Hôtel de Verdun Hotel

Great little hotel. I discovered it when I cycled across France at the beginning of June. Unbeatable rates, warm welcome, quick access from the canal.
My room was nice and quiet (especially the shower). I was able to get my bike to safety.
Another highlight is that it is next to all the amenities (bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants. Which are about a 5 minute walk away.
For the rest, be curious.

Hotel to recommend! Charming owners, a very nice warm welcome. A simple but well-equipped room. A very comfortable bedding. A very well insulated on-street room, no noise.
Little cats wandering around the courtyard, all this brings a special charm to this hotel, very well placed in Nevers.
Special mention for breakfast, very hearty, very good and with little pancakes really delicious!

We are travelling by bike and loved everything about our stay in Hôtel de Verdun. The staff was super nice with us from the beginning. We could park our bikes in a small garden inside the hotel. The room and bathroom were huge, clean and very comfortable. The location is awsome. Everything near and reachable by foot.

Excellent location in downtown. The picture is from the Porte de Paris (Paris gate), centuries old under renovation. A lot of writing in old French, but the stones are in such bad shape that it is hard to read. Nevers is a most friendly town, visit and you won't be disappointed.

Very nice welcome. Comfortable room and super bedding! Just the showers not very convenient. I spent seven weeks in this hotel, and I am very happy about it. Thank you.

Hello, a hotel ideally located, close to downtown commerce and restaurant, a very friendly welcome and a very pleasant feline presence for the Friends of the beasts; Clean Room A welcome tray with coffee and tea. The varied breakfast with homemade jams and a beverage concocted by the original boss we love and always in the company of our feline friends. To conclude an old-fashioned hotel, family as there are less and less damage. If we go through Nevers we will return thanks.

Old-fashioned but a lot of effort to offer comfort to the customer. Quiet location and good location to go out on the restaurants and pub. Nice owners.

The hotel is in the center of the city, the rooms require renovation. Heating no.

Supposed to be cyclist friendly. The last thing I need after cycling for 7 hours in the sun is to have to wait around in the street for 2 hours until the place is opened. Looked dirty from the outside. I cancelled the booking (loosing all of my payment), and booked an alternative just around the corner — which was open and infinitely nicer.

Value for money unbeatable! Very good reception by the owners (we were with our bikes). The breakfast was awesome! (Cake and jam houses! )

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel Verdun room nice breakfast friendly owner was listening and a remarkable kindness you would have thought home excellent family as we find more thanks for everything I recommend this really nice place my daughter loved the company of cats.

Pleasant surprise that the Verdun hotel! A single star displayed, and yet: all it takes in a cozy, quiet room, equipped.
The reception is very friendly and the breakfast: Delish (the Chocolate Fudge House, jams, coffee, as mentioned on the page)!
It seems to me that the criteria of the French stars do not have justice to this establishment really very recommendable.
Go without concern.
