For the price 94 euro this is an excellent hotel. The staff are very helpful. Very pleased with it. Highly recommended.

Nice off the beaten track hotel walking distance from Gare de Nord. (railway station North, where you end up or embark on the Euro train). Very nice hand made shoe maker / cobbler shop Hamil. On the way from Poisonne under ground station.

Excellent for three stars — clean, rooms comfortable and even with a pleasant very Parisian design, friendly concierges.

The hotel is located near the Gard du Nord and therefore has a great transport connection. The reception was very nice and the rooms rather small but clean. The breakfast was delicious but the choice was rather small. Every day the same cheese or the same sausage. Unfortunately, the service staff at breakfast was very unmotivated, so it was not cleared and the tables were full of old dishes and were not covered, for new guests, so that you had to go even after dishes, even then you had still with waiting times Add. Even the food, such as bread, sausage and cheese, did not work. So the food was delicious when you got the chance to eat something too.

Pretty convenient to the gare du Nord station. The hotel itself was clean and nice. The desk staff were kind and helpful. We stopped by early to drop our bags off and when we came back (still an hour early for check-in) to loiter in the lobby because we were too tired to move any more… They had the room all ready for us! Breakfast was delicious, and the variety of foods was pretty good. Including yogurt, pastries, granola, bread, eggs, meats and cheeses. A little expensive to an American, but so is everything in Paris. The rooms are cozy and the elevator is miniscule, do not try it with a wheelchair or even lots of luggage. Expect to use the stairs.

The reception is deplorable.
No sense of trade. The hostess is doing a very bad job.
The rooms at 253 euros are tiny the bathrooms antiquated the curtains are stained.
Positives. No noise. Adequate bedding.
The lobby, the elevator and the public areas are dated.
At this price there will run at Parister… day and night.

The Hotel Le Rocroy is located in walking distance of about 5min from the Gare du Nord and is therefore very well connected to all important north-south metro lines. Sacre Coeur can also be easily reached on foot. Breakfast is reasonable for a hotel in this price range but in poorly ventilated basement. The lobby has a piano and billiards facilities. The rooms are clean with carpets and curtains to some age, only the floors in the hallway are already badly taken. The room service is good and works exactly. The reception is 24/7 open, multilingual and leaves nothing to be desired. The valet service is quite expensive at 20 €/day but in the secure parking garage. All in all for cheap short trips to Paris to recommend. It should be a bit more, but should be looked elsewhere.

The scores of 4 and 5 for this more than ordinary institution are relatively optimistic. Tiny rooms, a symbolic soundproofing, a unique receptionist at peak hours, in short, not the warmest place in the world.
Positive Points However, the hotel is clean, quiet and relatively cheap. Perfect for a stopover between two days of travel if you go through the North station.

Small (normal for Paris) but clean room with enough attention to detail. I was impressed to have a choice in pillows to choose from! My room was on the first floor facing the street but no issues regarding any street noise. Unfortunately the curtains didn't close properly enough to keep the light from outside away. Breakfast provided plenty of choice. I would book this hotel again, especially for the location.

Lovely Hotel. Excellent location at two steps from several Metro stations and 1km from Montmartre. The staff was very helpful Francesca Italiana di origin welcomed us and supported both check-in and check-out. Clean modern and well-heated rooms. Wonderful holiday. To repeat!

During my trip to Paris I spent two nights at the Hotel Le Rocroy. Overall, I had a great stay and I’d recommend the hotel if you’re looking for something reasonably priced with a central location. The hotel is a short 5-minute walk from Gare du Nord. Metro stops and bus stations can be quickly reached and you can use public transportation to easily get anywhere you need to go in Paris. The lobby is modern and there’s even a pool table that you can use to blow off some steam after a long day exploring. In the basement is a cozy little breakfast room. The Breakfast is decent and I’d recommend booking a rate with breakfast included if possible. The hotel itself seems a bit dated. The elevator is old and the hallways are in need of a deep cleaning and fresh coat of paint. I stayed in a double room with an OK city view. The room was spacious for Paris standards and came equipped with everything one would need for a short term stay in the city. The Wi-Fi worked great and there were plenty of outlets in the room for keeping things charged. The only problem I had was with the bathroom. It was dirty, outdated, and some of the fixtures weren’t working or completely broken. It needs to be properly cleaned and upgraded as soon as possible. The shower backed up almost right away with water and the tile grout was completely black from not being cleaned in a long time. The gross bathroom was very disappointing, otherwise it would have been a perfect stay at this hotel.

The hotel was everything that was advertised. The room was clean and comfortable, and the safe provided was easy to use. The breakfast option provoded is from 7-10 and was a standard contenental breakfast with cereal, yoghurt, rolls, cold cuts ans cheese. They offered juice and coffee with breakfast, all self serve. The hotels location is fantastic, it is only a few kilometers from any attraction you might want to see, and many times we ended up taking an Uber to an attraction and simply walking back. There is also a grocery store open till midnight a few blocks away which was convenient for late night food and savings. The only reason it got 4 stars was because every card we were provided to enter our room worked only once or twice before becoming demafnitized, even on occasions when it was in a coat pocket all on it's own. The staff however was very friendly and helped resolve the situation every time.

The hotel for the price was very good. Only the parking garage of the hotel is bad. They scratched our car. You don't have to let the car park yourself park by the employee of the house.

Located very near the Gare du Nord. Room is nice and simply decorated. Its not big bit its ok. Staff is nice too. Its pretty quiet around so no problem to have a good night sleep.

Within walking distance to the no 42 bus, that will take you around the major touristy places. Nice decor, good sized & clean room. Apparently if you book directly with the hotel, free breakfast is included as well.

Average value for money by Paris standards, also the service staff is very courteous.

Have been in many hotels here in Paris and this is within my favourite, because is decent.
The rooms are small, as in most of the hotels in Paris. The bath room also.
The elevator is very small, as much 3 people and if carry luggage, no more than 2.
The breakfast is regular, but as in other hotels around.
The decoration and the price is what saves. They usually have good price.

Close to the Gare du Nord, easy when you come from Belgium. Friendly, very nice room with large bathroom. The breakfast was very good. The lift jars a bit in the whole: it is tiny and dated. We stayed three nights and we will definitely return.

Great location — near Gare du Nord and Gare de L'Est. Side street, so no traffic noise. Fairly large room; clean and we'll laid out. Very affordable. I'll be back here on my next trip.

We arrived early and could not check in but we were offered the luggage storage service, which was a big plus. Staff were very friendly and helpful, giving us a free map and indicated all the main tourist attractions. They also offered us Wi-Fi connection for our two smartphones. The Wi-Fi connection was slow and rather poor but it was sufficient to do most of the urgent stuff. Free internet connection on a pc and printing was available in the lobby though. The room was clean and nicely decorated in a modern style, as was the ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was abundant offering packaged madeleine cakes, toast, yoghurt, fresh bananas and apples and croissants and other sweet pastries. Overall a great budget hotel very close to the gare du nord. Would not hesitate to stay there again.
