This hotel is perfectly located at a metro (underground) entrance, as well as the Gare de l'Est station right at your doorstep. The breakfast (included) in my stay was adequate for a tourist and as a two star hotel I got what I expected. The Wi-Fi wasn't very good, though. There was only a shower in my apartment and the view was terrible. The elevator was small and the stairs narrow. But these are all things I accepted of this hotel (two stars) and at least I felt that my luggage was safe in the lock-up facility I was able to use since I arrived too early at the station from my inbound trip via Charles de Gaulle airport. The staff on the four days of my visit were friendly and co-operative. I liked my stay there and I appreciated the fact that I could get a roof over my head at an average price (however, not too cheap).

Ants, no hairdryer, noise from room neighbors at night… uh to avoid.

A complete SCAM! Nothing like the photos the "hotel" uses to attract it's guests and much like the ones uploaded by the victims of this hell. The place was filthy from top to bottom. Stains all over the place, and I mean walls, carpets, doors, … you name it. It smelled like it hadn't been cleaned in years! The elevator is a complete death trap. The first thing you notice upon entering your room is the filth you feel… The sensation that the place is filled with all types of bugs slaps your face right at the room's entrance. First thing I did after entering the room was to pray to the Lord Almighty and the Lord answered immediately that I was on my own in that God forsaken place! I left my backpack on a chair, no way it was going to touch the bed, and checked the "bathroom". And what was waiting for me? A pair of boxes hanging on the showers curtain's bar. I run on the rescue of my brother and he told he had found cigarette butts on the floor! At ten o'clock, and after a flight of two hours and having to pick another flight at six o'clock in the morning, I left in search for another hotel. I checked eight before finding one that had available rooms. No way we were staying at this "hotel"! When leaving this "hotel" I wanted to report a complain and requested the hotel's letter of claim, or any another form of hotel service complaint letter or form, to do so.

Yes it is good but the elevator is small for a person in a wheelchair does not fit in the rooms are not bad but small downside the bathtub is old.

I was skeptical in view of the comments, but for a night in Paris between Buddy the hotel is quite acceptable.
3 Big positive points to pick up: 1) The location is top: Right in front of the Burger King and 15 min from the Grand Rex on foot.
2) The price is really mini for a hotel in Paris, (€46 for two people per night).
3) The Butler is really great! Atypical, welcoming, smiling, and very friendly with a great sense of humour!
Beyond that, the rooms were decent and the bed relatively comfortable.
Only downside, as soon as the night fell the surroundings of the hotel become a can fearos with as said a previous comment "of the allure of Bronx".

It is a hotel that is only acceptable for its location, but I was never in hotel worse, the rooms did not match the photos on the website or the booking sites, noise, the bed uncomfortable, dirty, the bathroom is no longer white is yellow with cigar burns in general very bad Care. It should not be called hotel.

A decent place if you need to use the train as the hotel is located very close from some main train stations. The rooms are fine and have everything you need although there is Wi-Fi it is quite slow and sometimes does not work. Also because the location is in a very busy area it is very loud 24/7 meaning it can be hard to sleep.

Cheap and easy to acces important place.

Disadvantages: Not friendly receptionist (Strange behave), room is okay for 1-2 night max. Advantages: Centrally located.

Worst hotel in the World! I have to a lot of places to know that sometimes hotels can be subpar. But this hotel felt like a farce. The rooms vary significantly in quality. My room's floor was on a slope, with no option for any kind of cooling (fan, a/c, or natural air flow). Mosquitoes ridddled me with bites all night and people talked at to he top of their lungs till 2 in the morning and starting at 5 am. Wifi is more whimsical than a teenaged child. I had no reception in my room at all. After shower, I felt dirtier. And the bed sheets were itchy. At this point I am hoping to not have bed bugs. I actually hated it so much that I ran to Holiday Inn next doors and paid whatever they wanted to get away from this hell hole.

The good: Location can't be better. Its in the heart of Paris, less than a minute from the metro and train. The bad: No Internet! That is a deal breaker for me. When traveling and do not want roaming charges, Wi-Fi goes a long way. They advertise having internet, they even give you a user name and password but always get "connected, no internet" status. The staff members working in the evening tried to help but were not able to. The members working in the morning seemed to be taking it as the norm and said we don't know how to fix it. There is free Wi-Fi at the train station and McDonalds close by. That may be the way to go if you just need it for a few minutes. Room was very basic and old. That would be ok if there wasn't a moldy smell! There were 2 power outlets in the room, one of which was connected to the tv, so we had to unplug it to charge our phones and plug in our computer. Of course our devices needed to take turns. The elevator was very tight. Was difficult for 2 people with luggage. May be an accessible place based on location but you can get something a lot better for the same price, just won't be in that location. Your call!

Hotel suitable for short stays vicinissiimo to the Metro.

Staff with maximum availability… Rooms a bit not modern but spotless… reception maximum availability… I can't say…

Good connection to the centre of Paris. Old hotel with rooms so regular, you can't ask for more for a two star hotel. But if you don't mind this and want to save on stay this very well. Excellent service in the kitchen, very good breakfast. By the way very nice treatment of all the hotel staff.

More than hotel should be considered "Stanberga"… the only positive note is the location. …

Well served by public transport, not far from the main tourist attractions. Good breakfast good cleanliness of the rooms and towels. Pleasant staff.

Small rooms, lack maintenance has no stove fridge. Minimal personal kindness.

Reasonably priced in a convenient location. But very basic. Rooms are small but clean. A lot of street noise throughout most of the night. We stayed with our kids which worked out ok. Don't bring your fiancee to impress!

You get what you pay for, 3 man bedroom that was only useful for sleeping. Terrible shower pressure, dirty shower. However clean bathroom and maid cleaned the room every day. Advertises free Wi-Fi, however during peak hours the speed is reduced to nothing (0.3 mbit/s) Excellent connections to Paris with both metro, train station and bus stop right outside the hotel. Its a 2 star hotel where you get what you pay for.

It was fine before the change of ownership. Now rates are far too high for the quality offered. Too bad.

Booking made online but arrived at the hotel reservation not taken into account have to go to another hotel and my credit card was debited for the price of the room that I could not have. Hotel con A avoid absolutely.

Nice but small hotel in a vibrant part of paris, close to Rail stations.

It was the hotel I stayed at in Paris, though the rooms are small but great views from the balcony such as the domes of the Sacre Coeur, and the train station and the Church of St Lawrence right down the street.

Easy access to Paris, reasonably priced in high price Paris and friendly staff.

The hotel is very well located nothing more.

I went with my boyfriend and it was gorgeous, though very simple can satisfy your needs. I would return for its strategic position with the Metro connects with various points of the city.

Communication is very good, hotel is very affordable and the quality is generally reasonable for what is paid. Breakfasts are quite normalitos and rooms are relatively modern, so do not ask much more. He would come back.

Within the things I do not liked: rooms, towels and bed linen with smell of humidity, toilet little cordial staff.
Within the things that are good but could be improved: continental breakfast is quite good, but could include salt alternative.
Within the things which are very well: its location next to the metro and train station.
