Vintage Paris Gare du Nord by Hiphophostels Hostel

Friendly staff with 24/7 service. We used a coupon, so we did not pay, hence we do not know the price. However, the room is sufficient spacious for two persons, primarily to sleep in. All rooms have air conditioning, which is very nice. The hotel is clean and the rooms are as well. Lastly, the breakfast is a bit on the pricey side for what you get. It's 6 euros per person, but there are only croissants, white baguettes and jams/honey in little cups. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Very happy with the service, cleanliness, and facilities available of this hostel. I arrived late, booked the wrong night, but was able to change it to the right night without being charged… and was very happy with the price too! Highly recommend!

The rooms are not very spacious, but it's clean and the staff is courteous, helpful and friendly. The hostel is very well located, ready from the North Station which offers several subway access. In addition, they offer a shuttle service to get to the airport for a very competitive price that eliminates the headache and stress of getting around. I highly recommend the establishment.

Nicely located in Paris, close to the metro. The beds, atleast the room I slept in, were made of squicky metal which meant every little movement could be heard. Breakfast is not free, although it is not expensive at all. It consists of coffee, juice, croissant and a pastry. I enjoyed my stay here, and the staff was very kind and smiling In the rooms there is a little metal 'locker' under the beads where you can store your belongings. But do bring your own lock as it does not come with when checking in. Also there is a kitchen where you can cook your food if you'd like and almost right next to the hostel there is a supermarket.

A good hostel, nice location, quite clean and a big nice lobby. Also there's a useful supermarket next door. Still the rooms are tiny and both the lift and stairs are not very comfortable.

A hostel like there are many. The price is really ingenious for parisian conditions. Breakfast is also okay for Paris. However, the rooms might be a little better. Especially the bathrooms are sometimes very small. Even the soundproofing is not the best due to the thin walls. But if you are here only to sleep, it is enough for you to have a supermarket for self-sufficiency right next door. Open from 9am-9pm.

Great location and very friendly staff. Rooms are smaller but to be expected with a hostel. Private rooms come with their own bathroom which was a definite plus. Lobby is a friendly and relaxed place to hangout. Overall great experience.

Very warm n cozy place. Clean&Neat. Bathrooms were the cleanest. Host was very friendly and He played a lot of Indian songs.

Very hospital reception and warm atmosphere. For those who from China or other Asian countries, there is a restaurant nearby (go out and turn right about 30meters) where you can eat rice, chicken, beer etc. I ordered a half chicken and rice then I am so full that I don't want to move. Of course there is a not small supermarket near the hotel too. Good hotel for you.

Nice little hotel 10 min from north train station, friendly staff, rooms are small but cossy, gym access and a lift, locked luggage room so if you arrive early (check in at 3pm), can leave them there and go enjoy Paris.

Very good hotel, reasonably priced and in the heart of Paris, the curious thing is that after two days speaking in English we realized that they also spoke Spanish, has an excellent living room, and also a small kitchen to dissociation of the guests, next to it there is a market, so if you can cook, show off!

Nice hotel near a subway the rooms are small but comfortable the welcome and friendly.

Reception staff is very nice and helping. Kitchen is available if u want to cook Ur own food. Tap water is portable. Free coffee without milk. Breakfast is only 6€ but not worth it.

Clean rooms but very tiny. Barely enough room when four room dorm is full and all have suitcases. You will be climbing over luggage to get to your bed. Not all of the power points work. I stayed two nights and had to move to a different room on my second night. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The place is cozy, as you can store your food in the kitchen (putting a label with your details), includes breakfast, the rooms are very small, however each bed has its charger (usb), lamp and normal electrical connector. Its location is good as it is close to meters and the area of souvenirs and cheap.

Ideal location, 10 ' from Gare du Nord (trains, Metro, Eurostar (Fast connection Paris-London), Young, prepared and sympathetic staff, youthful but correct environment with continuous entrance and cleaning controls. Great breakfast.

It was as you expect a hostel to be. It was clean and tiddy. They do have a small kitchen which was nice. The location is great. Just half an hour walk to the Louvre. The rooms were small, but you don't come to Paris for the room.

Great place for a quick over night. Stayed in a shared room, roommates where lovely, and the downstairs common room is very welcoming. Only reason for 1 star taken away is that the bathroom had the barest of minimums. Toilet paper, but no soap, no towels, or even part towels. Would certainly stay again!

