I don't recommend this hotel at all
Room too small, shower too narrow
Room walls too thin you hear the neighbors talking
Elevator too small for a person with a suitcase
Absolutely to run away from this hotel
They sold us a more expensive room saying to see above the ramparts
Surely nice view but horrible room.

Friendly helpful reception, room at top of building accessed by a very small lift! no parking locally so had to use the underground carpark at 34 euros a day! room clean and ideally situated for town amenities.

Clean room. Although view of the port, too bad not to be able to sleep windows open, too much noise. In the annex building, elevator too small. And moreover, if mobility difficulties do not choose this establishment.

Room very small, very poorly soundproofed. You can hear the roommates as if we were next door. Tiny bathroom. Finishing problem. Printing of tinkering. Bathroom door that doesn't close. Wet room. No air conditioning. On the other hand friendly welcome with good advice on the city intra muros. Classic and ok breakfast.

Ideally located intra muros, Ibis Style actually got style!

Bad, they do not give you the room they show you in the photo, they gave me an attic, very small, since I did not want to supplement with supplement after prepaid anyway…

The hotel very well located Intra-Muros is comfortable, the staff very welcoming and professional. A few telephone exchanges before our arrival allowed us to prepare our stay for the best.
On site, easy to park our vehicle and make beautiful walks.
Here too the advice was invaluable to help us in our choices.
Our stay was very nice. We will return.

Although we have shortened our stay because St Malo guaranteed success but too crowded and you can not appreciate its charm, the hotel is a very nice address, a very good welcome from Nicolas. Very good quality breakfast, fresh produce. Hotel and room clean, friendly. We will return but off season.

Modern, well located, clean, welcoming with a nice staff. Choice for breakfast. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Very clean room and excellent bedding, very nice, I recommend. Thanks to the management of its welcome!

Very good stay at the historic Ibis Styles center, this is really the perfect location. In the ramparts, everything is 2 minutes on foot.
The public car park is in front of the hotel so very convenient, plus the gate was hs so we didn't pay anything :-). The welcome was amazing from Nicolas and the whole team and very friendly. Our good sized room (305) overlooked the ramparts directly on the marina, I advise you. Breakfast very very decent, there is something for everyone, pastries, cold cuts, dairy products, regional products…
So a very good time, we'll be back with pleasure. Thanks to the whole team who is really on top!

I have rated the Ibis Styles St. Malo Port as 4 star as we stayed there and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and services. The bedroom was lovely and big, breakfast was good and staff friendly and location was excellent. We popped in the Ibis Styles Saint Malo Centre Historique around midday on the 29th march 2018 as we wanted to see what it was like in comparison with the sister hotel which we were staying at (Ibis Styles St Malo Port). However, the historique Ibis Styles city centre was not half as good, we went in around midday for a drink, to be told by the receptionist that the hotel lounge/ bar area was shut as floor needed cleaning (seemed weird as midday is when most people want lunch or snack) plus they never said it will be cleaned quickly so come back again soon. I reckon its cause nobody else was in there and they just couldn't be bothered to serve us. Cleaning the floor — stupidest excuse ever!

Room very clean and conditionned. Staff of a little common kindness. Clostrophobe, consider asking for a low floor room as very small lift and narrow but understanding staircase as it is in a classified building. I'll go back.

August 2016. Very nice hotel, room under the roofs. Nice view. Very good breakfast. The superb intramural city. A good restaurant Armorican and the giants of Timothy fabulous. The national fort. I loved it.

Great location Family room large enough and very clean. Ideal location for a stroll in St Malo and to go around the ramparts.

The small room with a view of the harbor is quite nice but unfortunately the lack of insonority ruins the whole thing. Damage.

Beautiful frame! Very nice receptionist! But on Sunday morning at 9am a lot of noises in the hallways following the passage of the maids. I thought it was a pity for a Sunday morning! But if not very well.

Hotel quite well kept very nice on the edge of the ramparts only small downside if you are afraid to climb stairs we were on the third floor and of course there is no lift but it keeps the shape as the next day we made the Mont Saint-Michel It was warming up.

Excellent hotel. Clean, comfortable with very friendly staff. Situated in a perfect position within the city walls. Would definitely have a return visit. Parfait!

