They're scountrels! I booked their "hotel" let's call it that! On March 24, 2018 with all of receipt and confirmation (which I will show below with photos) on 30 May ie yesterday, I received an email where they say that the payment was not accepted! For My Invalid card! (REMEMBER AFTER OVER TWO MONTHS! ) After repeated emails, I asked to add a card to my father! They themselves initially demanded this change of paper! Telling Him that otherwise they would cancel the reservation, so I wrote The data of the other card, which in turn refused without a reason still valid! And Here I confirm the cancellation adventure! This is where The nightmare begins! Among a thousand calls never answered, phone out of place! No reply by email.! Right now I'm on the other side of town, thanking the Lord and a very dear friend of ours! To have found another room to sleep in! It was for them I would have slept under a bridge! I hope they close it as soon as possible! BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU BOOK FROM THEIR SITE! Because apparently it's their trick! YOU'RE BEING DENOUNCED! For me it is worth less than zero! I Hope I never see your name written before my eyes!

The hotel would need a deep makeover. The red carpet reigns everywhere, the shower door was broken and the elevator did not give confidence. The location of cons is excellent, close to two metro stations.
I will not return.

Let me say this first — in no way was the circumstances of the situation were the fault of anyone associated with Royal Aboukir but their handling of said situation was appalling. We stayed at the Royal Aboukir for 2 nights, the first night was fine, room was small but clean (bathroom absolutely tiny but fine. ) The second night however, we arrived back at the hotel at 10pm after being out exploring the city all day, to find that the power had been shut off and everyone had been kicked out of their rooms, and we're huddled in the reception due to a gas leak outside on the street. Like I said before, this is not under their control, but, the did not keep us updated with the situation, we had no idea how long it was going to be, my girlfriend was absolutely freezing as the doors/windows were all open (and we're told we needed to keep them open) there were no offers of any hot drinks, or any blankets to keep us warm throughout the night and there was no mention of a possibility of getting us to another hotel (after around 3 hours of waiting, the staff said they can get a couple people to a hotel across the other side of town… but would not be paying for transportation. ) We ended up getting let back into our rooms at around 3am. Not good for our flight home the next day. There has been no mention of a refund. Their handling of this completly ruined our trip.

We stayed in the month of February. Nice and clean room. Recommended breakfast. But little friendliness. Good location to move but a neighbourhood a bit ' ' particular ' '.

Hotel chosen only for location. Nice room but entrance, hallways and reception unspeakle.

Check the mini bar immediately. The location is convenient. The furniture and plumbing are old, everything breaks down. Cramped and dark. The bed is comfortable.

Great location, staff was little impatient in arrival, but it was late night. The room was small, difficulty getting in and out of the shower due to shower screen being blocked in by the sink. Overall it was ok for what we needed.

Small hotel in the middle of Paris, one is in a few minutes (on foot) at Notre Dame.
Rooms are fully adequate for a medium budget. Breakfast for €12 I would choose again, because it will not be cheaper in Paris.
Staff very nice and helpful, gave us tips and took care of our taxi to the Moulin Rouge etc. Hotel we would choose again.

The room was, of course, small but very comfortable: impeccable cleanliness, good soundproofing, super bedding, renewed towels and room made on the 2nd day (NS stayed 2 nights).
Staff very friendly and attentive.
Our room was on the 6th floor: Very nice view of the rooftops of Paris.
Lively and pleasant neighborhood.
Address we recommend without reservation.

If not better one can settle for two to nights + breakfast.

Location Walking distance to the center. Perfect location.

Old hotel that deserves a good refreshment, especially in terms of decoration.
The shower leaked, the milk pod for coffee in the room was curd, the décor in the room was more than obsolete.
Breakfast without much interest in a room in the basement, for a relatively high price considering what is served.

The hotel is very simple, but has to offer everything I needed. Good location, nearby good places to eat, Wi-Fi and a good price.

It sucks, we chose this hotel for our honeymoon and the room is not at all as they show in the photos is tiny old and dilapidated, not at all romantic, illusory photos even tiny bathroom and old extra in the 4th floor where we are in the corridor there are no working lights and so I have to use the torch of the phone to make me light not worth at all money thrown away, I will never go back. Not recommended Noemi de Carlo and Davide Salzillo.

The location was great, just a 5min walk from the metro. There were lots of shops and restaurants in the local area. The rooms were very small, but clean and comfortable. The receptionists were all pleasant.

