Very pleasant stay in the city center of Marseille. Small room but to sleep alone one night, no worries.

Clean and nice IBIS. Visit in the context of the Marathon of Marseille and we slept very well in the bedding of good quality!
Small downside: The elevator is very very small, not very fast either!
The view from our room to the 7th floor is unsatisfactory… very helpful staff and even offers to keep our suitcases after rendering the keys to the room.
Crossing in Marseille I go back without worries.

Hotel not suitable for school groups. Unsecured neighborhood. A lot of delinquency. Our students are assaulted by petty criminals who cause fights to steal and threaten with a white weapon. Not recommended.

Cramped room, Ascenszur small and long for a 7-floor hotel. Medium cleanliness Service, traces of limestone and mould… If not good and helpful staff. Bedding and Breakfast in the Ibis standards… Hotel of passage to avoid if you wish to spend a good time on Marseille…

Ideally located between Saint Charles train station and the old port. Small rooms and view behind the building without interest but still the quality of the Ibis services.

Hotel honest quality room small purchase of an umbrella that s is proven defective but no commercial gesture granted which is detrimental to the overall assessment.

Certainly not a trendy IBIS, but rather good anyway. The cleanliness is adequate, the bedding impeccable comfort side, the hostesses very pleasant. I have not been disturbed by the soundproofing, but it must depend on the room, and respect the customers vis-à-vis the others… Breakfast though, although I saw much better in the IBIS Kitchen concept, especially Nice. On the other hand, it will take a bit of luck and/or patience to find a table where to place its plateau between 7:30 and 9am. So it's skimpy. Another minus: no parking. The nearby Republic parking lot costs around 20€ a night!

Budget hotel at Marseile center with 24 hrs bar and snack service. Friendly staff and walkable to Center. Rooms are small. Decent breakfast includes with the room.

Friendly hotel with a nice staff where you can find very nice rooms in value for money.
They are certainly small but clean well kept and the bedding is comfortable.

It smells like moisture! And every time! (I tried the experiment twice. )

For what it is, it was perfect for short stay. It is not the Ritz. Very small room but clean. Great location. Close to restaurants and close walking distance to metro. Price reasonable. Front desk spoke English and were very helpful.

Very very small rooms, expensive rates. Our room had a view towards the main street, you can feel and hear the tram passing by every time. Not recommend!

Conveniently located between the rail station and the Vieux Port offers a pretty comfortable option for a shit visit. Unfortunately my experience wasn't the best. My bathroom lacked of shoap dispenser in the showed and in general the bathroom wasn't as clean as should be.

Affordable — Fairly small lobby — Local baggage — air conditioning — lemonade offered. Friendly staff.

The + of the Hotel is its location, located a few steps from the old Port and transport.

First of all, it's an Ibis, so don't expect luxury. The room is very clean and comfortable and the placement is very good. The crew is also great and always very helpful.

Not far from the old port, the shopping area and the Saint Charles train station.

Close to the old harbour (5 minutes walk), good reception, very good and hearty breakfast, friendly and professional staff … but prices too high, rooms little bright, sometimes antiquated, small and stifling …

Rooms at the IBIS look, that is to say of the last century. If you ask for a sunny room, you will be on the back with views of a dump where I could see rats of Honourable size play cat. I'm on the 3 rd floor, the occupants of the building next door have views of my room. I have a thought for my fellow sufferers of the lower floors who like me paying room them.
The small lunch is ridiculously small and it takes to access a table.
For the rest, everything is as usual at IBIS: no free Wi — Fi, no teapot of courtesy to make decaf. Or a tea. No nothing, everything is at a minimum, even SOAP, and in addition they do not take the loyalty card of the Group Accor, the A-Club, except for a weekend stay.
The staff is friendly but rather amateur. My question about the possibility of parking they send me to a car park at 800 m (stock exchange) so that there is one right next door (Republic)
Take the price of the room, add the parking and the mite to Orange for Internet access: the Bill is rising very quickly.
For a fee in the same order, so I recommend Kyriad chain, you will through touches feel very justified less you have.
Otherwise, feel free to flee the city centre

To advise all those who want to be cool in the center of marseille.

Great location as others have noted. Cell-like room however, with nothing in the way of 'comforts'. No tea/coffee facilities rudimentary toiletries etc. When I was here the bar/restaurant was closed for refurbishment as well which with not even a cup of coffee in the room made for a very spartan experience. Not a big deal as it meant I could explore the local area for cafes and bars, but still a bit of a pain. Wi-Fi connection is available, but limited to 200MB in any 24 hour period, which was a bit limiting for me, but maybe not for most people. Also you don't receive one-off access for the entirety of your stay, rather for a 24 hour period which you have to renew for each day of your stay.
