Stayed in this hotel with my family and everyone is satisfied! Clean rooms! Breakfast was ok! Nice and helpful staff!

Ahh… Where to start with this hotel. I booked it after I saw the reviews but I thought "Come on, it cant be THAT bad. " Plot twist: it was worse. The room was small but we knew about this. It was top floor and had nice view, especially at night. The only good thing. We got in the room and it smelled horrible so we needed to open the windows. It was February. The windows had mold on them, from the inside! Took pictures, of course. The room was cold and when we told the receptionist about opening the heat he told us no and just gave us blankets. The room had two towels, and when we asked for another one, the receptionist told us that it was late (22:00 O' clock) and we had to wait for the cleaning lady in the morning. We "marked" our towels with lipstick to see if they would changed them and the next day when we came back to our room, the towels were dirty with MASCARA. I don't know what Kind of joke it was that. The shower was clogged so there was water all over the place. The breakfast was included but everyday we need to eat elsewhere, because it was consisted of 1 yogurt, 1 croissand, 1 bread with jelly, per person. The receptionists were RUDE, ironic and sarcastic. All three of them. The neighborhood was not very safe at night, also. The metro was in front of us but with only one line so we had to change many of them. These stuff are not about price, is about the quality of all the hotels. If I could give Avenir less than a star, be sure that I would.

39 Boulevard Rochechouart, Paris, France-everything was pleasant. 50 meters to the metro, bus stop, friendly staff, cleaning daily, breakfast with croissants-super, near-300 meters of Basilica Sacré Coeur, 350 meters-Montmartre, 500 meters Moulin Rouge, cafes, shops-all within walking distance.

The hood in the room didn't work — that's where the muzzle was. Of the pluses — a window in the toilet. ) Breakfast was not taken.

Very well located, clean and well equipped. The owners are very kind. Deserves!

Room are small and dirty. In the bathroom there are few towels. The bed is small. The phone in broken. The receptionists are surly and not available to help. The only one good thing is that is near the subway.

This is normal hotel. You should go there.

The location is perfect, subway is located a minute away from the hotel, I was staying on the top flor and got the most wonderful city view to the church + a mini balcony (perfect for a romantic smoke/a morning coffee). The bathroom was renovated and looked clean. The room itself wasn't to big, but there was enough space for two. All in all it's a great place for a budget stay: not too expensive; close to the city centre (around10 minutes on a subway) ; there is a super market within 5minutes from the hotel (also on the other side of the street there was a gift shop) ; loads of restaurants, cafes and bars/pubs around the place and you can walk by foot to the famous Mullen Rouge.

If you just want a place to sleep acceptable. The only good thing is the situation Q has. 10mts Metro station Anvers 10 minutes from downtown.

Staff very helpful but very small rooms with dirty carpet and bagnobclean but too small.

With closed eyes, the rooms are only and more in need of renovation.

Hotel is easy to reach by public transport. Not far from the lively places at night and close to the concert halls. Well soundproofed. Friendly staff Good value for money.

We were given the trip completely… you would have looked for something else. But the price and the central location is great, the staff is super nice and the rooms are gegelmäßig renovated… it smelled of new color. The windows are very well-insulated from the noise.

Rooms just decent, a two star hotel, no more, fully mirrors its stars.

I touch a room overlooking the Sacre Cour. Exactly in front of the metro station. Breakfast is plentiful. The room is warm for the cold that month. The bathroom is tiny but enough for what one needs.

Very small room, but sufficient for a weekend getaway. Unfortunately, the soil was very dirty, here apparently no one has been sucked out any longer.
There were only rugs as blankets, these had partly unsavory stains, besides, strange hair was in bed.
We would not book the hotel again.

The location of the hotel was pretty great for those arriving by train on the Gare du Nord station. It was clean but we were missing towels wich were provided by staff.

At the foot of the Sacred Heart and the Antwerp metro station, bar restaurant available all around. On the other hand the building is certainly historic and therefore do not expect new. Walls are poorly insulated and provide extra blankets in cold times.

After our bust at Eurohotel we landed here. At short notice in the evening we got a double room for €90 without breakfast. Room was perfectly fine. The hotel is located directly on the Metro. We've done everything on foot. The Louvre is only 20-30 minutes away. There is always something going on on the road and so is an experience. We would take a room here again. If you want to sleep safe and well in Paris, you should plan between 100-150 € per night with two people. You get nothing special but we were only there to sleep. The entrance area looks a bit schrummelig but the rooms were really ok. There are also many bars, restaurants and bakeries nearby. The breakfast at the hotel can therefore be saved as well.

Their website is incredibly misleading. We came in and could not even move to close the door before hitting our bed. The rooms were also incredibly dirty with dirt on the blanket. There were no sheets or pillow cases, and the bathroom had no shower curtain as well as being dirty. The only upside is that it is close to the subway.

Ok but the most to ask is the room seen on Montmartre.

Two stars only for budget and location. Rooms are small, dingy and dirty. Metro station right across the street and great for a short walk to the Sacre Coeur. Some great places to eat and drink nearby.

Rude staff poor breakfast good location.

We stayed during New Years and a few days after. This hotel was extremely loud. Paper thin walls and ceilings. Frankly I felt bad for whomever was staying below me (I was on the 3rd floor). The elevator groans like a whale and we heard everyone going up and down the stairs and elevator perfectly. The only reason why I'm rating it with a 2 is that the staff was helpful and they spoke English a majority of the time, which was very cool. If you want to sleep, I wouldn't recommend this place.

For its location, is ideal for people who visit Paris.

My room was really nice with a big bathroom and a comfortable bed. The only problem is that it is really loud overnight, but thats nothing special in Paris I think. I enjoyed my stay in Hotel Avenir an would recommend it to everyone who is looking for a nice budget hotel in the heart of Paris.

Very noisy hotel. The doors are slamming. The hotel is surrounded by streets where night life prevents you from sleeping before midnight.
From 6H20, alarm clock linked to the arrival of the staff. A real mess.
Unless you have a heavy sleep, it is to be avoided.
Breakfast at 6 euros: coffee, a bun, a croissant, a yogurt, jam + butter.

Nice room, but the hotel is old and the service is limited. It's near to a subway station to get quickly to the touristic place. However, the neighbourhood is not safe when it's dark.

Avenir is what it is. Its an ideal base for exploring Paris nothing flash fairly dated but it was clean and comfortable for our stay with 2 adults and 2 children. Don't expect much as its a cheap hotel but if your on a budget and not too fussed it will do you fine.
