, out of oven.

I had an excellent meal here. Delicious kharcho, friendly staff (who spoke English and explained the proper way to eat khinkali — not with a knife and fork 😜), good atmosphere and reasonable prices.

Had a beautiful 2 night stay here with my partner. We had breakfast and dinner which was delicious. They even made it vegan upon request.
The family was lovely and welcoming.
Can't wait to go back!

We've had an lovely stay at hotel hobbiton. Awesome host that built this place on his own, produces really nice local wine and is also about to make his own whiskey.

Very reasonably priced hotel. In bit of a backstreet in the town but it's a 10 minute walk to the centre.

Best view ever! vardzia is just across the bridge.
Water pressure was so low, shower was a trickle.

What you see is what you get. Basic facilities, but comfortable, clean and very good value for money. The breakfast was huge.

Very good location, walking direction from the castle and just close to the Turkish bath. The hosts are very welcome and eager to help if there is a need.

The kind host ran to castle and fortunately we met each other.

Golden Gate Hotel in Akhaltsikhe was an absolutely perfect choice. From start to finish, everything was well-organized and pleasant.

Great place, small and simple, but with amazing beer, tranquil environment, helpful and attentive owners — he remembered the beers we preferred and brought us what we liked.

A hotel with a great view over Vardzia. A friendly old man is running the hotel. Although it is not comparable with the resort near by but I would rather stay here again than in the resort.

This restart had the best khinkali I had ever tasted! They were not only tasty but also properly done without the pastry breaking apart. Besides, we were provided with tasty wine and great meat😋