To flee… the hotel is ok but we were very poorly received. Following a 2 night reservation with a view of the port (+ €20 per night) we arrived at 11pm and the room did not open! After 1h of procrastination the employee relocated us at midnight in a family room as there was no more port view available. The next day impossible to get reimbursed the port view! Explanation of the person at the reception: we were relocated in a more expensive room (with Street View in works). After discussion the manager proposes to charge us at night at the normal rate of this family room (more expensive) and that on the other hand for the second night we were looking for another establishment. This is the first time I've missed being put on the door! A Scandal! We stayed n having no choice…

Really well located, right within the city wall, afew minuts away from all the restaurants. Really good customer service by the receptionist and a nice & simple touch with the continental breakfast included. Get ready to carry with your suitcase all the stairs up. We left the car just rigt next to the hotel where we had to pat from 9am in the following morning. Think is 0, 80 per hour. Would hesitate to return.

For the place inexpensive and clean. For my taste, the breakfast eggs were missing from the breakfast buffet and the rooms are likely to be a little bigger. In one part of the house no elevator, you can weigh his suitcase over a narrow stairwell to the 3rd floor. St. Malo is very worth seeing!

The Hotel Ibis is bright cheerful & a great traditional French breakfast … big rooms lovely wet rooms for space wen wanting a shower! Perfect if your wanting the hustle and bustle of the shops & evening restaurants … the smell of good food being prepared. History inside the walled city is an amazing experience … we have visited 2x in the last year & already talking of going again soon … ☺☺☺

Room was good and clean. Sound insulation a little low but nothing catastrophic.
Good breakfast with pastries, bread, deli, compote, fruit juice, coffee etc.
Hotel well placed inside the ramparts.

The reception is warm… It feels good. Expected… the day before we were called to prepare our arrival best (suddenly the parking was super simple) the colorful and modern ambience the hearty breakfast the view of the port the proximity to the shops of restaurants and the Palace of the Grand large Pou R my husband thanks to the team Ginette and Jean.

Despite a complete hotel always smile and impeccable service.
Location of the hotel intra Muros at the top restaurants, shops and close to the beach of the furrow.
We would recommend this hotel.

Good location, basically a sound hotel and the breakfasts were good. However, I am a wheelchair user and there are real problems with accessing the hotel. I really appreciate that St Malo is an historic setting, but if it's possible to put a ramp from the pavement into the hotel, then it's possible to put a ramp from the road onto the pavement, especially at the main entrance where there is a planter on the road preventing traffic from getting close to the edge of the pavement. It was not possible to access our room from the main hotel entrance, even once we'd dealt with the lack of accessible pavements. My husband had to go in through the main entrance and then let me in through a side door. This door could ld not be opened from outside, so I was forced to be dependent on someone else to let me in. The side door led through the breakfast room to the accessible bedroom. No problem there, except that the way tables were laid out in the morning meant that it was impossible for us to leave the hotel until breakfast had been cleared out of the way. Maybe we could have been awkward and demanded that several tables full of people eating move, but we chose not to.

Hotel was clean and tidy. Very colourful, cheery decor. Free water and packet of sweets in every room! Staff behind the reception were very friendly. Highly recommended.

Perfect location. Rooms a bit snug.

We have stayed here a couple of times with our 2 dogs. The rooms are great and the staff brilliant. I Highly recommend this hotel.

The advantage of a hotel situated opposite the ocean and not far from the centre of Saint Malo for a very attractive price… Room clean but small and no great charm in spite of efforts on the decoration and the paintings. Personal welcoming.

Nice hotel in budget but it's a bit far (2.1 km) from the walled city and there is no public transport too.

The room was quite small, just enough place for the double bed and a small deck. The beach view is fantastic. Think about booking a place in the car park because it's difficult to find where to park in the busy streets.

Welcome, very good room, overall good for the price, the big default there's no box spring, "WE SLEEP ON WOOD, " noisy never ibis in st Malo centre.

Simple effective, the hotel has the services that was asked of him. A room without frills with bathroom and toilet in a simple, very clean, access code, payment in advance. Perfect for a transit to the channel islands. It is about a 20 to 30 minute walk to the train station, and the same for the ferry terminal.

Clean hotel, good bedding (great beds! ) but bathroom cramped. Breakfast satisfactory. Good report quality price for a short stay.

Facilities are pretty good, place is clean, and location is good.
