Perfect especially in these difficult times.

Hello
we booked a standard room for February 13, 2021.
The room is ok and well presented, the reception is good.
However, there is no hot water in the bathroom just very limited lukewarm water for a shower and not suitable for the bath.
The reception tells us to let the water flow… nothing helps.
The next day, we report the problem to the reception before leaving, the person doubts what we said and tells us that it is 24oC in the room.
We had to put the heating at the Max in the room because the bathroom was cold, the floor was icy and it did not have a means of heating.
Behaviour and quality of services unworthy of a hotel of this standard.
Value for money for the shot very disappointing.

Delightful hotel in the middle of the old town. Very comfortable room, well furnished and great bathroom. Excellent breakfast, but didn't eat in evening as. So many lovely restaurants close by.

Lovely friendly & helpful staff. Clean room with a large bathroom which was great as we were a family of 4 females. Very nice selection at breakfast p, would recommend the buffet. Location is excellent especially for nighttime strolling g. Public parking very close & reasonabley priced for overnight stay.

Excellent location right in the centre of town with excellent restaurants and cafes nearby. Undercover parking available. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable room. Very interesting town, should have stayed longer.

Excellent location within the ramparts. Great restaurants within a few minutes walk and a good base to go to places like Mont Saint Michel, Dinard and Dinan amonst others.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, we did not test the breakfast so no reviews on our part.

I think this hotel would be more in my eyes a 3 star.
But otherwise I have absolutely nothing to complain, very nice staff, a spacious and modern room, small favorite for the bathroom which was large and with a bathtub! What more could you ask for?
Very comfortable bed. Fridge, safe and I pass, we had a very good weekend in love.

This hotel is not really a 4 star. Difficult to have breakfast at 2 when there is only one chair. The nights are very hot, impossible to turn off the heating so badly slept. The staff is impersonal. Parking is not easy to access and no one to take the luggage on arrival. Disappointed with our stay.

Hotel very well located in the Intramuros part, redone and very quiet. Parking closed La buit this quibpeut be a plus.

A really lovely hotel in the walled town of St. Malo France. Have been here twice in a group of four. Will definitely be staying there agaìn. Friendly and helpful staff, clean, modern rooms and great breakfast buffet. Car parking available at the hotel if booked in advance, for a small fee.

Very nice hotel located in the heart of the intramural city of St-Malo. Very quiet, the staff is available and welcoming. The rooms are spacious. Breakfast is plentiful. We will return at the next stopover in St-Malo.

The impression that this young person was making us a flower by welcoming us.
It was stipulated on the site: "parking", exact, except that it is not next to the hotel and that any 4 stars that it wants, it is facture10 €!
We were given a tiny room and very far from the standards * * * *.
(light that passes under the door all night, view on dilated courtyard with multiple compressors or refrigerator motors, backed by the elevator cage, we could see that it worked very well! )
a stunt breakfast, some products with a dubious freshness, (FAT sweat counties, brioche pretely decorated with small white dots of moisi…)
In short: disappointment!
From four stars it deserves only 3, one of which is dull.
You don't want to play Champions League when you have a UEFA level…
However, we still love ST-MALO deeply.!

The hotel inside the walls was excellent. Our favorite restaurants steps away. For English speakers, no problem.

Lovely, modern hotel right in the middle of St. Malo. Good communication beforehand to direct you on finding the hotel and parking. And lovely reception staff and amenities. Would definitely return.

This Hotel was well positioned within the Old Town, it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast/s were fine and the all staff had a very good attitude towards us. We would recommend this Hotel. In 47 visits to St Malo over 36 years it was my first stay there but we will return.

This hotel is in a great location for getting around Saint-Malo. The staff are exceptional. We will forever be grateful to Mark for helping remedy our train snafu. His wife jumped right in when we asked for help, then turned us over to Mark. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean, with plenty of space. This will be our "Saint-Malo" hotel for future visits.

Comfortable, clean and a great location. The staff are very helpful and speak good English. We will definitely be back on our next trip to St Malo.

Nice comfortable ok and well located within the historic walls. Excellent variety of (cold) buffet breakfast foods. We came on a short break through Brittany Ferries which was very good value. Unsreservably recommended.

A very pleasant and relaxing stay (3 nights — May / June 2016) Hotel management and staff were so helpful, friendly, professional and faultless — giving sound advice on hotel, St Malo, local restaurants, tourism etc. The Hotel is supremely located and central to many sights, cafes, restaurants. The Hotel is stylish, comfortable and quiet — very well decorated with exceptional taste. We will return.

Great locate to visit and tour St. Malo. Staff was wonderful, check-in was easy. We were treated wonderfully by the staff and they were also very helpful.

Loved our stay at des Armateurs. Great location, friendly, helpful, English-speaking staff. Comfortable room. Express breakfast in the room was very good and an inexpensive option to the full buffet. On-site parking very useful even if it is a little difficult to locate and navigate. Only downside is the shower which requires you to step over a high-sided bathtub — Ok for young folks, but a bit of a problem for us old geezers. Grab bars would be helpful. Overall a very good experience and excellent value.