The price was very good for being a hostel. The bathrooms are very small and the rooms smell wet. Breakfast is very basic and should be given Parisian hams and cheeses. The service and location were great.

Was in a 4 bed dorm with onsuit bathroom. Not sure if all the rooms have the same layout but our room was more spacious than expected after reading all the reviews. The bathroom was very nice. House keeping came every day. Not the most thorough but kept things decently clean. Plenty of lockers to keep your stuff save. Unless you really care for your coffee with milk which will cost you an arm and a leg in france, the hostel breakfast isn't worth it. Grab something from a bakery instead. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The surrounding area is a little less touristy which reflects in the restaurant prices near by. I met lots of nice people in my room but the common area in the hostel Is not social. People don't really interact so if you are hoping to gather people there to go for dinner with or something you will have a hard time. The baggage storage and shower that u can use before your check in time was much appreciated and is very convenient if u arrive in the morning after a long flight.

I booked a single room, but upon arrival I was told that due to a system error, my reservation was for a 6 persons female bedroom. They claimed it was due to an error at Expedia, and it has been happening for quite some time. It was a decent hostel, but I can't give it a high grade because of this. It shows poor management to solve a big issue. Come on… Contact with Expedia or whatever and solve it already, don't let it slide and be a problem for the next guess!

Very good, the room a little small, one of the guys I attendised is Argentinian so I make things easier to consult, I do not speak very well English.

Very friendly staff and good location. The small rooms that others speak of are completely manageable, especially if you're planning on spending your time out and about anyhow. The kitchen is nice to have. My only warning: beware if you're a light sleeper. Between slamming doors and old plumbing, there are a few bumps in the night, as it were.

I'll never come back, I'll use airbnb from now on. During my stay in Paris I spent 5 days in an airbnb accommodation and 3 in this hostel. On the airbnb I got a much bigger room, absolute privacy and a better deal from my host than some of the receptionists of this hostel, plus airbnb I got cheaper than the Vintage hostel. In this hostel there are many things missing to make it comfortable, the rooms are very small, in the shower you hit your elbows with the wall, the bathroom door does not even open completely because it hits the toilet and there is no soap in the bathroom of the room. There was a receptionist of very rude and rude treatment, if I remembered his name I would put him here because he deserves to be fired, you have to be courteous and kind to work in a place where you have to speak other languages, if you mind having to speak English or Spanish that you are going to or because for hotel receptionist is no good. Anyway, I recommend you use airbnb or go to another hostel where you do appreciate the guests and recognize that thanks to tourists have work.

Very nice place in Paris to stay. Very friendly staff and fellow hostellers. The location is very convenient, very close to metro station 'Anvers' and also the major railway station 'Gare du Nord'. The rooms are clean. You can choose to cook your own food in the kitchen here. After check out time, you can keep your luggage in a common room. Lockers (paid service) are provided for keeping valuables. I felt the place very convenient, economical and safe.

Lovely hostel. Very near the station. The staff were very polite and helpful. Perfect for people travelling on a budget. I would definitely recommend.

Vintage Hostel is a great option for Paris. It was clean, well run and quiet for a hostel of its size. The staff was very helpful as well. Yes, they post to only take one of each item for breakfast, but that's the way it goes sometimes. There are only about a thousand other options a short walk away.

A hostel of first quality, rooms are small (almost everything in Paris is as well) and very clean, clean them daily, the staff is very friendly. Breakfast is a Parisian breakfast; coffee or tea and a croissant, which seems very little but in Paris breakfast that way. Two blocks from the metro is ideal if you return later and very close to Gare du nord, a side you will find a very economical convenience store.

This place is okay to stay in a pinch, but don't plan on staying for much time as there are much better/nicer hostels in the area for the same price. The rooms are clean, but bathrooms are small (the bathroom door wouldn't close in our room). Location is decent, it's about a 10 minute walk from Gare du Nord, and 5 minutes from a subway line that can take you anywhere in Paris. The major plus was our room had a balcony with table/chairs that overlooked the street, which was really cool.

The hostel was really easy to find. The people working there were hospitable and nice. My travel companions and I were in a four-person private. The room was small but workable for four girls, the bathroom was also ensuite. We got there at night so we really didn't know where to go in town but it was close to a lot of restaurants. The only thing I wish the hostel had was Wi-Fi in the rooms rather than in the lobby but other than that, it was fine for one night. If you're staying for one night, I would recommend this place.