Very clean room, friendly English speaking staff, central and safe area, poor décor especially corridors.

Very central hotel, highly recommend to move around in the center of Paris using the metro.

Excellent location with very competitive prices. The downside of the hotel is that the receptionist with the white hair is very edged. We arrived at the hotel and was just talking on the phone, made us wait 2 minutes and at no time told us either thank you or enjoy the stay or something similar…

The hotel is very nice. The room is clean and comfortable. The hotel is near metro station and city centre. There are many place to eat nearly. Good choice!

A pretty good three star hotel. Very nice staff and clean rooms. Within walking distance for every major tourist destination and a good price to boot! The bathroom shower was a little iffy but besides that very pleased!

We stayed with my daughter from the 23 December to 3 January… everything was perfect. The attention of the staff impeccable… to highlight the box spring, are excellent, we changed the sheets every day. The location close to everything… it is the typical Petit paris hotel… Never had breakfast in the hotel park, we were every day very early so that I don't have references…

Very disappointed… From the quality of the reception up to the room its cleanliness and the air conditioning very noisy at times. Bathroom dirty, not well maintained.
On the other hand, comfortable bed and quiet area on our two nights. Great location.

I'm giving this hotel five stars not because it's a five-star hotel but because based on the money that I paid and the product I received it was a 5-star experience for me. The hotel is old but very clean. Yes, the carpet is old, the decoration is dated but it was very clean when I stay there for 3 days. The staff was also very friendly and helpful they call a taxi for me to the airport. I feel like some of the reviews are a bit harsh. I think some people need to adjust their expectation given the money they paid. Also I really don't understand comments about the safety of the neighborhood: when I was there I did not see anything of the kind like prostitution or drugs or sketchy people at all, and I came home at 4 a. M. After a night out walking by myself. In fact the hotel is next to other legitimate businesses: there's a restaurant across from the hotel and people hang out and work and walk about freely. I do recommend for budget travelers.

A sweltering heat (October 18) Forced to sleep window open with the air-conditioning all night to get a decent temperature! Nothing works properly, can't call reception, a HS TV and a clean limit bathroom. 3 Stars wonder how!

Worst hotel ever. Manager lady was very rude… they do not know anything about customer service. 3 star is a joke! not even a 1 star. Elevator can hold only 1 person with a luggage. At night there is no light in the stair cases or in the passage. It's total dark. Never going to stay in this hotel ever.

Basic but nice. Staff were mostly friendly. They didnt necessarily speak perfect english but they tried very hard. The concierge helped book things, but it was by no means a tourist desk. The streets surrounding the building are undergoing reno so a few issues. Also luggage storage is a bit of a stretch, more like alcove where you can sit or keep luggage.

Our room was very small, rather dark, and not very clean (at arrival). The bath and toilet were very smallish — the water pressure was so low that it was difficult to take a shower or wash your hands. My wife had to take shower in our childrens' room — that had higher water pressure. The breakfast was not very good. There were no remote control to the TV in our childrens' room — so they could not watch TV. The staff was quite nice and friendly — but they did not try to correct the issues we reported (low water pressure, missing remote control). On the positive side: Our childrens' room was quite nice and more spacious than ours. And the hotel is situated centrally in 2nd Arr. Close to the the Seine, so you can walk to almost all the places you want to visit.

Nice central location and rooms are (for Paris standards) rather spacious. Hygiene is OK, but the hotel itself looks a bit old (like many things in Paris though).

It was in a good location. Could do with a refurbishment. But this is reflected in the price.

The rooms is small for somebody coming from usa. It's nice. The area around is in construction. Metro is very close.

We spent two nights at this hotel. Room and water room small, rather dilapidated. A trickle of water at the sink faucet and in the evening no hot water.
The sheets and towels very clean.

Room not ready at check in time. Small. They didn't drive us to the room. Bathroom in the closet without windows or aspiration, bathroom door that is not closed. Very bad Wi-Fi. Breakfast for 12 euros plus we didn't make it. Metro a 5-minute walk.

I enjoyed it for the price. Had a minifridge, comfortable beds (they changed the mattreses the second night I was there), and decent accommodations. Location was pretty decent as well, as all main attractions were within walking distance, with a metro station close by.

The coordination in this hotel is a crap made me go to the room and it was not areglada touch me the door and before I the cleaning lady opened the door the opened was to clean the room I was in shoock.
