Amazing hotel, super friendly staff and lots of fun things to look at. Check in was super quick and no crap paperwork to fill in, the key was given and I was in my room within 5 minutes. Lots of things to take pictures of and post on Instagram including a vintage pommel horse.

Classroom atmosphere, all the details are there, very typical and friendly, excellent breakfast, lovely and warm welcome!

Very friendly home — vintage schoolboy décor but very neat — room very very very modern all white and beautiful. Great location.

Two people completely shot at the reception, smelling abominable in the lobby. I don't know what they smoked, we turned around! It was completely suurealist. For a 4-star. In my opinion they saw more than 4.

We were in a single night weekend stay in college hotel. Staff was very friendly, our room was clean and comfortable, with a fantastic view on the old town's ochre buildings and rooftops. A bit small, but OK for a short stay. Surrounding area is lively with plenty of options to shop, dine or chill-out after exploring Lyon. All in all a great experience; I would say it's a very nice 3 star hotel. We had a good deal, but prices for the same accomodations can soar by a factor of 8.

Ideally located in Lyon the concept is nice with a pretty pretty decoration for what is the ground floor. But then for the rooms this is another story! They are tiny with no decoration that do not make them at all warm to see even the icy atmosphere! The beds are very small, the bathrooms very poorly equipped with an alternating hot water and frozen water when you want to take a shower a real nightmare! Personally I do not recommend.

Superb hotel downstairs — but for a 4 star we were disappointed with the top. Rooms very small and especially s of poorly equipped baths with accessories and a really Scottish shower!
But good breakfast in chalheureux décor. This should be a 3 star.

Charming hotel, incredible look. The best place, ideally located to visit Lyon (in the very old district, charming again). A very good breakfast with everything needed. On the "bad" side, cold and "white" rooms, charmeless.

Concept is nice and the deco of research on the topic of the college. The rooms are a bit righteous to the comfort level. Good location and parking is possible on reservation.

Great. A memorable brunch around the school. A good alternative to Piaget! As Beckett used to think, you have to think of the belly full.

Very friendly place, with a very warm atmosphere. The school style decoration of our childhood, without denying comfort, is very tasteful, starting with that of the Madeleine de Proust. Very good reception, if not, only downside, the awkward eagerness of the hostess to charge, upon arrival the tax of stay, while everything else was already settled!

Elegant hotel in the heart of Lyon.

Cute boutique hotel with an excellent location at Vieux Lyon. The hotel has made effort to make the place school themed with chalkboards as trays, lots of old style school tables and chairs. Staff here are incredibly polite and helpful. We ordered deliveroo and asked if we could eat at the cantine and not only did the staff say yes, he asked if we needed cutlery or drinks. The rooms are small, bed is a bit tiny for 2 pax but comfortable. Bathroom is nice and spacious with enough hooks to hang 2 towels and your clothes! Most hotels only have one! Rooms are not sound proofed, as I could hear people going in and out of their rooms. Overall I love this place and would come back again.

Very original and playful decor. The school theme is fun and lighthearted. The rooms are small, intentionaly dorm-like, a bit austere but comfortable. Our particular view was very nice, even taking in the Norte Dame. The hotel is very conveniently located in the Lyon city center. Very helpful and friendly staff. I'd definitely recommend Collège Hôtel for a change of pace at a relatively low price.

Great location (near transit), cool atmosphere (1950s theme), friendly staff, and we liked playing foosball in the lobby.

The concept is not bad. The trick of the idea is pretty quickly done anyway. Still a great breakfast, OK service and rooms too small… The view is beautiful and the area lively and secure.

Pleasant Hotel in the centre of old Lyon.

Very quaint hotel, a modern twist on an old style school. Some really nice touches in that the restaurant feels like a school dinner hall with what looks like original school tables and benches. The rooms are "studenty" and minimalistic but enough to lay your head and store your stuff while you discover Lyon. Very friendly and helpful staff and if staying in Lyon, stay here, highly recommended.

We knew this hotel, for us assets are its location and parking closed and bookable. But despite this, it's been a few years that we boudions this hotel because they are too expensive in view of the service rendered. Thanks to a promotion, we have been trying since 3 ° positive point, he accepts dogs and no extra charge. At least we thought there! We stayed 2 nights during the Christmas holidays. We were not surprised by the smallness of the room, lack of functionality or even the Italian who waters almost all the bathroom shower. All we knew. We had forgotten the elevator for access to the garage with the car, claustrophobic refrain. Besides having a receptionist whenever we want to return the car, it would be simpler to have a badge but probably too expensive. Finally, despite all these imperfections, we feel that our stay was correct in the light of the price charged. Our satisfaction has been that of short duration, we came home December 24 in the evening to spend a nice Christmas dinner and we had the bad surprise to receive a payment from my credit card ticket made a few hours after our departure for additional cleaning due to our dog costs without any notice. For those who do not know places, absolutely everything is white, white, white, it's like a hospital from the time of the Soviet East Germany, more bland, no! We knew, so we went in addition. But our dog is black, what a mistake! Actually the black hairs are on the white ground.

Welcome, very friendly youth. But unfortunately the price is not justified. Small room, not enough big bed (140). Original decoration but all white room, it looks like a hospital. The breakfast provided, orange juice is not pressed on the spot, it's industrial orange juice high range. I give the third star for paying the hotel, convenient parking.
