Very well located close to the beach, the harbour, restaurants. Beautiful pool on the patio side for swimming or sunbathing. Very welcome, comfortable and clean room, quiet. Very nice stay.

Conveniently located two minutes' walk from the beaches and the city centre, this hotel offers an excellent welcome.
The rooms are spacious and clean.
All staff are competent.
And, in order to enhance the stay, an outdoor swimming pool with sunbeds are available to guests.

Well kept hotel, friendly welcome, rooms properly insulated and warm, redo the joints of the marble plates of the bathrooms would be a plus. There is an ecological effort (green key) to greet even if efforts are still to be made. Good heating in Hivervalue for money right off season…

We had a wonderful stay at the America Hotel! The welcome of Anne and Nicolas is always so warm! The hearty breakfast, I would definitely recommend this place!

It's somewhat spartan but we were more than happy with our accommodations at Citotel Amerique. The staff was incredible. The pool and hot tub are nice but they close far too early. Great walking distance to everything including an excellent cafe for breakfast just two blocks away and one of the most relaxing beaches in the world just a casual 5 minute walk away. Perfect. Definitely book directly on their website or call them. We booked through a travel website only to discover that we over-payed by about $30 per night. We will be back!

What a good week we stayed at the HOTEL America! general comfort, room very nice clean, efficient, quiet air conditioning, delicious breakfasts, a personalized, attentive and warm welcome, great helpfulness… availability, friendliness, charm and delicacy of cheerfulness in the air from morning to evening with Mary, Sarah, Charlotte, Laure, Nicolas… Miss me him names… All of the pros! And the pool, the excellent jacuzzi, a little piece of paradise!

There are in principle two Hotels. The main house and a Motel with a swimming pool. I was in the main house room 2 June 2015). Very nice, large room with air-conditioning, bathroom with bath and HD TV (only French). Closed Parking (9€/Day). Very nice staff, always available. For France a rich Breakfast (8€). I really liked it, would stay here again.

Staff were ok. Bedroom was not up to par. Bed was thin and hard. We didn't use the pool our other facilities so cannot rate them. Location was great for the town. Town itself nice little fishing port and some great restaurants. Fish fantastically fresh. Just stay somewhere else.