We spend a very pleasant stay. We were first time on 09/10/2015 and there is clean, pleasant, friendly and courteous. We are back in early March 2016. The rooms are very nice, bed comfortable, no noise and breakfast at will. The staff was very pleasant and Nice because we are a large family and we were very well received.

After an accounting error, the hotel charged me the sum of more than EUR 500. It's me who realized the mistake a week after booking. I called the hotel to serve them with the problem. They me re credited the sum a week later… Anyway, check your account after the booking because I don't think he would have alerted me to the problem. I think it would have been good form to make me a little gesture of goodwill. But nothing.
Otherwise the hotel is really good, very comfortable and Nice. Even the least expensive room is big and very well decorated. And the staff very professional and friendly.

This is our third stay at this hotel intra muros and, even once, were delighted of the welcome and the cleanliness of the room.
A few minor drawbacks however: the faucet of the bathroom defective and still not be "normal" after the passage of a technician as well as the lack of choice of breakfast breads breakfast (15 euros anyway)

I recommand the hotel: nice room and bathroom, very clean, good location, good price/quality.

A wonderful hotel in one of the best locations in Saint-Malo. We stayed in the family room which very comfortably slept four. A short walk to everything in the walled town, A very friendly and most accommodating staff. I recommended it highly.

We loved our time at your beautiful hotel. The rooms were wonderful and the service amazing. Emma was very helpful in telling us all about St Malo and even gave us a wonderful recommendation for a creperie.

Our stay Hotel Maison des Armaturs was almost perfect. The location was excellent, the rooms were of a very high standard in both facilities (especially the air conditioning) and cleanliness. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly where nothing seemed too much trouble. The only down side was that we couldn't stay longer.

Excellent stay. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. Staff super professional and the breakfast was tasty.

Love it — will return one day. Air con is dependent on room temp so does go on and off. Shower screen is ok — not perfect design. Neither of these are issues to worry about. Just observations for the sake of it. The rest is perfect and clean and stylish. Lovely staff and hotel in perfect location and nicely renovated.

Nice hotel, perfectly located (just at the entrance of a gate of the walled city). Alexandra at reception was lovely and perfect advice: booking a restaurant for the same night (Great Council), plan shown and annotated, tips for lunch the next day in the walled city (also well-chosen! ) and have a drink after the restaurant on the day of the year!
The room was spacious, quiet (on Court), bathroom with care, bottles of free water in the minibar, kettle for coffee also products free self-service.
The breakfast was complete and varied (and served till 11! ).
The docks in front of the hotel free parking is on off-season, it was perfect!
If there is a downside to say: the beds are a little hard for my taste.

Horrified by what we just read on Google + written previously, we hasten to give our users our version of the facts.
We remind our clients that each room is controlled before the arrival of the guests (cleanliness, facilities, …), as well as at each departure.
October 5, missing a hairdryer in room 105. We have warned customers that we don't find the hair dryer (which is free) and asked if he had not been carried away by mistake. A hair dryer (same brand, same model as the other 44 rooms) reported the same night. We thought the incident closed. Therefore, we are very shocked by the defamatory words published in this comment.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Friendly, helpful staff and nicely appointed rooms. Will definitely stay there the next time we are in St Malo.

Run this hotel go elsewhere it's 1 advice! take the time to read to the end; attention check well your room because in mine not hair dryer you not report it thinking it was normal because you have a simple black calor with the pink switch (model Elite model look) because we have not find it useful to the final it's limit what's done it to insult short thieves that's complete we have them give ours which is my daughter for a hotel either saying 4 star his feared because accuse as his customers without taking the trouble to check and in addition to accept an old hair dryer in to calm things up to show our luggage to watch our good times. His can lend a smile and amazing but true it was a group so I pence they don't we enjoy in short think me if you voyer this hair dryer you will be that the hotel serves on the backs of customers! as a 4 star hotel would be even not allowed to compensation a hair dryer because the large hotels we specific equipment not found in supermarkets I believe who me we stole.
also we have spend the night so from Saturday 04/10/14 to 05/10/14 Sunday for breakfast no croissant or pain au chocolat, for hot drinks like coffee, tea, milk or chocolate takes their request because it take your cup go into their office room (kitchen) for us to heated or serve us and brings us back Meanwhile unclear the status of preparation because no free service for hot drinks! well yes it is the first time I see her! and the thin buffet choice and quantity!

Very nice hotel within the city walls. Location, location, location! Friendly staff. We forgot footwear in the room and they mailed it to us. Breakfast a bit steep at 15€; better to get something from all the fresh bakeries around the hotel.

This is a fantastic hotel. The location is perfect for exploring St Malo, the room was extremely nice and the staff were exceptionally helpful. If you're heading to St Malo, this is the ideal place to stay.

In short, really great!
A small note: the Cot was well prepared in our room, but an additional mattress to put in that it wouldn't be too much. But it's a detail, Zoe to prefer large and comfortable bed with its parents.
Only regret? We wanted to continue this adventure a night in the House of shipowners, but unfortunately it was full. Proof of the success of this business.
