Carcassonne Hotels

We were only spending one night in Carcassonne and so picked this hotel for its location and price point.

This is a really nice small hotel close to the castle. The hotel is very clean and the owners very pleasant.

Excellent food, attentive service, well worth a visit.

Going back in time happens just like that when you enter this domain. The energy, the ambiance, wow. Huge trees, green lawns, lots of flowers.

Serge and Jean Yves have totally understood the meaning of hosting. They are beyond compare.

Simply superb. Serge and Jean-Yves are the nicest guys and nothing was too much trouble. We felt like we were staying with our best friends.

We had a delightful stay with Marianne and Stephan in this charmingly restored house. A very practical location for visiting both the old and 'new' Carcassonne.

We stayed in this beautiful spot in April 2025. Chris and Lisa were fabulous hosts. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean. The breakfast each morning was delicious.

We had a wonderful stay, Regis is an absolute pleasure to talk to. The CdH is a beautiful old building with really stylish rooms and bathrooms. There are beautiful pieces of furniture.

A really special place to stay. Régis is the perfect host. The rooms are beautiful, and the location ideal for the bastide. Plus Régis serves the best breakfast in town. Superb!

Had a fantastic 4 night stay, Sadie and Joachim were amazing hosts the house was beautiful and in a perfect location, the Breakfast was really lovely and fresh and we absolutely loved the dogs!

First impression: We're pulling into Carcassonne. Rolling down the main drag. Hoping to find a parking space not too far from where we'll be staying.

A wonderful stay at La Villa Carcassonne. Juliet is an excellent hostess. Very comfortable room with all amenities provided. Superb breakfast with home made cakes as an extra treat.

We were at this wonderful B&B last week for 3 nights. Dominique reached out to us and picked us up at the train station since it was raining.

I spent a week at the L'Oree de la Cite with my extended family and we were very happy. The location is great, close to the airport and a short walk from the old quarters.

We enjoyed a wonderful week in April at L'Oréal de la Cité with family and friends.

A lovely traditional farmhouse. Host was very welcoming. The rooms were clean and spacious and the breakfast was excellent.

People in hospitality need to be like Brigitte!

Superb Location with Breathtaking Carcassonne Views!
This hotel boasts an absolutely perfect location, offering incredible views of the medieval town of Carcassonne.

My wife and I stayed here for one night. It’s within 15 mins of the main centre of the city and just by the walls of medieval citadel.
The air con was much appreciated and the room was well appointed.

We booked a room at the last minute, and our host was very accommodating. The quarters were immaculate and spacious, with peek-a-boo views of the ramparts.

Excellent little bed and breakfast located less than 5 minutes walk from the medieval CITÉ. Anthony is very hospitable and nothing is too much for him.

Great location close to old city and town centre. Great hosts, excellent breakfast, lovely room.

We’ve just arrived home from our 2nd holiday in carcassone staying again with Chris & Harry. This is THE place to stay! They shower you with warmth and hospitality from the moment you arrive.

The door off the street looks just like any other door in the street. Once you open the entrance door into the old stone corridor, history hits you. This place is absolutely delightful.

First thing — Virgine is the perfect host. This B&B is an absolute find behind big plain door. Beautiful rooms, exquisitely designed and considered with lots of thoughtful touches.

Fantastic hotel, from check in to check out everything was great. Andre was great and looked after us. Lots of safe parking for our motorbikes.

The dinner was absolutely delicious! The receptionist was helpful and friendly, and the rooms are well-equipped — we had everything a person might need for a comfortable stay.

Surprise stay very original for my 60 years. Haven of peace, conviviality, excellent table, very beautiful experience that will remain engraved in my memory.

What a lovely find! Katy and Olivier have created the coziest chambre d’hôte located right on the Canal du Midi. Their design sense is impeccable and the breakfasts are to die for.

Clean, comfortable and antique design of room. Perfect location, just few minutes walk from train station. Excellent homemade breakfast from Katy and Olivier. Definitely will come back again❤️

This is a great hotel in a really good location, only a short walk to the centre of Carcassonne.

We visited specifically for a concert at the Carcassonne Festival so only stayed a couple of nights (tend not to use hotels for stays over 3 nights), but it was a very pleasant stay.

Arrived to be greeted by friendly professional staff at check in, given keys to our room, told everything we needed to know about the hotel facilities.

Stayed at this hotel in August 2025. We loved the themed decor. Our family room was amazing with an outside area where you could see the pool. Kids loved the bunk bed.

We had a wonderful time staying at this hotel. The location is amazing, in the countryside, with a huge garden. Filled with birdsong.

Luckily I found this small accommodation and booked two nights. We enjoyed the friendly welcome, the clean room and Carole’s famous scrambled egg breakfast.

On arrival here I wasn't sure if I had come to the right place, as the outside didn't look like a B&B at all. Once inside it was a totally different look.

Our wonderful hosts reached out shortly after booking as it was a last minute reservation.
