We stayed 3 nights at this beautiful B&B in lovely Carcassonne. The room was lovely, and the outside area with pool was really great to spend some time relaxing. About 10 minutes walk to the old town, which is like a fairytale and such a great place to visit even in August it was not too busy.

Four of us (two couples) stayed here for three nights at the start of October. A beautiful B&B, with very comfortable bedrooms and fabulous communal areas, including a lovely pool and garden. There was even a very reasonably priced honesty wine fridge: perfect! Breakfast was great and set you up for the day! The hosts were so welcoming, without being intrusive and a font of information on all that beautiful Carcassone has to offer. They have two beautiful and very well trained schnauzers who were the icing on the cake for us! We would heartily recommend to anyone travelling to Carcassone.

Fabulous hosts, the property and rooms are amazing including very comfortable beds which you just don’t want to get out of but please do as you don’t want to miss the great breakfast that is provided!
Perfect location near fantastic bars and restaurants.

We had a lovely stay here, it's a peaceful spot! The owners are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was generous, rooms were clean and tidy, pool and outside area was great. It was easy to walk to the old city but also new town. Really don't have a bad word to say :)

Absolutely lovely place to stay. Located between the old town and the very old town. The owners are very helpful with info on local area, restaurants etc.
A fresh varied breakfast each morning which we ate on the patio.
We had two hot days so the pool was most welcome after a busy morning sightseeing.
We were picked up from the airport for 10€, a bargain. You can buy a bottle of wine for 10€…. This was available in a chilled cabinet and was very handy when we bought food back for a late lunch one day.
The room was very clean, nicely decorated and had the most enormous ceiling fan which kept us cool, there is aircon too. The two schnauzers were a delight too.
I would return here without hesitation, we had a great stay.

We were attending a family wedding at La Belle Echo and wanted to stay in Carcassonne. What a brilliant choice 45bb was. Rooms excellent. Pool and patio lovely and private. The continental breakfast was lovely. The owners were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for. Definitely will be back.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! The couple that own it are so welcoming and friendly, they can’t do enough for you, but at the same time are not intrusive at all. We felt so comfortable and at ease. The room was absolutely beautiful, we had room 1 overlooking the pool with the table on the balcony, which was lovely to have lunch on in the sun. Guests have free use of downstairs which again is beautifully decorated. The hotel is easy walking distance from all the sights in Carcassonne, perfectly situated and despite being on a main road it is very quiet. The owners offer a ride to and from the airport for a small cost (€10), cheaper than a taxi, Uber or bus. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. Would definitely return without hesitation.

What a quaint and lovely B&B. It's located just outside the old town, but only a 5 minute walk to Place Carnot and the town centre. It's also walking distance to the Canal du Midi and the old walled city of Le Cite. There are only five rooms spread across the two floor so it felt private but there is a communal lounge room and outdoor pool area to mingle with the other guests. Some rooms overlook the pool area so I'd recommend one of those in summer. Breakfast was really lovely — so fresh and simple. The hosts are the best! Sadie and Joachim were so welcoming and friendly (and the two fur babies are just adorable). Would definitely recommend.

The French call B&B chambres d’hôtes and the hôtes or owners of 45BB extend a genuinely warm welcome whilst remaining professional and discreet at the same time.
The property is elegantly furnished with interesting objets d’art which add a unique personal touch, and contributing to a very relaxed ambience. The pool courtyard provides an additional area in which to escape the buzz of the town and unwind after a day’s sightseeing. Our bedroom was spacious and very comfortable, and everything was perfectly clean.
Breakfast was delicious with a selection of both savoury and sweet options, all very fresh and typically French.
We stayed for 2 nights and could easily have stayed longer. Hopefully we will be back!

Great hosts and a lovely place to stay to explore Carcassone. Whole venue very clean and stylish, breakfast was generous and the both the room and bed itself was very comfortable. Wife fell in love with the new puppy keeping Juno on her toes. Would definitely stay here again.

Just back from the most wonderful stay at 45BB. Fabulous hosts who were so friendly, beautiful house (and pool) in a fantastic location, making it easy for us to walk to the Medieval walled city but also spend time in the Bastide Saint Louis. Lots of great restaurants and we enjoyed a beautiful sunny day on the canal du midi. You certainly won’t be disappointed if you book to stay here — it has everything you could want.

Picked 45BB from its great reviews and inviting pictures, we weren't disappointed. It's centrally located and convenient for both parts of the town. On entrance the hallway itself is amazing leading to lovely accommodation. We decided to stay in the gite as we like a bit more space. It was amazing, clean, with a switch for everything. It was really quiet and you could choose whether to use separate entrance or simply walk across to the main accommodation. We chose to have breakfast which was plentiful, great quality and good value. The owners are lovely and integrate with you as much or little as you like. For a small charge they even collected us and dropped us back at the airport. Perfect. 🙂

This is a wonderful place to stay. Joachim, Sadie and little Juno were wonderful hosts. This boutique hotel is absolutely beautiful, a peaceful oasis, the rooms are gorgeous, very comfortable and spacious. Lovely breakfast with plenty of fresh produce and a lovely, tranquil pool. It’s the little touches that make this place so special, not least the way Joachim and Sadie made us feel so at home and Joachim even picked us up from and brought us to the airport. The location is ideal for exploring the beautiful city. This charming boutique hotel made this weekend away with my daughter very special.

One of the best places we have stayed, in a very long time! Sadie, Joachim and Juno are very welcoming and have pretty much thought of everything to make sure your stay is as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
There are little touches everywhere to suprise and delight and it gives the feel of a luxury hotel. Crisp bedsheets and beautiful interiors! We are already looking forward to returning on our next trip to Carcassonne. Don't hesitate if considering booking, you won't regret it!

This is an exceptional little boutique hotel. Friendly hosts, lovely big clean room, charming garden with a pool, delicious breakfast and close to the old town and the Cité. Very thoughtful touches throughout the hotel — pool towels, iced water on the patio, anti — mosquito burners, honesty bar (extremely well priced). Don't miss the chance to spend time here.

45BB is a beautiful house within walking distance of both the Cite and the Bastide (Carcassonne Town). Sadie and Joachim — along with the delightful Schnauzer, Juno are your hosts and are warm, welcoming and friendly. They provide a delicious continental breakfast daily which includes cereal, cheese, French bread, divine croissants and yummy jam. A special mention for the Yorkshire Tea bags which went down very well! Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean with A/C, a mini fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. A super comfy bed and soft pillows ensured a great night’s sleep. The pool area is a fabulous bonus and again Sadie and Joachim have thought of everything by providing pool towels. An honesty bar and ice machine means you can hydrate while you soak up the rays. Carcassonne is a great base to travel from to other areas and the train station is only a short walk away from 45BB.
