Nice little bijou hotel close to all the main attractions. Bath was positively dangerous. Tucked into a corner in a weird setup that made it very difficult to get in and out of. Ended up only having one shower while I was there because I was afraid of coming a cropper. But rest of room was fine. View across rooftops at breakfast was pretty special. But food was a traditional continental breakfast so had a chunk of cheese and a yogurt. No gluten free bread available.
We spent two nights at the Hotel Bac St Germain. The room was overlooking the street but quiet with the windows shut and the aircon worked very efficiently. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was cosy but clean and all in working order. Breakast on the terrace was great — a simple continental style breakfast but really nice to have it in the open air looking out over the city. There is a good cafe on the corner right next door, and all the museums etc are within easy walking distance.
Great location! Very friendly staff. Comfy bed. Excellent breakfast with a lovely view. A good cafe/brassiere a few doors down serving food all day with friendly waiters. I would love to go back again soon!
