Good location, few steps to Moulin Rouge, but this 3 stars hotel lacks air conditioning (tiny fan was a joke), so the room is very hot, it was unbearable in Paris July summer, but meanwhile room and bathroom are spacious and very good.

Excellent location, great staff, and clean rooms. I will always book with Gold Hotel when I am in Paris.

You’d be better off staying in a single room at a hostel. I would recommend, caulaincourt square hostel (I will probably move there soon, just couldn’t book it over seas). Goldhotel cons: -not the cleanest place, I wouldn’t go as far as dirty, but definitely crusty -there is no shower curtain, so water everywhere -receptionist staff and manager are such a nussiance and are pretty rude, they do the bare minimum, and don’t explain anything upon check in. Then you end up having to go down and ask basic questions more than once just to get the full answer. -the hotel style/decoration/architecture are not aesthetically pleasing nor functional. -neighborhood is so noisy and, this is my fault, but I didn’t realize right next to moulin rouge, so sex shops and drunk idiots everywhere -the free Wi-Fi isn’t very good -also, the 24/7 door man checking in on you when you enter is odd, you feel like a teenager getting caught by your parents when you come in after curfew. Pros: -located near plenty of food, stores/markets, and attractions Overall, I’m unsastisfied, will not recommend this place or come back, and would rather stay in a hostel, at least they are cheap, in France they are clean, and the staff is chosen bc they are NOT rude.

The hotel is standard 3 star, the rooms are small but clean, everything is for convenience and great location! Close to everything! Monmantr in 2 steps, Moulin Rouge in front of the Louvre and the Eiffel buses. Definitely would have returned!

We stayed here for 3 nights.
Exceptional Location, practically with large on the Moulin Rouge and 4 minutes from the Metro. Many locals and pubs in the area.
Good price, just for the service offered great cleanliness and well catered rooms.

Rather comfortable (for the special price reduced) and well kept, on the other hand the outside is quite noisy and the building is poorly soundproof.

Well located and clean. Friendly staff, but the person who received it at night has no education or respect. The first night we got a room facing the main strip and it was impossible to sleep, too much noise. The next day we moved to another Q is right next d reception, which did not solve the problem PQ The Lord spent the night talking aloud and without closing the door of the hall, we go a week nonsense without being able to stick eye. I'd never come back.

The manager is rude. When I was leaving at 11pm he mentioned I needed to be back before 3am. Ugly rooms not worth it at all.

Small hotel, small rooms with no noise insulation.

Good hotel just opposite the road from the Moulin Rouge. The lady at the reception was very polite and cheerful. She was very helpful with advise on what to do in Paris. Breakfast (Eur8 pp) was good too which included hot food buffet. Rooms were clean but didnt have aircon which was fine during our stay in October but I would think twice in hot days of summer. The elevator is tiny, good enough for 1 person. The street is very lively even in at midnight and we felt safe there. I would recommend this hotel.

It's a seedy area. I was warned to be careful of the men but didn't realize it would apply to the hotel I was staying in as well. Very touchy guy working there, the front door was busted in while we were there and they charged me twice for the room. If you want to be close to the Moulin Rouge to have a beautiful view don't bother, there's a wall in the way. Room looked down on a courtyard to a bar where people partied all night. Sex shops on either side of you. The area is beautiful, just stay in at night.

Pathetic customer service. Manager was extremely rude and bloody nuisance. Management has to fire this guy as soon as possible to save this hotel from further loss of clients. No AC, and the rooms can get very hot in summer. Breakfast options are limited. Overall it sucks!

Firstly, the Wi-Fi connection did not work the entire time, front desk staff was clueless. Secondly, the hotel is situated by a traffic circle and you will hear honking, even more so if staying on a Friday or Saturday. Thirdly, no shower curtains so water would spray everywhere while showering. All that being said, the hotel is close to a lot of restaurants and is close proximity to underground and above ground train stops. You get what you pay for, will definitely raise my budget if ever visiting Paris again.

Nice, it's clean, but if you go to sleep, let down! Bedding in concrete, no soundproofing, woke up not only by the mattress on top that cracks, but also by vacuuming happened at 1 in the morning! I don't even talking about the noise from the outside! The real positive point is the location less than 3, 5 km from all the monuments of Paris…

We stayed 5 nights from 21 to 26 September, myself, my mom and a friend. We had a great time. Metro just across sidewalks. Moulin rouge right in front of the hotel, suggestive of night. Room and bathroom clean, comfortable with moderate space. Nothing scary so as read by some reviewers. Reception always cordial. Nearby Boulangerie, pharmacy at a quick pace, and other local venues around to eat. In short, the whole thing has helped to make this trip to the big Paris memorable, Magnifique.

Perfect, very nice d a lovely receptionist, the rooms are very comfortable and very nice employees, in a mythical area just in front of the moulin rouge.

All who read this review! This is the most terrible and fucking hotel! Dirt! Cold! Rude staff! The room was cleaned as horrible, bed't change пототенца not change in the window cracks in the finger! and draught were with 27.12.11 on 03.01.12, spoiled all the rest! In Russia such fucking hotels are already there! And the beds even on terror" some ants running around! Barely found where to leave feedback! under the Windows shout чекнутые Negros! God forbid to get to this hotel! photo on their website do not correspond to reality, and the wardrobe there is a niche in the wall, with doors made of plywood and covered with Wallpaper old and dirty.
